Brookdale

We couldn't be more pleased with the facilities, people and care provided at Brookdale Chanate. My mother in law needed a place to stay for respite care on a very short notice and they were able to accommodate every need we had. She has only been there for two weeks now but we hope to make it a permanent situation. She is very happy there. Thanks to everyone at Brookdale and A Place for Mom for making it all happen.

Brookdale Eagan is a wonderful memory care facility. It is devoted to residents with Dementia and Alzheimer's. It is a smaller facility and feels like home, All of the personnel are caring and friendly and have the residents needs in the minds all of the time. An outstanding place.

I could not be happier with Brookdale. My mother absolutely loves living there. The food is excellent, every nook and cranny is spotless, the residents are clean, active and happy. Security is tight, which I appreciate. The floor plans of the apartments and living spaces was well designed and decorated. Any issue, however minor, is quickly addressed and solved. The value for the services is excellent.

Only having my wife in Brookdale Englewood for less than two weeks I can only give my feelings on this short time of observation. I so far have only the best feeling about Brookdale, the staff has been most helpful, my wife always to be well take care of, the facility is always well maintained, and my wife seems to be adjusting well. At this point in time I have been most happy with my choice with Brookdale Englewood.

The people who work there were a big selling point in relocating my uncle to this community. Lively and very caring, they treat you like family. Diverse community of mixed assisted living/Alzheimer's memory care, but everyone socializes and eats together so no separation due to degree of dementia. My uncle is still in early stages and needed more people he could still socialize with and activities that keep him involved. They have a "lunch bunch" activity that he enjoys so much and it's nice to see him get excited about something. The monthly speciality dinners that include family members are the best and the food is outstanding. There is always plenty of caring staff on duty on all shifts. They quickly inform of any problems. A huge improvement over the community we moved him from. So happy A Place for Mom sent me for a tour or I may have overlooked it.

So far everything is going well for my mother in law. She is still adjusting a bit, but we are pleased with this community. The community is well-kept and they keep her room very nice and clean. The staff has been great to work with. She is trying many new activities. The food is nice, she enjoys the meals. It has been a good experience and I would recommend it.

Moving Mom has been a great experience considering the circumstances. Good thing is it's close enough to me and I know she is getting the necessary care. Since moving she has not participated in any activities but only because she chooses not to. There is plenty for the residents to do. Mom start radiation next week so I am hoping things continue to go as well as they have been. I'd definitely recommend if looking for care in the area.

Our experience with Brookdale Bayshore has been a very good one! The lady who helped us through the move-in process, Renee, did an outstanding job! The facility itself is well kept and clean inside, and the care and maintenance staff do a great job. The food is also decent! It's a nice place overall, and I would recommend them.

The staff and residents here are like one big family! You walk in the door and feel like you are at home because of the inviting atmosphere! The care given is top notch and the nurses stay on top of any health concerns that may arise from any of the residents! The Nurse Practitioner that comes to the community is caring and straight forward. Her staff is able to order in-house x rays and labs so that you do not have to put stress on your loved one by taking them out of the community to sit in a waiting room. Moving my family member here was one of the best decisions that I have ever made! I have such peace of mind knowing that she is safe, taken care of and loved on as well. That alone is worth the cost!

While I do not live in the area I feel very comfortable with the decision to move Mom into Brookdale as I know she is being well taken care of. The staff keep me updated about how my mom is doing by email and they are very quick to respond to my email. My mom lost her phone the other day and when I emailed them they went and looked for it and found it right away. She goes to an exercise class daily and attends other activities. Since Mom doesn't really have a sense of timing the staff are really good about going to get her to join in. She has not said much about the food but I haven't heard any complaints. Mom is in a great place and I am glad A Place for Mom was there to help me when I needed it.

This community is like walking into your home. Exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff and management. The food is out if this world! I feel totally at peace having my mother there!

My experience with the Brookdale staff has been a great. Everyone from the wait staff to the personal care givers are very responsive to the residents needs and treat them great. The personnel is very good at keeping me updated with my parents care. The community also offers a wide range of care from independent living to personal care. They even offer PT at this community! As a family, we eat there regularly and I think the food is awesome. The overall experience has been excellent, I would definitely recommend this community.

I have an excellent opinion of Brookdale. It has been great for my mom. They prefer that the residents are outside of their room doing things, and not to just stay in their room. This is great because the last place we were wanted them to stay in their rooms. It's a lot more open and friendly. It's a memory unit that is a lock down facility, but to be honest it doesn't feel confining at all when we visit. I don't have any complaints about anything, we are very happy with it.

I love Charleston gardens. It's a great place with a family sitting.

She is liking it. She likes the food, and she is starting to participate, and loves bingo. She goes to get her hair done. They are very nice there. They came right away when she pulled the cord. They were good about calling me. I am very pleased. It's like a little family there, it's not so big. The only problem I have had, was when I signed her up, I think the sales manager may have said some things that weren't exactly true, there were definitely some inconsistencies. Dealing with Omnicare has not been particularly easy either.

My aunt is doing great, she has adjusted very well to the community. The facility looks amazing, they do a very good job with keeping the place nice and clean. The staff is great, I really enjoy working with them. They are amazing at caring for my aunt. There many activities for her to choose from. She enjoys going to the music activities. The food is great, she gets to pick what she would like to eat. They have a wonderful menu, with a great selection. Everything is going well. So I would recommend it.

I first toured this facility back in 2006 when I was trying to find a place for my mom to live. Unfortunately, they don't accept Medicaid, so I had to choose a different facility. Now 10 years later, I came back to this facility (after looking at many others) to consider a place for my dad and his wife (step-mother). I liked it back then, and I like it even better now since it's been updated. This is an older facility in the SE part of town, but it's very well maintained, very clean, has great staff, and has a hotel like feel to it that seems very homey and comfortable. My dad is super picky about food, but raves about the food choices in the dining room, and the chef's desire to prepare food that is appealing to all tastes. That in itself is a miracle, because I anticipated that this would be the toughest part of his adjustment. I guess I didn't need to worry about that after all. Staff is exceptional. All are friendly, attentive, and enjoyable to interact with. You can tell that they like working here. The Albuquerque metro area is experiencing strong growth in the assisted living market with many new options having recently opened, or about to open. No doubt, retirees are attracted to the high desert climate and abundance of sunshine. This particular facility is well worth checking out even though it's a bit older. It's close to hospitals, including the VA Hospital, the airport, and many dining and shopping options are only about a 10 minute drive away toward Uptown and Coronado Shopping malls.

Our experiences in this community have been very good and we are pleased. The community is nice looking, we only a little problems with the way they were cleaning my mom bathroom. They addressed my concerns and fixed the problem. The staff is excellent, and they are doing a great job caring for my mother. There are many activities for her to choose from. The food is fine and the dining area is nice. They have been open and very accommodating to us. I would recommend this community.

We are very happy so far! Staff is very nice, lots of activities. My aunt is making friends lots of residents for her to speak with. The community had a St. Patrick's day celebration for the residents and their families. We loved it! The food was great, no complaints. They also provided activities for the residents on Easter Sunday. Overall we are pleased with our choice.

We have a pretty high opinion of them so far. The other residents have been friendly and welcoming. We haven't seen anything we have found objectionable so far.
