Brookdale

This community has a nurse and doctor on call twenty four hours a day. The staff are pretty good. They have a good attitude and there is quite a number of caregivers. They take good care of mom. The food is good and they offer daily activities. This is a clean well taken care of community.

I wish she was more social.I spoke with her yesterday and let know that they offer shuttle services and she wasn't aware. They do encourage her to be more involved but it is up to her. She complains about the food and says there isn't enough options. I chose this community because it is close to home and they gave the best impression.

I am so glad we found this community. Mom's roommate has become her best friend. She likes the food and the community is kept clean. The staff are encouraging, very empathetic, caring, assisting, friendly and compassionate. They offer daily activities and this is in a good location for us. I have already recommended this community.

This seemed like a nice community when I visited. The people I met were nice. They offer daily activities and allow pets. The community is close to a bus line. The community we choose just seemed like a better fit.

The people at this community were very nice and accommodating. The community was small and we were looking for a bigger community. Our fear is that dad would not be able to find anyone if he needed help.

The Brookdale Medical Center Kingsley was a very nice place and everyone was so nice and friendly. The tour guide gave us a lot of helpful information while we were there. What we did not like, was the fact that the place was much smaller than we wanted.

My 92-y-o mother is there respite with a broken ankle until she can come home and get around on her own without a wheelchair. She says the food is good and mostly the staff is good but it is assisted living and many times when she rings for help it is a while before anyone responds.

The Brookdale Spruce Wood was a very nice place. The staff was all friendly and the tour guide was knowledgeable. We chose another community because of personal preference.

We really liked the offering - great service options, great activities, great people we met on the tour. The only reason not a 5 star is that the common area furniture felt dated, which may work for lots of folks but just didn't click for our mom.

This was the first place we toured and my mother loved the lady who showed us around. She was upbeat, friendly and answered all our questions. She loves the amount of space in her studio, it's large enough to be comfortable but not too much and doesn't overwhelm her. The staff encourages her to participate in activities but she is still adjusting. I ate there for lunch one day and was amazed, I thought the food was very good. She is a little more picky than I am. They do offer a variety of options during meal time though. The reason I scored them a four is I think some of the caregivers could have a better understanding of the elderly and could show more compassion.

[Removed] met me at the door!He was well prepared and knowledgeable, my questions were answered to my satisfaction. A little older building with great updates! Clean and also well cared for. Location was perfect, but the suites available were too big.

My dad was here for a 3 week respite until an availability was open for a different community. From my RN perspective, i liked this community. The staff were attentive and the facility is very nice and almost new. It felt like a good fit for him because it was a farmer community and he had people he could relate to and he made some friends while there. I was satisfied with his care for his respite.

My grandma seems to like living at this community. She has told me she likes the staff and the food is good. They keep the community clean. They offer daily activities and I would recommend this community.

I had a good tour of this community, I toured it for my father, and his needs. Everything went well. The staff was friendly, and kind to my family, and myself. The experience was a nice one. I didn't have any problems during my tour of this community.

This is a wonderful community, and my tour of it went very well. The community looked great, everything was very neat, and tidy. Everyone was very kind my family, and myself. Everything went well, but unfortunately they were unable to take my father in the condition he was in at the time.

My mom is doing great and she is all moved in. She is loving her apartment, it seems like new and it has a washer and dryer inside. The maintenance staff has been great at being prompt when something needed to be fixed and they are respectful and kind to all the residents. The community is a lovely place with very nice staff. The dining experience could be a little better. She was not able to eat from the open kitchen once and when she asked for a spoon they did not bring one. The meals are good but the service can be better. We picked this community because she was at a Brookdale in Texas, we were able to transfer the community fee to this location.

My mother moved here and things are going well. She lived in another senior community and this one is so much better.They have many people on hand and they are compassionate. She has attended the events they offer and is adjusting well. I chose this community because many friends and loved ones told me about them. Since we had gone through this process before I asked many questions and they were forthcoming with information. They provided a schedule of activities they offer and their menu.

This is a nice community, and my dad is still adjusting with his move here. It is a really nice facility, and I'am comfortable with him living here. The staff has been great with helping him get adjusted, and they have very kind. They do a good job keeping everything nice, and clean. The experience has been a good one so far.

It has been a good experience for my mother since her move to this community. They have nice, professional staff at this community. So I know she is receiving good care, and in a good facility. They have nice activities available for the residents when they are ready to participate. They do serve well balanced meals. This is a community I would recommend, it has worked out well for us.
