Brookdale

I agree with the list below. I am not pleased with the 10% rent raise. A little high for me. Might have to move in with my kids again.

Community is a nice size, I know all my neighbors. This community is like my extended family.

The Best Memory Care In The USA: A bold statement to make, but my perspective comes from knowing all the ppl that have worked there the last 20 years. But I also never knew my mom would be there some day. So my perspective went from knowing the people there to becoming a client with my Mom. Reliability, the entire management team most of have been there over a decade or more. They work as a strong but caring team. What I have seen over the years and now as a client. Is my mom is treated with dignity, kindness. And in a very caring way. The food there is the best you will find anywhere. And you will not find a more dedicated team of managing and caring individuals anywhere. If you want to place your loved one in a Facility? This is not for you. If you want to see a loved one in a place they are loved, and kept safe and respected on this new Journey? Then Brookdale Roseburg is where they can feel and call it home. My mom told me just the other day. She was home there.

I cannot say enough about the staff, the beautiful environment & the care! I live in AZ, Dad in OR. I called [name removed], The Director & told her of my father's decline & my concern that he wouldn't go but he was more than my sister & I could take care of any longer. I did a FaceTime with her so she could show me the beautifully remodeled facility with a saltwater aquarium, gorgeous piano, amazing security, gardens, etc. She went out THAT DAY to see my Dad, took him food & did so much more by having a discussion with him while a nurse evaluated Dad. She was kind, made him laugh & called me immediately after. I couldn't get ahold of my Dad's dr to write the orders to get Dad moved, so [name removed - director] called & was able to get the orders. I so appreciated that proactiveness as I felt Dad would not have survived as he declined so quickly. [Name removed - director] personally moved him immediately while I hopped on a plane to OR. The transition was more than I ever expected. The entire staff is loving to my Dad as is [name removed - director]!

It is a beautiful place. it's like a resort, very fancy and high quality.

Our family had an in person tour and there were some positives we took away - we felt that we received individualized attention and the director did a good job. It is an older facility and the rooms were just not up to par with what we were wanting for our loved one - they really needed some renovations.

Caregivers kind and responsive. Food was good and ample but institutional to meet everyone's needs. Covid screening sufficient and protocols adhered to policy. They care about their residents personally.

Value for cost is 5+ we booked during a special pricing which is permanent.

This is a wonderful place to put your loved one, that would need this type of care. The staff communication is good with the family. They are responsive to the family's questions and concerns. Some of the activities include outings for the residents. My loved one says that the staff are so good to me here. The community has a hair stylist that comes to the community once a week to do the residents hair. My loved one seems to enjoy the food offered in the community as well.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a great tour experience they me with us and answered our questions, but once we left there was never any follow up which was disappointing

It's a very clean place with a staff that has been in place for a number of years. They are very conscientious and they all seem to know who my person is and what they've been up to during the day. They volunteer that to me, I don't have to ask. It doesn't matter what status or what part of the facility they work in, they take great care of her. I can't speak highly enough of the people there.

The villas are a great option for those who want to maintain their independence, yet need a little more help with meals and home maintenance.

A nice and comfy place. Your mom feels at home here with their great support.

They are very friendly and they know all of the residents by name. They make a real effort to get them to join in on things, even if they don't want to right away. They make an effort to make their lives better and get them involved.

Cant begin to tell you how much this staff goes out of their way for my father {and us, the family). They have all been personal yet professional from the very get go! They feel like family and I'm thrilled that we chose Brookdale Punta Gorda for my dads residence. The facility always looks clean and the rooms are nice. If you are considering an assisted living arrangement for yourself or a family member go in for a consult and meet everyone. I am thrilled with the care and compassion from this fine group of folks

My mother has been at Brookdale PGI for 3 months and loves it. She has always been very independent and was very reluctant to go into any type of facility, but after a serious fall it was obvious she could not live by herself any longer. She quickly made friends with several residents and was thrilled by the attention she receives from all of the staff. We attended an event there yesterday where they invite the families to come in and meet with the staff and residents. It was wonderful to see 40+ residents sitting around eating (the food was delicious), laughing and genuinely having a great time. Their chef [name removed] came over to talk with my mom and her face lit up. I was afraid she would "give up" when she got to Brookdale, but she is in better spirits now then she has been for quite awhile

My husband's mother was at Brookdale Punta Gorda Isles for only one month and then sadly passed away. We cannot give high enough ratings to Brookdale and the entire staff for the wonderful treatment they gave our mother. The director and his staff were always available to us and always there to help us with any questions/concerns, etc. We highly recommend Brookdale to those in need of an assisted living situation.

Brookdale is a pretty good place. They seem to care, my loved one is a very hard assisted living patient, and they are going above and beyond.

The care is pretty good. It's a very clean community, including the rooms. They were very proffessional. I feel like, they really get to know the residents and they really care. My loved ones didn't really take advantage of the activities bu tthey did offer them. It is fairly pricey but the care/caring of the staff is good value. The staff is really caring, and there is no value that you can put on that. Overall, I picked this place for safety and supervison for my loved ones.
