A Place for Mom has put us in touch with an agency called Home Instead and they have been great. The intake coordinator came to the house and set everything up after assessing the situation. An aid was scheduled shortly thereafter. The aid and my sister clicked right away and are making good progress with cleaning and decluttering. Additional services are available and will be accessed as needed. We are very pleased with this alternative to a residential facility requiring relocation.

My mom had the most amazing experience with this company. [name removed] was so caring and helpful when navigating the confusing and frustrating world of LTC insurance. Every caregiver that helped my mom was amazing and she was very happy and satisfied. I would highly recommend this service to anyone seeking LTC in northern Michigan for a loved one!

Our experience with Home Instead was amazing. Most of the caregivers who came to our home were caring and compassionate. When possible, they helped clean their home. Most of all, they treated my dad with respect and dignity.

They were so helpful, met with us to go over their services and helped us come up with a plan that worked best. They were so kind and we were thrilled with all they did to help us! We were so grateful to be able to have in home care.

We are extremely happy with the care giver mom has each Wednesday. She looks forward to seeing her each week. Our mother needed a companion for a few hours a week, and this is working very nicely for her. I would highly recommend this organization.

Golden Heart Senior Care in Driftwood, TX is a wonderful company to work with. We have tried other companies in Austin, but none compare to the professionalism and caring from [name removed]and her staff. We have had the same caregiver for 4 years now caring for mom who is a handful. She has several doctor visits a week and can be moody, but [name removed]provided us with tools to help deal with her and frequently stops in to check on her caregiver and mom. We will never use another company, as many send several unqualified caregivers who are unprofessional and poorly trained. We highly recommend this company and are grateful for their caring and support!

They don't send a different person every day. Very consistent. I feel confident leaving my loved one with her caregiver when I go somewhere. Our caregiver really likes her which is nice.

The meals and dining was not applicable as the food was provided by the family. Our loved one was bed ridden so the activities were also not applicable but overall we think the value is fair. Yes, e would recommend there services to other families, [name removed] and [name removed]are very easy to work with .

Visiting Angels of Berea is staffed by caring and dedicated people. Their caregivers are highly skilled and very likable people. They're able to relate to their clients in a clear, considerate, thoughtful way. They are thorough in their daily write ups of clients activities, vital signs and moods. The scheduling ladies have a tough job, but somehow pull it off with a pleasant attitude. They spend a lot of time communicating with the client's family to make sure things are going smoothly.

The directors of the program were amazing and really took the time to answer my questions. They were knowledgeable and made sure that I was comfortable in every aspect of my dad's care. When he passed, they helped with everything but most of all, they called to check in on me. I could tell they really cared about their job, their patients, and their families.

Called them while seeking care for my elderly father. They were very straightforward and helpful, and did a great job of letting me know what to expect from this process. They were ultimately too expensive for us, and after I told them that they connected us with a less expensive agency and informed us about additional community resources that could benefit my dad. Cannot speak to their caregivers or home care services, but they were very helpful to me and my family, and continued to help us even when they knew we couldn't afford their rates. Wanted to share this because it really did make a difference and we are truly grateful.

We just started with Visiting Angels! All of the staff have been very responsive, professional and friendly. I would recommend these services to others.

The company itself and the employees are great, however we tried one care-giver who ended up not meeting their standards and then they had no other caregivers available .

They have provided companionship for our family member. They have gotten her out to functions in the community. They take her grocery shopping and to medical appointments. They provide nutritional meals. They’re great at communicating with us.

The reps are very clear with what their service provides. This service is great for folks who need help around the house or want/need more social interactions. It's not a housecleaning service, but they can help with daily chores. They can also play games and just talk to the resident to stimulate cognition. The employees may vary in terms of amicableness and talkativeness, some may need more direction than others. Regardless, they all seem friendly and willing to help.
