Brookdale

Patty was the first person that I worked with and she went above and beyond to help me. She is now the executive director of the place. The facility is nice. It's always clean. Everyone there is very nice. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. My father loves it and that's what's most important to me. It has been an excellent experience at the Brookdale Weatherford. I'm glad my father loves it.

My dad is a current resident and has been there for 3 1/2 years. Before I moved him into Wynwood, I toured a bunch of other communities and we ended up chosing Wynwood because they offer higher levels of care than other communities and because the staff had been there a long time. Within two days of him moving in all the staff knew his name and engaged him in activities. His apartment in well maintained and the building is beautiful. I cannot say enough about the staff there - they are always willing to help. The director Heather is wonderful and she has been there for 20 years and makes herself available to families. The food is great and I have had dinner with my dad multiple times and the dining services staff is always friendly and have worked there for a long time. All the nurses are nice. I am honestly surprised at the comments below becasue we have never had any problems. I have been there when my dad has pushed his pendant and its never taken more than a few minutes for a staff member to come. I would highly recomend Wynwood to anyone who wants to move in a place where the staff is warm and the food is good

The staff is very attentive to all the guests and bend over backwards to accommodate special needs and requests. They are diligent in seeing to all the details of guest care and guest requirements. I have personally seen the change in my mother as she is now making more friends. She enjoys the activities by what I call their "cruise director" and their special outings and trips. She is becoming more active again. I would highly recommend this special place for your loved ones. AND they have great cookies!!

Brookdale has been an excellent choice for my mother. The friendly staff and the interest they have in making sure that the residents are cared for both physically and mentally and their encouragement to get the residents involved in everyday activities is a big plus.

So far everything is going fine, it's just a matter of getting used to situation for now.

Our experience with Sterling House at the Orchands has been a good one, overall. The staff here are always very patient and kind when caring for my loved one, and the facility itself is well kept and clean. It is just a very ncie place overall.

My grandma and I visited all the places in town. The Brookdale Northwest Hills was the nicest one. It has clearly been newly remodeled. The staff is very attentive and welcoming. My grandma loves all of the activities. I would recommend this place to anyone. The facility is really nice. It's always clean. Everyone there is very friendly and welcoming. This is a really nice community. We are really pleased.

This is a spectacular place. They personalize everything for you. They get to know the residents and their family. They are very timely in getting back to you. They keep you updated. They work with you on every level. The facility is very clean and nice. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The Brookdale Highlands Ranch is a very nice community. I am really pleased with the services. They have been great.

Our experience with The Heritage of Southfield was a very good one! We used them for a brief respite stay for a loved one and they did a wonderful job looking after her, there were no problems at all! The staff were warm and accepting, and really made us feel like she was in good hands while we were away!

Its all expensive so the value is good. I don't have an informed opinion on the activities. I don't really have any additional comments.

My mom lives there, I'm liking it very much, everyone is nice, and I can' ask for anything more!

I am very happy with the care my mother-in-law is receiving. She likes the food and the people there and there is really good communication between the staff and families. They handle things well and they get to go places for activities and it is close to a lot of things in the area. The only thing don't like is buzzing/waiting to get in. I understand it can be hard especially when they are short-staffed, but I feel they should give some sort of access code for families so you don't have to stand and wait in front of the door. Otherwise, it has gone great!

I can't say enough about the staff here; they worked with us to make us feel comfortable with moving my mother in; they are hardworking and very helpful! We are starting to think of permanent care, so it's definitely been a good fit for us so far.

This is my #1 choice. They are able to work with my father's low fixed income situation. I will be bringing my father for a visit to see if he likes it.

i think it's a wonderful facility! My dad was bed-ridden before he went to Sterling House of Westerville, and now he's up and running again, and coming home soon. We would send him there again if need be!

Chanel has been absolutely fabulous. She didn't just help me get the room and get her in, she has helped with the emotions that come with it. I couldn't recommend her high enough to anyone. She is fabulous! The food is quite good. All of the people that we have encountered, which would include the maid, the caregivers, the activities coordinator, they always speak to us and are always polite. It's clean and didn't seem so much like a hospital setting. You don't see people in wheelchairs just sitting in the hallway, they are either in the aviary, or the lobby grouped together socializing. I loved that we could have her dog there, and they even walked it when she wasn't feeling well. They have been so gracious to help get her adjusted. We started out as respite, and that was a huge help, and a positive way to adjust. It's been a good experience, I would definitely give them an A!

We have been very happy with Brookdale, so far. She hasn't complained about the food at all, though I haven't tried it. I would rate them very highly at this point.

My experience has been remarkably wonderful! There haven't been any glitches per se, but the people have been on time, friendly, and have been accommodating and near-perfect! Would give 5+ stars to friendliness of the staff if I could!

Beautiful apartment and grounds. We were able to meet several staff members and visit with residents.

The people at Brookdale Folsom have been great. They have all been very nice and friendly, and the facility itself is very clean and well kept. I am still trying to get my mother used to the idea that this is her new home and it has been a little challenging at times, but as far as Brookdale Folsom themselves are concerned, they are doing an excellent job.
