Brookdale

I have been so pleased with the care and concerns of all the staff towards the residents. The staff looks out for the residents and attempts to get them involved in activities and makes sure their needs are met. I'm very satisfied with Dad's care here.

[name removed] is so special. She loves people, and they love her. She has so much spunk and energy, and such an ability to make you feel so important! I love her.

Our experience at Brookdale has been very good. All the staff are very kind, knowledgeable, caring, and always have time to answer our questions and keep us well informed how our family member is doing.

From the minute you walk in, you feel the difference at Brookdale North Boulder. It seems like you are on a long standing tour of a cruise ship that is docked. Amenities galore for residents and guests alike, you cannot go wrong with this choice!

I am in charge of the care for a family member who because of a serious chronic condition cannot live alone. I have looked at many senior residences. Brookdale MacArthur Park is welcoming and supportive - a true community. From my initial work with the Sales department to move our family member into the facility (from another state, during the difficult COVID period,) to everyday interface with staff at the front desk, the business offices, the activities coordinator, medical /personal care staff, and up to the Director herself, our experience has been very positive. Staff are friendly and caring. They truly take initiative and go out of their way to help. It's impressive that the Director regularly asks for feedback from residents about conditions and care at Brookdale. Dining room food selections are very good and there are lovely spaces for the regularly planned social activities and family gatherings. We feel lucky to have found Brookdale MacArthur Park.

My mom has been in assisted living facilities for the past 10 years. This memory care facility is the best we have seen! The staff and care givers put the residents care at top priority. They have a lot of patients to care for them/talk to them at their level. Activities coordinators are amazing!

My sister was moved to Brookdale East Mesa because she has Alzheimer's and dementia. We needed her placed somewhere that was a locked facility as we were afraid of her wandering away. The staff made the move in so easy, the facility is lovely and medical attention is just what she needed/ We truly rest easy knowing she is in a lovely place that is safe for her. We are so glad we found Brookdale.

My mom has very happily lived at this Brookdale location for over 6 years now. She loves the staff and her friends who live there. Her needs are tended to and I always get a call of extra reassurance about her well being or status if she is sick. I know I can depend on the nurses for updates on her care.

My wife has early onset Alzheimer's and has lived at Brookdale for three years. I am most impressed with the skills, knowledge, and kindness demonstrated by the staff. They all know her by name, habits, and disposition. They always greet me by name, with a friendly hello and offer an update on her. The nursing staff answer any questions I have about her, her meds, and her health and well-being. They are earnest and honest in their communication with me. If something happens that is out of the ordinary, I get a call right away. In my three years with Brookdale, I know that my wife is safe, happy, well cared for. And that leaves me satisfied knowing she is okay. I looked at several places just prior to Covid, and Brookdale was the best fit for her. And for me.........

It's an excellent facility and they'll have helped my mother immensely. We picked this community, because of the location, and transparency. It's a great place. Mom is happy there and they take good care of her. I would recommend to others.

From the moment my family and I stepped into Brookdale Southfield, the staff were friendly and welcoming. They made a great first impression and made us feel safe and confident moving my 98 year old grand mother into their facility. The communication with the family is great, ComeforCare is attentive and consistently responsive. The meals are filling and tasty. I would absolutely recommend this facility to others.

Thinking about memory care really scared my family. Mom was really cared for here. The director Sarah is wonderful, and the goodness just flows down from the top. I miss my mom so much every day and also thank the team for their support in my prayers every night, thank you again!!!!

My mother lives here and loves it! She didn’t want to leave her home but now she is so happy and can’t imagine being anywhere else. Everyone is so friendly, kind and caring! She is involved in many activities and stays active and yet can still be as private as she wants. She also loves her apartment. The extra services are a huge bonus too! I highly recommend Brookdale Hawthorn Lakes in Vernon Hills!

We picked this community, for my loved on because of the way it was set up. It was the best place out of all the ones we visited. The sales manager [name removed] is the BEST!

We took a tour of Brookdale Pinehurst while searching for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. This facility was great! The staff and value for cost were great. The cleanliness and friendliness were also great!

As far as the question about food my brother complains a lot. He says the rest of the people he is around do not like it either. He thinks what they have left over one day is served the next day. It's really hard for me to make this judgment since I'm not there every day. They are very accommodating and helpful when there are problems. Definitely friendly to the residents.

Staff is always friendly, professional and engaging with all the residents. Residents are encouraged to participate with activities throughout the day. I’ve seen residents enjoy baking, gardening or walking the courtyard.

I found the staff to be friendly and engaging with the residents. The open floor plan was nice with the indoor atrium giving so much natural light. It had a home atmosphere very inviting. Everyone seemed happy and well cared for at this community.
