They really took very good care of my Dad when he was old and frail. The caregiver was very helpful and caring.

She takes care of me, she takes me to the store, she helps me with everything needed. She helped me gain weight and get healthy. She helps me cook all my meals, I just have to season it to my liking. I could replace her as a caregiver.

And I know that in the short time they knew him, they developed a real connection with him, and were sad when he passed. [name removed] even came to the house before their official start date when my daughter and I were in a panic because of unforeseen circumstances-- and he calmly helped us take care of the situation. They were always very dependable, letting us know if they were going to be a few minutes late because of traffic. They were also always looking for ways the could help the rest of the family

Care in San Diego can definitely be expensive, but overall we were happy with the experience and Home Helpers worked with us on cost as best they could. I was happy with my initial talk with the owner, and upon telling him of our grandfather having served in the military before he past, he was able to offer us a slight discount for being a VA household. The coordination between different caregivers made things smoother for our grandmother and helped maintain consistency in her care. Communication was good and it gave our family more peace of mind knowing coverage and scheduling were being managed well.
