Senior Helpers told me about a grant from Will County that I could apply for and another program with Synapticure no one else had. They have been great. Senior Helpers is an agency that provides in home care. Care givers always prompt.

[name removed] took care of my mother for a short time only because she passed away. She was enthusiastic, engaged and willing to help in any way she could. [name removed] was a delight to work with and was very helpful in getting us help, even on the weekend and holidays.

Amazing care from kind qualified caregivers. Someone will be there, no matter the time if help is needed. Our main caregiver would even take his patients for a ride, to get a cup of coffee, to appointments, or just to get out of the house for a change of environment. Lifelong friend for sure!

They are always helpful and always there for us. Any time I need to rearrange the schedule, they are more than happy to help with advance notice.

She came to our home. She was easy to contact. Very thorough. Great conversationalist. Absolutely recommend!

The care received was very good (5). However, their punctuality was not. Many times they showed up 15 to 30 minutes late and in cases didn't show up at all (2). Probably would not recommend them until they fixed the problem mentioned above.

The best part of working with Seniors Helping Seniors is that they helped us avoid asking too much of my mom's neighborhood friends to volunteer, and they helped us get organized and plan ahead. They were very helpful with a wide variety of tasks and my mom's needs and friendly, and it helped that there weren't many different people but mostly two that usually came, especially in the evenings. It was vital to my mom's safety to have people with her in her home until we could move her into an assisted living facility. I was very sick during that stressful time and couldn't be there with her, also because I have four kids and many responsibilities in my home and community.
