The schedule is consistent and she has the same caregiver every day in Tu, Wed and Th. They've become very close and the caregiver knows my Aunt's routine, places to shop, etc. The Admin staff is reliable in their communication and are so friendly and easy to work with. As my Aunt's mobility improves the caregivers encourage her to walk outside with them, do her physical therapy exercises and provide motivation. And the staff are more than willing to help with any need that arises. My Aunt tells me that she is "really lucky to have them around!

Visiting Angels has done pretty well for us. We only have our Angel two hours per day and after several tries they came up with a person who fits our needs.

I was leaving a company where all their scheduling started being handled in the Philippines. Office contact was extremely difficult. Home Instead does have an employee in the Philippines. I prefer to deal with the office staff and they have been receptive to my preference. The staff they have sent to the house has been extremely good. I have zero complaints, only compliments as to their helpfulness. They are good with my mother who will be 99 this month. I would recommend them.

SHS provided for a need to have a physical presence staying with our loved one during the times when we were sleeping or needed a break. We were very grateful for their presence and dependability. We were disappointed they could not administer his liquid meds. They did not do any helpful cleanup or chores no matter how easy. They literally came and sat. They did have lots of advice and knowledge about the dying process.

Overall, I am satisfied with this Agency. We had a rocky start finding a good fit for my father, but he has now settled in with his aid.

We had a great experience with the home care services. [name removed] was a great caregiver—always on time, dependable, and willing to do whatever we asked to make sure everything was taken care of. We really appreciated his kindness, helpfulness, and dedication. We would definitely recommend him!

Cornerstone Caregiving has been an incredible resource for families looking for compassionate, reliable in-home care. Their team truly takes the time to get to know each client and creates a care plan that fits each family's unique needs. One of the things I appreciate most is their flexibility there are no long term contracts, schedules can be adjusted as needs change, and they don't require a minimum number of hours.

We've had a few miscommunications. Not all of staff know how to do dressing changes.

My Dad is very pleased with the care and attention he receives, as well as the companionship. So far, the experience has been positive.

[name removed] was very caring and attentive to all of my wife [name removed] needs. The first caregiver, [name removed], helped for about a month. Unfortunately, she had to leave, to return to her home country of Brazil for a family emergency. [name removed] of Amada, was able to promptly get a replacement to help [name removed]. All in all, I had a very professional experience with [name removed] and [name removed]. I would highly recommend [name removed], and his company Amada.

Overall it’s been a good experience. There were several caregivers that were exceptional. The only issue we had was some miscommunication about billing practices regarding overtime. They were not clear initially but we figured it out. Still, we asked them to cap the sitters at 40 hours and just rotate more often but there were times we still had someone scheduled more than 40 and ended up paying overtime even when we asked not to have that happen.

Overall I was pleased with the work of the Senior Helpers aides. Unfortunately, the particular needs we had made it difficult to schedule the same aides consistently each week. Those that I interacted with were friendly and competent. We didn't ask much of them as we basically needed someone to be in the house with Dad during the night. Most housekeeping tasks we took care of ourselves during the day. SH did their best to staff the hours we needed as consistently as possible. They communicated with me well, always following up on any requests/questions I had in a timely manner. I would recommend them as a possible resource. I think anyone looking for private duty care needs to interview more than one agency before signing a contract.

Very helpful & always on time. Lots of good ideas to improve my storage of especially everyday clothing.Does laundry as needed. Willing to cook but I have no problem as I’ve always cooked from scratch. Showering has always been a worry about falling, at ease now knowing there’s someone available to help or call for help. Pleased overall with Senior Helpers.

My husband and I are very pleased with the lovely caregiver we have coming in to help my mother in law. While I haven’t met her in person, my husband and MIL were immediately impressed with the Supervisor who came for the meet and greet and her Aide has been in touch with both of us if anything comes up. We’ve tried to give them space to get to know one another and we’re here to offer guidance and support for the daily issues we had faced. It’s lessened the anxiety for both of us since we have someone else in our corner.

First Light was responsive to our inquiry and set up an initial visit within a few days. A care provider was available soon after that first meeting. The provider has been very friendly, helpful and punctual.

Like any company, some of their helpers are better than others. One lady is looking for ways that she can make my life easier by cleaning things I didn’t even ask her to clean and others just to the minimum.

Concerned but unable to provide consistent caregivers with caveats that for only two days a week it is difficult to get coverage. Even after expanding hours from four to eight each of the coverage days, we’ve seen six different faces over the last two months. For a dementia patient that is upsetting.

Right at home has been positive. Their admin staff [name removed] and [name removed] are the nicest ladies I’ve spoken to on the phone. [name removed] who schedules all the aides is attentive and response. I have had a handful of aides help our family and most of them have been an amazing. You always have a few few that need a little more direction but overall, I would recommend right at home to anybody that needs some assistance.

Overall a good experience with Senior Helpers. I had 1 Senior Helper for over 2 1/2 years. They offer great services to assist you with your loved ones. Just make sure that they fit your needs. And get someone who is compatible with the client. You have to be very careful who you choose to care for your family members.

I interviewed a few people the agency sent and found a good fit. We used the company for respite care.
