Brookdale

This is one of the places we considered when looking. They were extremely nice to work with. We ended up going with a Brookdale that was closer to us, and we are very happy with them so far. I think this would have been just as good.

I love it. They are very friendly. A Place For Mom has been great. My mom seems to be getting into the day to day routine. I think she enjoys the three meals a day, and socializing with others her own age. They call me right away if something happens. I am so happy with them.

They did a really good job at explaining everything to us and the process and such. They obviously care about the residents that they are taking care of. I do not think I have any recommendations on anything they can improve on.

I found Brookdale Hampton Cove to be a very inviting. The staff were friendly and appeared to care about the residents who lived there. I observed staff interacting respectfully with residents. All areas looked very clean. There were plenty of areas that the residents could go to relax besides being in their rooms. Also the outdoor center garden was another very beautiful area for residents to relax or get together with others. The dining area looked clean and organized. Menus regarding each meal were clearly posted. I was very impressed with what I observed while I was visiting.

Emeritus (now called Brookdale) is the best assisted living facility I could have found for my mother. Christine Ogden the director was quick efficient and responsive in helping me and ALWAYS returned my calls and emails in a timely manner. Sherry Porter, the nurse manager, is very caring and helpful and has been a godsend. The staff are friendly and helpful. Leilani at the front desk is the most pleasant person I have EVER met. My mother calls and texts us often about all the activities she is doing and going to. Brookdale doesn't let the residents just sit in their rooms. They encourage them to get out and mingle, and they even come up and get them. I feel very blessed to have found such a wonderful home for my mother. I was very scared to find something that fit into my mother's fixed budget. Our monthly costs includes the room and the additional assistance that my mother need. She gets 3 meals and snacks, weekly room cleaning and her laundry done as part of the room fee - just what my mother wanted. I was afraid of this next step in our journey but my mind has been put at ease. The rooms are sizeable, the activities are MANY, the staff are caring and the location is right across the street from Meritus Medical Center. I know my sisters and I made the right decision for my mom. I am an ER nurse of over 30 years with several years of teachumg customer service in healthcare so my expectations are extremely high. We're very pleased by how things have turned out at Brookdale Highlands! It is a beautiful, clean, well kept facility, and the staff are all very friendly and professional. They are taking really excellent care of my loved one. They have a lot to offer here, in terms of both care and amenities, and the price was comparable to other less impressive communities we saw in the area.

Inge loved this place...we spent 2 1/2 hours with Jenny...Inge was non stop talking...the residents seemed happy...and friendly...keeping this one on our possible list...

Certainly she is getting a whole lot more attention now than the facility where my loved one was before. I get a whole lot of phone calls from the place, so I appreciate that. I feel like they are doing a good job there.

They have done well in seeing that most of my mothers needs have been met and providing her with the care that she needs. I think they could improve on having more diverse activities for their residents.

My mother is staying there and she really likes her apartment and is doing well.

They do a wonderful job at Clare Bridge of Hampton Cove! The staff here is absolutely phenomenal. They were a huge help throughout the whole touring and selection process, and they put in a lot of hard work to make sure that my loved one settled in and felt at home. I really can't say enough good things about them, they take great care of my loved one.

I think overall it has been very good. They have definitely gone out of there way to take care of my mom and to setup with the doctor and everything. It is tough to say anything that they can improve on.

I moved into Brookdale Niskayuna a few months ago because my vision was getting worse and I couldnt live alone any longer. Everyone here has made me feel welcome and the staff are all wonderful. We had a ribbon cutting event recently for the name change and I got to speak and tell everyone how wonderful the staff is and I truly was speaking from the heart. Another great thing about living here is I know alot of people who already live here since I have been in the Schenectady area a long time. It was really nice to move into a place where I already had friends. The activities are nice because there is alot to chose from and I have even joined a group of people who meet to play Dominoes. Also, my church is across the street so what else more could I ask for?

So far they have done a pretty good job. I don't know how a lot of the others are, but I am happy with Brookdale. The people are all very nice.

The experience was good. They evaluated my mother and found her acceptable for their location and I just had a few months review with them and everything went fine. I think they have really good care. They have plenty of RNs and CNAs. They are staffed really well.

We were only here a short time before our loved one passed away. We were very happy with Brookdale. They were awesome, they were really nice. Very sweet and kind, especially on the day he passed away. The move in process was fairly simple and smooth. They really did a good job.

A beautiful facility with friendly staff and residents. The one bedroom apartments are well designed. There were four lovely patio areas convenient to the residents.

We love it here. We have been very happy with Trillium. We have friends that have been here for years, and they have been very happy here as well. It's a great place.

The care givers, the nurses and the management at Brookdale Piqua are kind and caring. You are greeted at the door by a friendly face and that experience continues for your entire visit! My father is happy and I see him smile more now then I have in years!

They were really good with working with my friend on making it affordable for her. I feel they went above and beyond to make it work for her. They really worked very hard with her to take care of her concerns so she was able to transfer there.
