Brookdale

We are still trying to clear a few hurdles at the Brookdale Phillippi Creek. They have made some changes in the policies of what they now offer and the things they have changed were the main selling points of why we signed up here. They no longer offer a happy hour for families to get together, and they were to provide a medical service of making sure my dad would take his medication for dementia. Now patients have to remember to go to a nursing station for their meds. There is a major fee associated with this service when we signed up and now the service has been changed we are still trying figure out the details. The staff is super friendly. It is comparatively clean community compared to others we have seen. There are activities offered for the residents if they want to participate. They were offering weekly grocery shopping trips, but lately, they have been canceled, I'm not sure why.

It is always a struggle when you have to place both of your parents and at least one of them is in need of more care than the other that was the case in my family. My parents wanted to stay together but it was quite clear that mom needed to be moved to the memory care floor once that was done things started to improve slightly. The community itself was slightly too large for my parents but a very nice place. It was clean and well maintained. The staff was pleasant and very kind and extremely patient helping us work through issues with my mom. The community offers a lot of activities but my father chose not to participate in them.

Brookdale Coeur d'Alene is a very nice and clean community. It is very inviting and homey. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The meals are not all good, the meat is sometimes dry and tough. They provide many activities although I am not able to participate in many of them. I have attended church and the Bible study classes. They do provide a bus for shopping. I have used their bus transportation not for shopping but for other appointments. I would recommend Brookdale Coeur d'Alene it's very comfortable.

The staff and managers are super friendly and outgoing. Their focus through the investigating, sign-up, and obviating process has been on my parents and their well being. After looking at 12 properties, we found the environment and value at Eddy Pond West to be outstanding and look forward to years of fun with my parents.

Dad likes that there are lots of vets there, and is slowly adjusting to being around a lot of people after living alone for 8 years. He's critical of the food, but likes going to the dining room, and he never misses a meal. Staff is friendly and helpful, but communication among family and service staff has been a problem at times and there are no care plan meetings. Coordination of outside medical services, physical, occupational, and speech therapies leaves family often in the dark. Facility is safe and offers many activities, but maybe initial expectations were too high. Still family is optimistic .

We toured the Brookdale Lake Brazos where the staff was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. The activity program looked very inviting. The community was well kept and the staff seemed very friendly. We chose another community based on the location to our home.

I saw nothing wrong here and they are excellent for those who are in more better condition. There offer more amenities that my parent would not be able to use.

My wife and I thought the staff were very friendly and did an excellent job with our tour. It was very spacious, clean and the residents seem to be enjoying themselves. the surrounds were beautiful. All in all, it is a nice place and we would consider it.

My tour of this community went well, and everyone was kind. The experience was a pleasant one. There were many factors that played into where place my parents for their needs. Unfortunately this wasn't the community for us, but my tour was a nice one overall.

Unfortunately this community is becoming too expensive for our budget, so we will have start considering other options for my father in law. However this is a nice facility, and he does like it here.The staff very kind when we come visit. The community looked great, they do a good job with the cleanliness. Due to the cost we will be looking into other community, but overall this is a nice community with kind people.

I had a pretty good tour of Brookdale. The sales person fantastic, and they were going to take my mother's insurance. The thing we did not like, and I do not know how to word it, was that there was a lot of low-income residents there. I am not sure my mother would have mixed well.

I have no complaints about the tour I had taken of this community for my loved one. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them in detail. I liked the open floor plan they had as well as some of the great amenities they had for the residents. It was just not the right fit for my mom in the end decision.

We had to wait a few minutes for our tour but once it started we really liked the information that we received. Nice small facility.

Started to put my father here in May and changed mind. Not sure if we will reconsider. Looking for more of a flat rate like Carriage club offers. Not sure why they are not all the same.

Quality facility. Well located near major roadways. Professionally staffed. Beautiful dining room and outdoor areas. Noticed slight odor of urine in memory care unit, but otherwise very clean and comfortable. Very impressed with the schedule of activities and entertainment for the residents.

This community was on the larger side. It was extremely nice well maintained and very clean. It was handicapped accessible.The staff seemed to be nice and respectful of the residents. The outside was very nice had some outdoor common areas. In fact, we were so impressed by this community we were going to choose this one but the price was an issue it was out of our budget range.

My mother has recently made the move into this community and I have no complaints of how things are going for her. The staff have been wonderful to work with and I am comfortable with the care they have been providing her. The floor plan is easy to navigate through and the property is always kept clean with lots of great amenities for the residents. Overall I am happy with how things are going and would recommend it to anyone.
