I would like to say that I've only been here 9 days. In this time I would say that Clarendale is head and shoulders above the ones that I've seen. It's clean, modern, friendly, good food, wonderful staff. So far I love it here. It will take me awhile to finish unpacking, but, I'm told by my friends that Rome wasn't built in a day.

Everything has been great so far. Very helpful staff! Well, I don't have a lot of other experiences with assisted-living communities to compare it to, but I appreciate how responsive they are whenever we have questions or concerns. I really like how thoughtfully designed the community is to support seniors without feeling institutional. And they have a lot of activities and options of fun things for the residents to do. They have made it easier for us to manage this transition and have been really supportive

I visited today to see if Danbury would be a good fit for my mom. The facility is beautiful! [name removed] gave me a tour of the facility and I was very impressed. When we ran into any of the residents she called them by name and spoke to them all. The residents seemed very happy and well cared for.

Beautiful residence with lots of great amenities. Lots of lovely apartment options with great floor plans. Extensive activity calendar. Lots of menu options. Friendly staff.

While my step mother has only been here a few days, my experience with the team getting her moved in was five-star! [name removed] was communicative, transparent and incredibly helpful during a stressful time. The medical staff was thorough and truly interested in learning about my step mother. Finally, everyone from the front desk, maintenance team, the nurses and aides and dining room staff were warm and friendly and caring. Thank you!

It was a very informative visit to the site. Great tour of facility and info from [name removed]. Am looking forward to another trip so that I can review the surrounding area.

The setting is beautiful and the accommodations are well mantained. The mechanism for becoming a resident is different than other continual care communities. In fact, it appeals to us. Definitely it was worth exploring.

Havenwood is definitely a five-star. I’d give the highest marks. I live at Havenwood and I have guests come in from outside the Community. The kitchen staff is amazing and everyone loves the staff and the food. The best community. We feel so blessed to be here at HAVENWOOD OF BUFFAO.

Great location and facility! Very clean and knowledgeable staff. Definitely on the list for my mom. Loved all the options for my mom's care.

All 5's based on feedback from my Mom and the 2 visits I have had. Mom loves the staff, the activities and being able to walk her dog around the grounds. The chef and restaurant staff are wonderful and the community is so friendly. She also loves her apartment and has a wonderful view, especially in the summer.

I give a 5 to everything but Food. I give a 3 to Food but they have been making improvements since I moved in. They are trying to make it more healthy. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating; there are a ton of activities (yoga, movies, lectures, etc.) just downstairs (mo having to go outside!) and bus outings to the beach, dining, museums, and shopping. The apartments are spacious and housekeeping comes once a week. I'm very happy I chose Cypress Village.

My parent moved to memory care recently and what a difference from [community removed] where he was for short time. the staff know the challenges with my parent and are committed in helping and the move has been day and night. my family thought a newer campus would be a better place but boy were we wrong. where meridian says no and didnt try, south port has gotten ahead of things and has solutions... imagine that! South port is still the superior care option after all these years. My family cant thank them enough.

I’ve been very happy with the care my mother has received at The Avalon of Bloomfield Township. There have been some recent leadership changes, and you can really see the difference. Communication has improved, the staff seems more engaged, and overall the community feels like it’s moving in a very positive direction. Most importantly, my mom is comfortable and well cared for. I’m happy she’s at The Avalon and feel good knowing she is in good hands.

First thing that I noticed when I walked in was no urine smell!!! The staff was very helpful and informative. [name removed] care has been top notch and professional. He is not a joiner in groups normally but he has been involved in a couple of activities already. They don't insist but are very persuasive in getting him to come and watch as others get involved. His apartment is spacious compared to other places. He has room to walk around in it and had enough room for more furniture if needed. The janitor service is great. His room is cleaned 2 times a week and swept everyday. The only complaint I have is the food. It leaves a lot to be desired. I understand why things are bland but when it's unrecognizable my husband is not gonna eat it and neither would I.

Heritage Village has treated my parent with respect and love during what was a difficult transition into assisted living. Heritage Village took on the challenge of accommodating for a new resident who only speaks American Sign Language and had a clear care plan to make communication better. The staff and other residents have risen to the challenge and shown my parent that things aren’t so bad in a new place. Thank you to everyone at Heritage Village!!

What a fantastic place to live. We have no concerns or worries about our move here. It already feels like home. The staff made it easy to move here. They were prepared for the day we moved here from the folks at the dock to having our apartment ready for the furniture delivery. Any questions were answered quickly about meals and services. The facility is beautiful with lots of community space. We chose our apartment space that was able to accommodate our furniture. The meals and food service have been excellent. Of all the places we looked at the Clarendale was by far the best..

I love it. My name was put on waiting list for a villa. I really like all the different activities that a person can get involved in . And fishing.

Listened to my needs and took personal interest in understanding where I am and doing whatever they can to meet my needs. Taking into consideration of age and not having Medicaid when funds would run out. Seriously considering a companion room situation. Beautiful outdoor garden areas. All staff friendly and acknowledging me as I toured. Like that it is all inclusive and no worries about amenities. Explained next steps for an assessment that can be done in home and willing to help every step of the way and happy to answer any questions I have as things get closer to time.

It's been great. They got my dad back on his feet and driving again, etc. I would certainly recommend the community to others who are searching for senior living for their loved one.

800 sq ft room more than enough, activities are great and used nearly daily
