Brookdale

Felt welcome and given an opportunity to express one of the hardest decisions I have ever make. Facility is welcoming and staff in the memory care home was open to questions and allowing me to take a tour. Although no availability at this time, my need is urgent.

Thanks for the call, won't accept my disabled brother who lives with my mom.

First place we visited. The person giving the tour was very nice and knowledgable. The rooms were average. Courtyard was pleasant and they have a nice garden room and lots of activities.

This was one of many Brookdale properties. By far the best one. The place was clean and the residents were all out and about . The one bedroom in Assisted living had a full size fridge and a screened in patio. Assisted living drawbacks: laundry was extra charge. Definitely considering this one.

Had a tour of the facility and it seemed well run and was clean. Stopped by at lunch time, the dining area seemed to have sufficient amount of attendants. Food looked ok.Rooms small with a small refrigerator and microwave.No balcony.

[Name removed] was very précise with costs and very accommodating with sharing information as well as touring us through different room choices. Very nice rooms with doorwalks. Smelled so clean in the halls. Felt like we were in a 5 star restaurant in the dining area. The people (tenants and employees were all very friendly). Very large facility.

We found the people friendly and accommodating and helpful. The atmosphere was a bit dark but what was available was varied. [Name removed] was lovely and tactful

Even though not our preferred location, facility was nicely maintained. Seemed to have more caretakers than other facility we visited. Had a very nice dining area. Did not like carpet in apartments. At 5his point in my MIL needs, don't feel this would be the location for her.

This was our first visit to an assisted living facility. [Name removed] was a wealth of information and helped us get a good start on our decision making. She showed us a studio apartment, a one-bedroom, and a two-bedroom. They all seemed small, but clean and well maintained. The price for a one-bedroom was well over our budget, and after visiting subsequent facilities we have decided to explore independent living rather than assisted living.

It is a 20 resident community. We would need to bring the furniture. All are private rooms.They have a visiting doctor & podiatrist. The nurse is there 5 days a week. "Family Care" is available on a limited basis, only 2 allowed at a time. While we were there some residents were listening to music then played a game.

This facility was very friendly, both staff and residents. Residents seemed very happy and a couple offered unsolicited positive remarks about liking it there. We were there for lunch and a tour, and the lunch was served at a perfect pace, had absolutely delicious homemade bread and dessert, and a perfectly portioned meal. It couldn't have been better plus was served on a table with tablecloth and cloth napkins. The rooms had an outside lanai, great view of a small lake, and were a great size. There were a lot of "positives" about this place (location, too) but this was the first place we toured and my parents decided to wait a little longer before making a decision and we will look around more yet. Overall, tho, we all really liked so much about this facility. It was a little older but seemed well kept up. I may not give it a "fabulous" but it would definitely be "very good" and absolutely worth a look. It seemed a very good value for the cost.

A little older but nicely updated and large apartments. There is also a lot of areas for walking and exercise areas were nice. The balcony provides very nice private outdoor space.

Visited on [date removed] - The facility was clean, the staff was friendly, the prices were more reasonable than around the villages. I still think that it's too soon for memory care for mom, I will keep this place is in consideration.

Smaller facility with about 45 residents. 1 story seemed nice. will consider it. Staff knew everyone by name.

All apartments, it was nice. They seemed a bit small but I have nothing to compare as of yet.

Again, the tour was wonderful and working with [name removed] made everything easy. Thank you!

The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because the facility needs updating. What I loved is their large courtyard with rose gardens and atrium with parakeets! Amazing! I could really see my loving that! Staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable (they always do though). Residents seemed well cared for and content.

Very impressed with facility. Moving forward to see if we can get all ducks in a row.

This was a very nice facility. Total number of residents is 45. Had more of a Bed and Breakfast feel. Nice common areas. Very limited outdoor space. There is a very nice, but small front porch. There is a back patio area which is also the smoking area. It has potential. It would be better with a little fountain and more landscaping. All residents were happy. Many previous professors, doctors, and professionals. Lots of activities. 5 room options. No pricing was available to me when I visited. I will wait for someone to get back to me next week. Several residents and staff said that the food was very good.
