I needed someone to come in daily for my mom when I was on vacation. Duties were to get her meals on wheels from the delivery people, services the meal. Give her daily medication (already sorted out in a weekly pill dispenser), make her tea. Get her snacks. Do laundry as needed. The care giver did a great job!

Getting old and learning to live (or die) with an incurable or debilitating disease presents challenges to patients and their families that are not always recognized or anticipated by the health care system. Providing ambulation aids such as walkers, for instance, is only half the battle if the patient isn’t taught the proper use of the equipment and encouraged to incorporate such safety measures in daily life. It is the human factors of anticipation, expectations, and fear that impact on quality of life just as much as freedom from pain. I found that the contact I have had with my team at Home Instead was the key to my living my life with hope and courage instead of with fear and anxiety. They helped me realize that this was simply another stage of life with its own challenges and rewards. Home Instead has provided a team of caring and knowledgable people who have been willing to conquer the challenges and maximize the rewards.

My Mom has been in and out of the hospital and Home Instead has worked closely with us to ensure she has the care she needs when she needs it. They provide consistent care givers that are the same every week who really know my Mom. I live out of state so their supplemental care gives me peace of mind.

The caregivers very friendly. They are willing to go extra mile. To make your family members feel their needs are taken care of. My mother inlaw is really pleased with her caregiver can not say enough about her. Or any of the others who have assisted in her care. I appreciate all the care is being given. As well as the checking in with me regarding the care.

I called Right at home for both my Parents. My Parents were skeptical to have a new person come into their home and help them with odds and ends in the house and to drive them to and from Doctor appointments, and running general errands. I spoke with [name removed] the owner. What a pleasant conversation. She answered all our questions. We had a staff member come to the house to evaluate my parents and what their needs would be . My Parents liked that they were in control over what they would like done. My Parents were impressed by what Right at home offers and agreed to have a caregiver. “[name removed]” was assigned to them. My Parents are so happy with her! She has been such a blessing for my Parents! We are so happy with Right at home staff members. They are so professional, kind, caring, and very sympathetic & empathetic to my Parents needs. I highly recommend this agency!.

We have had only 2 visits so far from Senior Helpers and it has been very positive. My husband is a quiet man but really enjoyed his caregiver [name removed] assistance and company. Senior Helpers are very flexible with the scheduling and I am grateful for the help.

A place for mom really helped me. The director came out with the girl the CNA she works with her to help me. I was very impressed by that. She just called to check in on me. She’s been a big help. She has a PhD and yet she got right in there helped the CNA give me a shower. I think that’s very commendable.

It was truly a luxury having an aide help me. I didn’t have to depend on Friends or FAMILY or owe anybody any help back [name removed] was kind and friendly and able and helped me with laundry shopping cooking. It was fabulous.

Everything has been great I would recommend them to anyone they are always on time, and their caregiver is wonderful.

I can’t say enough good things about the women who come to care for our mom! [name removed] is just awesome, she brings so much needed energy to mom! Mom absolutely loves her! The women go above and beyond to help her. We are so grateful for the much needed help.

The woman that we have had for the last 6 weeks has been wonderful however they are a little high at [price removed] per hour.

They are great people very caring and compassionate and my wife loved having them come out clear up till the end

So far they have been very accommodating easy to make changes to the schedule and the availability is great.

We’ve been using Amada for round the clock care for our Mom. They did an excellent job with helping her with the long term care insurance claims process. [name removed], their Director of Senior Care knew a lot about Alzheimer’s which helped our family greatly to help with our Mom. Their caregivers have been excellent! Thank you Amada!

The people. From the schedulers ([name removed]) and the ladies for my Daddy's crew, they were all great and couldn't help enough. Unfortunately, Daddy lost his battle [date removed] this year. Some of the girls have come by to check and see my mommy and I. Super sweet.
