Brookdale

Excellent service, friendly staff, maintenance extremely helpful, and overall good company. The food quality could be better but it is healthy. As far as activities go I feel there could be more, but they are beginning karaoke and that has been good! I would absolutely recommend Brookdale Corpus Christi to others looking for independent living. It is overall great place and I am happy to be here with my little dog. I am provided with a small fenced backyard. The only independent assisted living place that has that in my area.

Brookdale has been so wonderful as a Community. My Mom is thriving there. She is always so busy with activities and exercise and has made so many friends. Since my Dad passed, my sisters and I were so worried about Mom making the transition from Florida back North to New Jersey. Brookdale welcomed her with opened arms and welcomes Family members to be involved in all activities as this helps supporting our loved ones. Mom loves her new home and it is truly a Community oriented environment.

My father is a very new resident (two weeks) however his stay has been awesome. He has fit in so well here. Making new friends and acquaintances. The entire staff from the cheerful ladies at the desk, the medical staff to the Sales Manager and to the Executive Director. Everyone is so genuinely helpful! I couldn’t imagine my father anywhere else.

This was a hard journey for my family. So many questions and options! Are we making the right choice? Brookdale Salisbury was our first visit. It felt like family as soon as we walked in. Everyone was so nice, but it was our first place, so we moved on. After 4 more locations I was in disbelief. None of the other locations even came close to the feeling we had at Brookdale. To make sure, I made an unscheduled visit with my other sibling. I wanted to see if she got the same feeling as my brother and I did on our first visit! She felt it as soon as we walked in. The part I wasn’t ready for was that the staff not only asked about the needs for our father, but asked how they could help us. They guided us, provided support and never pressured us. A group of residents were in the bistro area visiting and watching tv. They greeted us, asked if we were touring. Then out of the blue one says ”This is home and the staff really really cares.” That’s how we feel!!

We’ve had an excellent experience. People have been extraordinarily kind, helpful, supportive and informative. We get emails often from staff about my mother, and we get phone calls when there have been problems. I like the facility because it is small, and the community is solid. The staff and the director have been there for a while, and that’s important too. And they post picture updates often on their Facebook page so that I can see my mother and how she’s doing. They’ve helped us with medical paperwork and been really wonderful so far. I know my mother is getting good care in the memory care facility.

The main reason we chose Brookdale Norman was because it was near our family. Mom is also able to stay after she declines further and will not end up in a nursing home. It's a small place. They do try to please the residents and accommodate them as best as they can. The staff works very hard. I would recommend Brookdale Norman to others.

5 stars all the way around. What sticks out most about Brookdale Foundation House is the staff. They are all very caring, friendly and answer your questions in a timely manner. The grounds are beautiful and the apartments have a great layout to them. Also there is no foul smell! The only thing we smell is good food. I would absolutely recommend Brookdale and always do.

We cannot comment on the care services as I did not require much care other than therapies which were great. When it comes to the meals and the 3 star rating, they serve a pot of fish. Also cannot comment on the activities as I didn't do any. They can definitely improve on the food. As to the community, it's kind of hard to say because it was really hard for her to fit in right off the bat, like for meals it's kind of like high school. No one wanted to give up a seat. But when she got in with some new ladies that came in it was great. She was much more involved. Enjoyed getting out of her room. Therapies were great.

My Parents have been residents of Bend Brookdale since 2021. When they moved in we were promised resident activities and outings. Unfortunately they were not happening. We were considering moving our parents to another facility as we were seeing a decline in there social interactions. We have changed our minds on the move with the hiring of the new executive director [name removed]. She has hired [name removed] as activities director. I have had the pleasure of seeing Emily in action. I participated in the writing of Easter cards and stuffing Easter eggs with treats with my parents.I also attended a Mother’s Day celebration. [name removed] is so kind and patient to each and every resident. She plans activities that all residents love to attend. It warms my heart to see everyone gathered in the community area participating with smiles on their faces. My dad was an avid hunter. I received a photo of my parents and their neighbor with nerf guns. My family loves the updates and photos. [name removed] is a blessing !!!

We looked all over Los Angeles for a place for my father-in-law and are so fortunate to have found this place! The staff is friendly and welcoming. The facility and the grounds are clean and beautiful. The apartment he is in is bright, and everything is new and perfect. He just loves it there. The food is excellent (3 meals per day) and he can have guests dine with him. Could not recommend this place enough!

Broodkale Canyon Lakes independent living provides very complete services. Meals are quite good, and the facility is modern. Everything works almost all the time.

We are very pleased!! It is a better value for similar facilities. I would highly recommend it. They offer activities such as; Bingo, Bible study, many performances by choirs, bands, etc. Filed trips to restaurants, farmers markets, museums, picnics, etc.

My mother lives at Brookdale Lakeway in the Memory Care Unit. The facility is very nice and well kept. The staff is amazing, especially the staff in Clare Bridge. [name removed], at the front desk, is so helpful. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and welcoming to family when visiting! I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

My sister is a resident at Brookdale Farmers Branch and everything has been great for her here at this place. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The staff and the care services are good. The food is okay. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

We toured Brookdale Sugar Land when searching for Memory Care for our loved one. This facility was great! They answered all of my questions and really seemed to care about their residents. They had a low turnover rate with their employees, which is a great sign. They also offered lots of activities.

The Mother’s Day celebration was absolutely amazing! Great food, fun conversations, and the music was so enjoyable! The staff were all helpful and nice. Wonderful atmosphere and fun celebration for all the mothers. The program manager at Brookdale Bend has made a huge impact on this community in such a short time! She deserves every bit of recognition for how hard she works and how much she does for each resident.

This facility is a top notch facility. The facility is well maintained. The staff are very caring and compassionate. They keep up with her health as well as her overall happiness. This was the perfect place for my mom.

Overall, my mother's care is very good. The people here are very responsive and helpful. The management team is caring and pitches in. It seems like they have high standards and expectations. There are 2 caregivers my mom had had that are excellent. Sometimes we get non regular and that is when the quality slips a lot. Note: Overall and Care Services would have been a 5 but the only people I interact with a lot is the aides. The regular 2 aides are 5, but not the fill in.

Overall I am very happy with the community and staff. My wife loves it here.

My experience with Brookdale has been very good. I would suggest Brookdale to anyone for senior living.
