Brookdale

My mother-in-law felt they were a little harsh about what they expected of her after her evaluation. I know their intention was to challenge her and improve her health and independence. I sensed she felt it was a little overwhelming. It came down to it not being a good fit for her. Her comfort was most important.

Everything is going great at Brookdale Creve Coeur! The facility is clean and the staff is very nice and polite! I have already recommended Brookdale to friends looking into senior care options. No complaints about this facility!

I toured Brookdale the other day and the people were very nice. I had a positive experience and it's a pleasant place.

My mother is adjusting very well here. The staff seems very helpful to all the residents, not just my mother. They even check on them at night. The have quite a few activities during the day. They had a gospel group visit the other day and the residents seemed to enjoy it. I like that they have a physical therapist on site as well. One thing I have noticed they could change is they have chalkboards with the events going on but it can be difficult to read because it's not very clean. The menu board is very small also. The staff does keep the residents informed so it's only a minor issue.

My loved one's stay at Brookdale was great! It was a very nice place and my loved one seemed to feel very comfortable here. She enjoyed it so much that we would've left her there if we could! My loved one had quite a nice stay at Brookdale!

We toured this community and liked the staff who were very nice and seemed positive. the community was clean and maintained. The list of activities was available to the residents to participate. The menu looked appealing. We would suggest other families for this community for the care of a loved one.

I toured this community in a hurry for my sister. [Removed], the sales manager helped with this process and made it easy for me. We came in for a tour and was able to get the assessment completed there for my sister same day even last minute. The nurse doing the assessment was very helpful also. During the tour we met different staff members that greeted us. So far my sister has been there for almost a month now and she loves it. She likes the activities and the birds in the front lobby. She likes the food! I would definitely recommend this community to others

My stay at Brookdale Englewood is going great! The community is clean and the staff is very friendly. The meals are great. The community has many activities to participate in, we seem to have something different to do every day!

Reviews for Brookdale Port [removed] really didn't give justice to our experience. Knowing nothing about assisted-living, being faced with a difficult decision to move our loved one; their sales counselor took a huge weight off our shoulders. Compassion, patience and consistency is what we have experienced from beginning to end. They really care about their residence, and want to make a difference in their life's. If something isn't working, I guarantee, they'll make it work. Our loved one is doing better than we ever hoped, and that is solely because of the staff.

My father loves the food and makes sure he never misses a meal! There's a couple women there who look out for him and ask about him when he's not around. There were two main reasons we chose Brookdale. One is the layout of the rooms was superior to other communities we looked at.The staff from the first time we met them to the first week he moved in went out of their way to accommodate us. I can't say enough good things about the care. [removed] and [removed] are really personable and take their time to build relationships with the residents and family.
