A broken ankle kept me from moving around. Caregivers had to bring bedside potty chair for over 6 weeks. Did light housekeeping and laundry. Brought me meals. Looked after my dog. Very pleased with care.

Stays with my husband who has Alzheimer’s and cleans my apartment. It’s a win win. The person that comes is very friendly and professional. It gives me a chance to get away for awhile without worrying if my husband is ok.

Very competent and helpful. Pleasant to have with us. Are watchful of the patient, my husband, regarding his care and safety. Volunteer to do what they can to make our situation easier. We both feel very well taken care of whenever they are here.

Visiting angels helped my Mom when she was recovering from a hospital stay. They did a great job helping with daily hygiene and safety getting around the house. I would use them again if needed they give you a piece of mind when you can’t be there.

[Name Removed] was careful with medicines and administering same. She was gentle with bathing duties, as I had a broken arm, shattered shoulder, and a back broken in 2 places. When not attending to my personal needs, she filled in by doing laundry, preparing light meals, and light housekeeping. It was a soothing experience during a trying time.

[Name Removed] at Home Instead was helpful and very kind on my first call with Home Instead Durango. She came to my home to let me know what services they would provide and even suggested certain equipment that may be beneficial for my husband. Our in Home provider is extremely nice and hard working. She is a wonderful person. She is extremely helpful in caring for my husband.

They are very good at their work. Get the same caregiver each day and they'll take him to his appointments. Overall a good choice for him. Also willing to work with you on your hours and the days you need them.

Our provider was very friendly. She was also very helpful. She fixed my husband lunch while I went to my scheduled appointment. When I returned she wanted something to do. She offered to change the bed but it didn't need changing. She folded some laundry for me. The office personnel was very helpful. Answered all my questions. I'm planning to use the company in the next few weeks. I most definitely will use them again.

My experience with Cornerstons has been a success. I always ask for [Name Removed] she is so patient & easy to talk to. This is a wonderful service to those in need. I was hospitalized for a week after breaking my ankle in 3 places. I’m in a no weight bearing cast. [Name Removed] goes extra to help. She takes out the trash, gets mail. The things I can’t do at this time.

The caregivers are reliable—they show up when they’re supposed to and have never left us in a difficult situation by calling off last minute. Brightstar worked with us to cover our needs after my brother had heart surgery. The caregivers always came through even with some challenging weather conditions. It was a great comfort to know someone was there with him initially and the agency was obliging with decreased hours as he recovered.

Hands down, this agency is extraordinary! When looking for an agency to assist my Mom with care giving. [Name Removed] noticed my Dad was a Veteran. So not only the initial interview with them for their service to provide for my Mom but looking into helping my Dad too.[Name Removed] made a separate trip to my parents to help with the VA application. Spent a few hours with us. That’s going above and beyond! And they continue to check in. It’s a process with the VA. I prayed to find the perfect company for my parents. The 3hrs my helper came ,she helped get my breakfast, helped me get into my clothes after surgery, took my little dog for her walks , help my safe entry and exit the shower , and helped with the cooling equipment that helped relieve post surgery pain. She left the kitchen and my bedroom tidy even watered my plants and filled my humidifier, she was a great help,and on time .

Within a day after my first request for a home caregiver, I met the Caregiving Supervisor and soon after, interviewed a wonderful caregiver who met our needs. When there were scheduling issues, Americare sent good substitute caregivers, one of whom we decided we could work with long-term. The Caregiver is attentive to all of my husband’s physical needs, takes my husband on outings, supports me with dishwashing and laundry and taking trash bins out. He helps with any request we’ve had. The agency responds to any call or query in a prompt text and takes care of them. Excellent communication with both agency and our Caregiver. I highly recommend Americare!
