The staff that regularly takes care of our loved ones varies, some are good and some are not. The daily staff would get a three out of five, the administration and head nurse would get a four out of five. Relative to the food, our loved ones just do not like it. When we were able to visit prior to covid we spoke with other residents in the dining hall and they also said they do not like the food. The recently had some staffing changes which caused the food quality to go down even more. Now we have chosen to have food delivered to our loved ones everyday. However, we would still recommend this community.

i think it is a nice place in a nice setting, but the communication has been difficult. He really likes the food. He likes his apartment and he loves the animals that live in the community, they haves cats and birds. We chose this community the care is god, it is smaller, and looks like a home in the community. The caregivers are really nice , very attentive, and keep him clean.

Very nice facility; my only concern for Mom is the transportation to the dining area if there is rain. They will escort them to the dining area or take them food to their living area. Also, they did not have an immediate place for us.

Toured with [Name removed] today. Older property. Under renovations. Similar to Pacifica Palm Springs in that there are multi-resident houses but a main house for dining room, kitchen, nurses station, activities. I would prefer supervision in the same house. I don't think there were resident rooms in the main house.

Although the facilities were lovely and [name removed] a wonderful guide, sadly, I'm not sure that this would be a great fit for my mom.

Staff is helpful, rooms are large, grounds nice.

This facility is in a very beautiful garden setting. However I don t feel this is a good fit for my mom at this time

The facility was always clean. The Staff was very friendly and in constant communication with our family. The staff was extremely proactive with their care. Foothill Retirement also provided transportation which was a big help.

It gave me an institutional feel. I don't like the dining arrangement with all 63 residents eating together with all levels of care. No outings available. Over our budget.

It was good, very nice. We are pretty happy with it. There isn't anything that I can think of that needs to be improved or done better. It is working out so far.

The care is great, my father in law also loves the food, lol, that is important too! They really worked with us to get him into a room that he felt comfy in as well. The only thing I'd caution is to really read your contract, we had told them from the beginning that this would be a 1 to 2 month stay, we didn't realize that they ALSO needed a written 30 day notice so now we have to pay for an extra month and Dad wants to go home..... Someone there also told him he needed a Dr's OK to leave, this is not true, he signed himself in and can sign himself out and that's what his Doc said!

Beautiful old world charm. Well maintained and clean. Lots of activities and a wonderful caring and knowledgeable staff interested in their residents well being.

My mother has improved in many areas of her life since making the move into this community. She has never been the social kind and since making the transition she has made many friends and even participates in many of the activities they have to offer throughout the day. My mom also has had good nutrition, she seems to be eating very well and liking the food they serve. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We had a very brief experience with Foothill Retirement. My husband was only there for two days. I was a little bit upset that even though the director came out to evaluate my husband and accepted him for care in their memory care community, it turned out that it was not a good fit. My husband went downhill as soon as he went into the facility. The staff were mostly women and weren't able to assist him in getting up from the floor. It seemed like that scenario was an entirely new experience for them, which is strange considering the setting (senior care, dementia care.) They called 911 to help him up off the floor, and they even wanted him to be transferred to the ER, even though he had not fallen - he was simply crawling on the floor. There were other male residents at Foothill and not just women, which was one of the things that attracted me there. The place was nice. It was clean. But they just couldn't take care of my husband.

I didn't care working with both of the head nurses and the policies they had in place. The other aides were fine to work with. The community stated they had the staff to care for my loved one with their medical conditions. I didn't feel the care was adequate for my loved one. The prices are reasonable here. My experiences were during the pandemic.

Everyone so far have been very nice, the rooms are nice and large, clean and nicely furnished. Have not experienced the food at this time.

Small and quaint, but rooms are small. Feels isolated.

It was a really nice community and the staff was really nice and helpful. It is a bigger community and the apartments are grouped together. They have a huge dining area in the middle of the complex that was just too noisy. We really didn't like the feel of the dining area just felt too much like a cafeteria and had no personalization to it. The rooms were nice and they really cared for the residents.

Food and care seemed good. Director was very helpful.
