Brookdale

I toured this community for my mom's care. The staff was helpful in showing me the community that was clean and maintained. We liked the menu of the variety of meals. They had nice rooms, but my mom wanted a bigger size room for comfort. The community I would recommend for families to tour for care

We toured this community and like the community and the staff. The lunch was good and the community was clean on our tour. They also have nice activities for the residents We would suggest that families tour this community for the good options of care that are offered for a loved one.

We are very pleased with my mothers move to this community. She really likes it here, and is doing great. I know she is safe, and in good hands. They have a lovely staff, and they are taking good care of her, and her needs. They do a good job with the cleanliness, everything is very clean whenever I visit. There a good activities offered, and nice meals provided for the residents. We could be happier with everything they have done for us. This is a community I would absolutely recommend to my family, and friends.

My dad is doing well here, he has just moved in and the staff have been great in helping with his transitions. The community is very nice, he enjoys going to the dining room. There are a lot of amenities here and once dad has settled in I'm sure he will look into them.

The staff here have gone above and beyond in trying to help me with my mother. They have done several tours for her and my family and they even went to my mother's home. This is a very wonderful community and I felt that my mother would do well here, they would make sure that she was safe and well taken care of with her memory care. Unfortunately, my mother has refused to leave her home. I have recommended this community to my friends and family and I am still hopeful I will be bringing my mother here.

We are so pleased that we found this community it has been a great source of comfort for us. My mother in law is doing very well she is getting more comfortable in her new surroundings. She is starting to make friends and doing some of the activities. She says the food is pretty good. The staff here is super very friendly and interactive with the residents. Brookdale is a beautiful place for my mom. She is very happy and comfortable. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. They are very welcoming when friends and family come in to visit. The staff is very friendly and take good care of her. They respond quickly if she needs any help. We wish the food was better, we are not alone with this thought. Most of the residents send the food back. and the food was a selling point when we toured this community. Management said they were looking into the matter. There are a lot of activities provided that my mom participates in, she really enjoys the exercise classes. They have nice front patios with rockers and chairs to enjoy the outdoors and socialize. She recently went with a group of resident out to dine at the Cracker Barrel. She seems very content and happy. I would recommend this community to friends and family.

My dad was only in this community for a short time, but while he was there the staff did a very nice job with his care. He had a nice studio sized apt and he enjoyed going to the dining area and most of the time he liked the food. The community is very nice and offered a lot of amenities for the residents there.

I want to give a five star rating to Brookdale in Arvada. I looked at several assisted living facilities and while they all seemed very nice, Brookdale stood out in all the areas that were important to me. I saw it was maintained very nicely, was offering a well rounded environment for my father in activities, and quality of care. The thing that stood out to me was the atmosphere, everyone was friendly and happy which says a lot about that environment. They genuinely seem to all care about each other. They also have helped me tremendously with an emergency I had with my father as well which has been totally resolved now even with him only being there less than a week.

Very nice community and staff. Like living in a large fancy hotel.

It has been a great experience for my mother with her move into this community. She is doing well, and this community is working out well for her, and her needs.

My dad seems to be settling in well here. From what I understand he is slowly making friends and doing some activities here. The staff so far has been very friendly and nice helpful when needed. Dad is a picky eater he says the food is passable. The location of this community was better than the other community we looked at so we chose this one.

We were looking for an independent community for my parents and when we toured with them we had a good tour experience but they were not giving us the best feeling about the atmosphere.

On the tour we had a positive experience and [Removed] was amazing at showing us around the community. My mom is in a lovely apartment and she enjoys being here. She is getting good care from the staff. I liked how there was a committee for new residents and they gave her a welcome gift basket and set her up with a buddy to get familiar with the community and to sit with at meal times. There are very good amenities, many activities, and the look of the building is very pretty with plenty of space. They have a restaurant for dining.

Moving to Brookdale Glen Ellyn was a great choice for me. They are very accommodating and they make sure you are comfortable. They go out of their way to help you out. They do an excellent job serving breakfast and dinner. They also have a little area that they serve sandwiches and pop throughout the day. It is a very clean environment. They come in once a month and clean the rooms carpet. They have a lot of activities for the residents such as different card games, movies, and other activities. There are nice outside areas to stretch your legs and get some fresh air. I have spoken to residents who have moved from other communities to Brookdale Glen Ellyn and they say this is a great community. I agree.
