Brookdale

The community has stayed covid free and that is a blessing. They protected my loved one during covid and are meticulous in the care provided. The room's sizes are good but the chef has changed recently and the food could be better. I would definitely recommend the community

Brookdale Kettering is now allowing a small group of residents to eat in the dining room twice a week. Bingo just started up. The community did a COVID test and they all came back negative. This was a great thing, due to my loved one is in the independent living and other residents can go back and forth. Overall with the restraints I am pleased to see that they were able to keep the residents happy during the lock down. The community is a large place. The residents were delivered food during the COVID lock down as well.

We had to find memory care home for my mother during the start of the Covid-19 chaos. This was a very scary idea. The staff at Brookdale Stonebridge Ranch put these fears to rest. They have been wonderful to my mom. She has a very safe and involved life now. I am so thankful for everyone at this facility.

During my mother’s stay at Brookdale she made many many friends, as well as the wonderful staff. There were a variety of activities to experience throughout the week, and she enjoyed sitting with her friends in the dining room while choosing from the chef’s healthy selections from the menu. Although it was stressful to not actually be with mom during COVID-19 policy, the administration provided Zoom meetings for updates and also porch visits. Their protection of our loved ones showed me that the residents are family to them too. I truly appreciate the communication with the administrative staff, health department and reception community. They were always kind and compassionate. I felt at peace knowing my mother was safe and taken care of at Brookdale.

We chose Brookdale Owasso because of the convenience, we felt like the facility was well organized, and when you walked in it smelled very clean. This facility is also an "aging place", so we will never have to move her. My favorite part about Brookdale so far is the nurse, she is fabulous. She is always very helpful with my mom and she helps us out by talking to the doctors for us, she is engaged with what is going on. They are still doing some activities here such as crafts and bingo and they have had no cases of COVID. I would absolutely recommend it.

We chose Brookdale because of the location. She is able to see their house from her room here. Also the reviews and I liked it when I was reading about it. My mothers room size is really good, her room actually looks over the lake so she has a best view. The best part about the community so far has been the way they have handled COVID and their communication throughout it. They just go above and beyond and we have been very impressed. I would absolutely recommend.

On the tour we thought this community was very clean, it is a bit pricey. They do offer some activities like bingo, exercise classes and book clubs. They used to bring in live entertainment into the lobby before the virus came, they would take little outings. The friendliness of the people there stood out to us, the lobby is big with big glass windows. We were pleasantly surprised that the one bedroom was a nice size. Our loved one likes the food, she says the food is really good!

If we could give the staff members a ten out of ten we would, they were very efficient with getting everything started and rolling. The rooms at this community are really good, and the food that they served was overall okay.

The activities were suspended due to the pandemic. I would recommend this community. Overall this has been a good experience for my mother. Brookdale tries to make sure the residents are taken care of during these trying times. The food is liked by loved one.

Westover Hills is a good place. The accommodations are very nice, environment feels cozy. The people that work there are very helpful and willing to assist. The location is good for my family. My loved one hardly complains about the food.

We chose Brookdale Santa Barbara Cape Coral because every time I drove by and saw ads I said that is where I want him to be at. They also had come down on price so it was affordable. The room sizes are good for his needs. The food is excellent, he eats everything he gets. The meals are chef prepared. The only reason I gave a lower score on the care services was because sometimes when we go in there he is not shaven and his hair and nails are grown too long. But, when I bring it up to them they fix it right away. I would absolutely recommend.

We know our loved one is very happy there, and from our understanding our loved says the cleanliness is good. The friendliness of the staff members is very good. The care services are good, but currently what they are lacking is having a bus service come and take them to the store and their doctors appointments. Our loved one does a bible study, so he is very happy with the activities.

Really liked this place. Everything all on one floor. [name removed] was very pleasant and could tell she cares for the patients there. Liked the outside part also because mom is an outside person. Cost is just a bit high for us.

Loving staff and atmosphere!

We chose Brookdale Monrovia because everybody was so friendly during our visit, the staff members as well as the residents. It seemed more bright and cheery rather than some others that we saw. My mom said she felt comfortable and did not want to look anywhere else. She is in a larger room and she thinks it is the perfect size for her needs, she also has a balcony so she is able to get some fresh air. The staff is really trying to keep residents busy with activities since the restrictions have opened up some. They do things like exercises classes, site seeing, crafts, etc. My mom always mentions how nice everyone is. They truly go above and beyond for their residents. They have a new executive director and she does zoom calls with families every week about updates inside the community and what is going on, she always keeps us informed. I would recommend.

I can’t thank [name removed] their sales manager enough for her patience, help and dedication. My mother was talked into moving to a terrible facility who made lots of promises and then didn’t care for her. With [name removed]'s help, we got Mom to rehab and finally to Brookdale where my mom is doing better than ever. Everything she said she would do has happened, and there were no promises unkept at Brookdale. [name removed] advocated and still does everything she can to help our family. Total opposite of our previous experience. She has a heart of gold. Thank you!
