Brookdale

Everything is working out very well for my dad at Brookdale Tamarac Square.

The tour was good, and the residents were very happy to speak with me and let me know they were happy here. This is a top notch community, and the staff treat us wonderfully. The food is gourmet like and the community has a chef and a sous chef. The community has already hired a new activities director, and there are at least 150 activities offered a month. The new activities director has already asked the residents what additional activities they would like to see incorporated. They offer exercise classes each day. They have different counseling groups for the residents to join. Everything I need to feel good is available at Brookdale. I have no complaints about the food, activities, or anything about the community. The maintenance requests are handled promptly.

She was looking for a smaller, homey community where she could really get to know people and that is what Brookdale was, they were excellent here. It was clean, tidy, and the room was suitable. They had an enclosed courtyard and she could access it anytime she wanted which was a major plus. The staff were extremely accommodating and understanding with our situation. They knew all of their stuff and were quick with their response time. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

I was pleasantly surprised how great Brookdale is compared to some of the other communities I toured and saw. The activities that the residents have to choose from, is wonderful. My loved one feels at home already and has been here for a short amount of time. There are three meals a day served and the residents have choose of meals. My loved one is very pleased with the food, and it is very good from when I have eaten here.

They got us in right away and were very accommodating. They were very patient with my father-in-law, which I found great because he can be repetitive and anxious sometimes. They are very good with him, and he seems to be more at ease now that he's got a place of his own. When I toured the place they had so many different activities and rooms that provided different experiences for the residents; and I really liked that. The staff doesn't seem overwhelmed and that's a big problem for other places. He's got his freedom back, and is able to stay in place there as he transitions to memory care in the future. They already have a place for him when that time comes, which is exactly what I was looking for. Overall I would recommend Brookdale Geary Street to others. In addition to Brookdale: A place for Mom REALLY helped me out at a time that was really hard for me because I was taking care of him and he's very anxious. [name removed] really helped me through a tough time. I have also recommend people to APFM. I've run into people who are looking for senior living, and I've pointed them in APFM's direction because they have helped me tremendously.

Our Loved One has lived at Beckett Meadows for 10 months. Initially, there was a period of adjustment, as we expected, and she required PT, OT & SP therapies, all of which she was able to receive on site. We have received excellent support from the Sales Manager, who was our initial contact with the community. There were management changes during this period, which were needed., but the consistency of day-to-day care for residents was admirable. Our Loved One now tells us regularly how friendly everyone is, how nice & kind the caregivers are to her, and how she thinks this is the best place for her to be. Having freedom to travel and address business responsibilities, while knowing that her needs will be met and that she is content, means everything to us. When there are any concerns, we know who to contact to achieve resolution. We have found that this is a place where we can be a part of our Loved One's caregiving team, focused on creating the best environment and care for her.

We toured Brookdale Lake Ridge and we liked it. We chose another community because of the minimum stay for respite care. Brookdale has a required minimum of 30-90 days; whereas the community we chose allowed my loved one to stay for only 2 weeks.

Just wanted to remark what an excellent staff you have in the Clare Bridge (memory care) unit. Each time I visit I notice one or more of them going out of their way to help and comfort the residents, most of whom need lots of assistance. No one is ever just sitting in a corner ignored. The staff are patient, friendly, kind, and helpful whenever I have a concern. It's a hard job and very stressful, especially these days. So thanks. You are appreciated.

We chose Brookdale Belle Meade primarily because of the ability to transition from assisted living to two different levels of memory care all within the same facility. The staff members are very personable, involved, and make us feel like our dad is really the only one there. I would absolutely recommend them to others looking.

The staff here are wonderful. They are very hard-working, attentive, and overall just very pleasant to work with. We are very happy with our experience.

I chose Brookdale Chambrel Williamsburg because I have family down here close by and my mother lived here for almost 10 years after my father passed so I was very familiar with the facility. They have a considerable range going from a 1 bedroom apartment to 2 bedrooms and they also have cottages separate from the main building. I have a one bedroom with a den and it is a great size for me. It has a lot of natural light and a screened in porch. It is a very convenient location in terms of shopping. It is right near a main drag of drug stores, grocery stores, etc. It is a historic area and so there is a lot to do. I was able to move in very quickly and the move in process was very easy and they were accommodating. I would recommend them to others looking.

We had a very good tour experience with Brookdale Sikes Lake. We thought the facility itself was very nice and they gave a really good tour. We liked what we saw, but unfortunately they did not have any availability for respite stay at the time.

They did a great job of getting us in here and helping us with our unique situation. The staff seem to genuinely care about my mother and they have been welcoming. She felt right at home from the start. Mom has been very happy and I feel happy to have her here. I would recommend Brookdale Grandon Farms to others

I have lived at Brookdale for one year and am very pleased and happy to be here - the food is delicious, staff is very helpful and courteous, and take care of our needs. When my daughter had surgery she was able to stay in my room for several days. I will and would recommend Brookdale to my friends and family.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The community made it super easy and were very helpful during the process of getting my loved ones into the community. Emily was a great help during the process as well. The food is good and well balanced. My loved ones have said the food could have more seasoning, and we realize this is a personal preference. It would be helpful if the staff could supervise the residents that need more care, to allow my other family member to be able to live more independent than caring for the other family member in the community.

We looked at 26 different communities when our loved one was diagnosed with Alzheimer's - most of the other communities did not have the capability of being able to treat our loved ones disease. Right when we came to Brookdale Crown Point we were amazed - it does have some age to it but it feels more like a comfortable home. There are only 38 beds in it and it is kept extremely clean. It is very well laid out to where the staff can have eyes on all the residents in any direction. The gathering areas open up to a garden which is so nice and it is safely secured. They also have three separate dining areas where they sit people together based on their skilled levels - that way no one is feeling alone or uncomfortable or embarrassed. Their memory care program is incredible, it helps bring down their stress levels which will reduce their confusion and enhance their life. The compassion that comes from the staff is unbelievable. We would highly recommend Brookdale Crown Point community to any family

Our family had an in person tour and it was top of our list but at the time it was just not going to fit our loved ones needs

Brookdale Punta Gorda Isles really makes everyone feel like family! It is small and has a home feel right as you walk in. The staff is very attentive, friendly, caring, and helpful. You feel welcome, and for me it feels like I'm going to visit my grandfather at his resort! He is so happy and thriving! It's the true fountain of youth. The staff cares for your family like their own. [name removed] has helped solve so many issues for my family. They really listen to the family and follow up! We feel so blessed to have gained this family! Especially while I'm in Maine, they make sure I see my grandfather's amazing smile. [name removed] sets up FaceTime calls for us and helps us through the technology. She also posts amazing updates on Facebook and the FIELDTRIPS!!! Wow! I truly wish I could move in! Ten stars, highly recommend!!! Thank you to all the staff, your love radiates and shines! You are changing lives!

Brookdale Punta Gorda is a smaller assisted living community located in beautiful Punta Gorda Isles. Residents get more one on one attention and they seem more like family to each other. The staff is kind and caring and they go above and beyond to make the residents feel comfortable and happy. The staff also works well with home health agencies and hospice care to ensure their residents get the best care possible.

Care is great. Our family has been very happy. Safe, Clean, good care, smaller place. Good choice for mom. They made it very easy to have a solid safe plan.
