Currently my mother is a resident, she has been there about a year. She was transferred there from the skilled nursing center . Her current room is ok but she has been having issues with her air conditioning and sometimes the food is not appetizing. Adding to this issue is that we were advised the maintenance employee is no longer working there, and medical staff were not familiar with how to fix the issue. In addition, there is constant issues with the TV service and no reason or estimated time frame is provided for repair. This is unacceptable. Her total income goes to her medical bills and rent there . The staff has been very kind and helpful. The corporate office staff is at times difficult to get a hold of, and return calls are not consistent and on occasion, not at all. Things and staff do need improvement but what it does provide helps families in these circumstances.

For the most part, my loved one was treated and taken care of very well and had a very nice room. I did have some concerns with professionalism and felt that certain conversations involving staff were inappropriate. When my loved one experienced a significant change in health and required a higher level of care elsewhere, I was disappointed with how the transition and move-out process were handled. The communication regarding the notice and financial expectations felt insensitive given the circumstances. Overall, there were positive aspects of the care, but I believe communication and professionalism during difficult situations could be improved.

Food is good . Staff are all friendly. I have a studio apartment and it is very spacious. I have met several wonderful ladies that are fast becoming my friends. Definitely made the right choice for me.

The location is a nice area of West El Paso. The facility is clean and the single bedroom apartments are roomy and nicely modeled. There are two women who take care of my mom. They attend to her and check on her often and even bring her meals if she is not up to going to the dining room. There are also regular activities for those residents who are interested. The food however, does tend to be Mexican oriented, which is not my mom's favorite. My only complaint is my experience with the business office. I keep trying to contact them to get receipts for insurance reimbursement. So far, no responses.

It is a very small, homey, welcoming and inclusive community. It feels like grandma's house- not a facility! I haven't eat the food personally. I'm only going from what my mom says. They do a good job, but there could be more variety, I guess. They have a nice variety of activities- not everyone is interested in all of them, but that is why there is a variety. All in all- they are doing an excellent job.

I have found a few exceptional staff members who have shown extraordinary dedication and concern for their patients wellbeing. [name removed] reality is humans work there and every interaction is not perfect but I feel like my person is safe and well cared for.

No real complaints truthfully. [name removed]very happy with her accommodations and choice to live there. I just spent the last month there helping her recover from a recent hospitalization and get moved in to her apartment and was pretty impressed with Hallmark overall. Nicely maintained, friendly community and lots of services available to her that make her life easier. Would happily recommend to new prospective tenants.

From my family member's perspective, some of the nursing staff are not as friendly, and it's hard to get any answers from anybody. But I know there are many factors going into that - things like staff shortages and Covid going on.

I visit my mother at least once a week. The place has pros and cons. The reason for staying is the rides to her doctors appointments and the fact that she has made friends that keep an eye on her. If she isn't seen throughout the day they call to check in. She has her apartment cleaned every two weeks which helps when her arthritis is acting up. Some things we aren't too happy about include residence experiencing a 14% increase in rent in one year! The person that was doing exercise classes has not been showing up. They said there was security after hours but a room used as a snack room was broken into and vandalized. The other concern is with their medical alert necklaces. They got a new provider and even though its on a charger, they get alerts in the middle of the night to charge it. This has caused some people to stop using it all together. If my mom had the means to go elsewhere she would.

Well informed on the location and what is offered. But where are the pictures of the inside? Bedroom's? Dining Area? Hallways? If someone is looking to move there from out of town, don't you think they would like to see some pictures?

Here's the issue: administration of facility changed within weeks of moms residing there, from nonprofit to for profit. Ever after that, communication regarding billing and requests to fix heating cooling in moms room were extremely poor. Bills always needed correction on their end. Failed to address facility challenges. Here's the other thing though, this facility is staffed with caring beautiful people.

For the most part, I am enjoying my stay at The Village at Northrise! The people there are great, and the staff are sure to take care of my needs! My primary concern, however, is that the food is terrible. This facility also does not offer menus for diabetics and people with special dietary needs.

This community did not compare to the community we ended up choosing. The tour was not inviting, we did not stay long enough to know whether they provided snacks for the tour. We needed a brighter setting for our needs.

The nurses and aids are very friendly, kind and attentive. However, it was not a social environment at all...monthly activities calendar was consistently late, activities got cancelled or were uninteresting and it did not inspire residents to be active...it really lacked of energy and participation. In addition, my mom sometimes asked for help from more experienced medical staff or managers and response times were slow and required much follow up. When my mom had to leave out of state for medical care but was still paying, her apartment was not cleaned the entire time she was gone, nor ready for her upon her return. Now that we have a basis for comparison for where she is now, Northrise has some work to do. And perhaps over the last year they have. This was our experience while she was there and I cannot speak to its present operation. But would I say is they did not deliver on what they advertised.

If you had asked me 2 weeks ago I would have given all of these a rating of 4 or 5. It was a great place for my mom. However, a new company took over and families are scrambling to relocated their loved ones elsewhere. With what's going on now, I'd give each of these a low rating now. A New company took over, laid off most of the staff (although complying with state regs of 1 staff per 15 residents), increased prices by 10%, trying to move assisted-living/memory-care residents into skilled nursing (because NM is no cap on liability for assisted living), etc.
