Not all the caregivers are equal. We had trouble finding a weekend girl that worked. However Home Instead was very kind and kept changing the weekend girl at our request until we found one that was helpful. I would recommend their services to those looking for home care.

While my friend was initially uncomfortable with the thought of strangers coming into his home, it wasn’t long before the high quality of care and genuine kindness changed everything. I interviewed two other agencies who might have been fine, but primarily because of the caregiver demographic, choosing SHS was an easy decision. acuaid home care has been such a relief and help with my father. I was unable to take care of him at home and even in a memory care facility, he required extra care. They have kept him company, attended to his needs, provided transportation for his doctor’s appointments and basically whatever is asked of them. I definitely recommend them.

After surgery and rehab for a broken hip I was able to return home...only to have my husband leave town the following day. We turned to Home Matters for 24 hour help until he returned and four hours daily for a couple of weeks after. We have never needed in home care before and Home Matters made the experience comfortable. They were professional and caring (all at once). Always punctual and I seldom had to ask for anything...they anticipated my needs. I recommend their services for anyone and everyone.
