Brookdale

We chose Brookdale because of the proximity and I liked the way they priced their services. I also got confidence when talking with the staff members. This facility is strictly memory care and not an organization that handles a multitude of residents, and with my wife needing care for dementia I knew they would be tuned into her specific needs. They have been excellent with communication and I am very pleased with the quality of care that my wife is receiving here. I would recommend to others looking.

I am supported by [names removed]. There is one other you woman that has walked me back to see my mom as well and she too has been very sweet. The communication has been excellent even with COVID and they report any changes or incidents immediately. they are quick to respond and follow up. Often when I speak with my mom someone is there helping her. I feel very fortunate to have them for all my mom's needs and support.

A great atmosphere among residents. Caring staff. Very clean and beautiful renovations. Very versatile activities for everyone.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The community is so good, loving, and kind to the residents and families. I had a friend recommend Brookdale to me, so I wanted to recommend them to others. The communication has been very good, by email or the front desk. We have had some Zoom meetings as well.

We chose Brookdale Attleboro primarily for the value for the money as well as the familiar location. The room sizes here are definitely adequate for what he needs. They have been good with communication, they send newsletters via email to update the families. I think they are very accommodating and they were quick with their response time if we ever called. My dad really liked it here and I would recommend them to others looking.

We chose Brookdale Olympia East because it is a smaller community, there are under 100 residents here so the care is very personalized and it is family oriented feeling. The room sizes here are great, they all have nice views as well. The meals here are chef prepared and they have a menu with a few choices to choose from for each meal, my mom enjoys them. They have done a great job during covid with keeping the residents safe and well cared for. I would recommend to others who are looking.

My friend has been very happy here. They provide a bus service to the grocery store and to doctors appointments that she has been utilizing so it does give her some independence. It is hard to rate just because of covid I have not been able to go inside. I would recommend to others looking.

You can rest assured that while you are not there, the staff is taking care of your loved one. I was unable to go into the facility for over a year, and when I went in and was able to see my loved one, everything was tidy and in order. She was in as good of a condition as I would have expected. When I couldn't go in, sometimes it was a struggle to get feedback on what was going on, due to Covid. But I understand why - they were trying to keep my loved one safe. I would definitely recommend to others.

As a VA Fiduciary for my Father and healthcare surrogate for both my parents and my wife's parents I take all their needs to include medial care availability & comfort seriously. I make quarterly visits to other locations near by in comparing cost, cleanliness, activities and amenities along with staff availability, friendliness, interactions with the guests and to those that reside there in looking for the best quality care that can be provide for them in regards to their current needs in both medical and comfort. I've got to say that I'm Very Happy and Comfortable in having their Home at Brookdale Melbourne. I'm very Grateful to the entire Staff at Brookdale Melbourne as I found each and everyone of them approachable and caring in our interactions and with our parents. I'm very impressed in how well & close the Management Team and Staff work together in making this truly feel like a Home. We love each and every one of them for it. We weren't there long, so I didn't meet much of the staff. But everyone I met was very nice, friendly, and helpful. They were very wiling to help out and do whatever was needed. My loved liked the floorplan - there was lots of storage space and closet space, which was very important to her. They kept the apartments nice and clean, as well as the common areas. My loved one also really enjoyed the food.

The staff at Brookdale Dowlen Oaks goes above and beyond for their residents. Their facility is clean and offers many different activities for the residents to participate in. I would recommend them over and over!

I would recommend the community if you have the money. The stand out is the staff who seem to really care. The communication is great and they are always calling with updates on my loved one. My loved one has more food than he knows what to do with. He is able to pick what he wants and send the rest back.

We loved the Brookdale Stuart community. We would absolutely recommend them to others. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff members really stood out to us. They were always very accommodating. Most of the time the meals were good, but our loved one sometimes did not like them. But the activities were very good.

They're just awesome. When I first came, I asked a lot of questions. And there are so many employees who have been here for years, including the director. The last place I was in, there were six executive directors in a year. This one is just wonderful, they're organized, it's a nice setting, and everything is very well kept. The food is great, and I've gained some pounds. There is a lot going on, several things every single day. There is no comparison, this is a much better place and a much better value.

My loved one seems very happy here. Most days she seems to think she's part of the staff. She's always smiling. The staff is very kind to her. The director is amazing, and has been so great with my loved one. She made the check-in process so seamless, it was like a miracle. We haven't been able to visit due to Covid, but when we moved in it looked spotless.

We chose Brookdale West Orange because they have higher ceilings in the units so they feel much larger and the sales lady who mom connected with her from the beginning, she was very helpful. They were really good with communication, they started weekly family zoom calls to touch base and answer any questions that we had. There were some tremendous staff members here who truly treated my mom like an angel and she built some great relationships. Especially her two nurses, they became like family to us and were outstanding. She raved about the food, the chef here calls himself the food doctor. I would absolutely recommend.

We chose Brookdale Eddy Pond East because of the location, positive reviews that I read online, and the staff members here are wonderful. The administrative staff are amazing, especially the director. I have had a couple of issues with medications and was told I was not able to come in. I do have to manage her medications and if I call the director, she tells me to just go and is very supportive. I am disappointed in the food especially for what they are paying. The quality is not good, it is mostly canned and frozen foods rather than fresh, and the portions are small. That is their only complaint. I have such peace of mind having both of my parents here and I would absolutely recommend them.
