The food is not great. They have plenty of activities during the week, but the weekends are very boring, so there could be at least one activity during every day which would be helpful. The staff has been wonderful and more than willing to help rearrange furniture and step up to the plate to keep my mom as safe as possible, because she falls a lot. The male residents are allowed to go off the property to go walking around, but the female residents are not, which I find odd and some residents find disheartening.

Brookdale Brookhurst is a very clean place and the staff are all very helpful and caring. It has been a very good experience and I would highly recommend them.

They really went above and beyond to take care of my mother. It was one of the best experiences we have dealt with in this process. Even though she has moved out they still stay in contact with us to see how she is doing.

Lots of pros: Very friendly and caring staff. Food is good and requests are welcome. Various activities and scheduled trips available. Residents are happy and really welcoming to new residents. There are many small conversation areas and beautiful outside gardens. Easy entrance process. The cons: The maintenance request response could be better (closet doors). Public bathrooms should be cleaned more frequently and aggressively. Older air/heating units noisy and unsitely in residential units.

The main thing I have been impressed with is the consistency of care. My mother has been there for about two months. There is a family member up there almost every other day, and not a one of us has seen a thing that would raise a concern about the quality of care or anything else. All places have some areas that they are good at, or seem really good at first, but this place has had really good quality of care consistently.

We moved our parents into Juniper Meadows from their home of 52 years. The Marketing Director and Administrator were so helpful and accomodating (my dad has only 10% of his vision left). They gave us an abundance of information and introduced us to all the care staff. We felt welcomed and comfortable. After touring the other facilities in the area, Juniper Meadows, hands down was the best place for our folks. They have been there several months and could not be happier. The staff is like a second family and they take exceptional care of them. My mother is a picky eater and has gained 5 much needed pounds since moving in due to the quality of the food. Their apartment is ALWAYS clean and tidy and we have had no complaints about their medications being given at the appropriate time. Our family would highly recommend this wonderful community to anyone looking for assisted living for their loved one. Thank you Juniper Meadows for all you do - we appreciate YOU!

I loved that they had a sitter stay with my mom for the first 24 hours.

I am really happy with the care at Brookdale Salem Memory. The activities are wonderful. They had an awesome fundraiser recently. There was so much laughter and the residents really got into it. The staff is so truthful and helpful. They let me ask a lot of questions even though I know they are very busy. They make my husband feel so at home here. The staff really go out of their way to make everyone feel important. The only thing that needs improving is it's almost too secure here when I am trying to get in the front door. I know this is necessary and isn't anything they are doing wrong but sometimes I have to call the main number to be let in. Overall I am so happy with the decision I made to have my husband here!

At Brookdale Eden Estates everyone has been so quick to help us. Anything you need they are sure to get it done. The only thing I would say is they do need a few more activities. Brookdale Eden Estates is the best bang for your buck. We are very please with this facility.

the place was marvelous and could not be better but the price was $5000

So far it's a nice place but the elevator is very slow. The food is great.

I don't know what they could improve on, they just remodeled the place. It's close to my families house so it is convenient to visit. As soon as you hit the door there is someone greeting you, it feels like they really know you. I can't think of anything negative about it.

This has been our first experience in putting someone in assisted living and it has been a good experience. Everything has been great. They really worked with me and my mother. At first she was going to walk home and leave. Now she calls it home. She did fall and break her arm, but there was nothing that could have done to prevent that, and they have been great working with her and taking good care of her since. We have been very pleased.

Everybody at Brookdale Denton South has been very friendly and very helpful. I love the fact that they have their "always available" menu. My mother-in-law is very picky when it comes to food so that has been very helpful.

It was the best thing we ever did. The Meridian is a family of friends and caregivers. We feel safe. We feel like we are getting a good value. We just couldn't be happier, we absolutely love having our parents there.

The staff at Brookdale Lake Brazos has just been phenomenal. They have answered any questions that we have had and they have fixed any problems that arose and I would just absolutely highly recommend them.

If I have any questions at all they help me a lot and if there is anything that I need then they are more than wiling to get it or tell me what I have to do in order to obtain it. They are a fine facility.

My loved one loves it there and she is happy there. She is on the independent living side of the facility. The location is in a questionable area, but it seems like a safe facility. We have not had any problems with it.

It has been a great experience there. They have a caring staff with a warm environment. They serve great meals. They keep the place clean. The value is excellent. That is one of the main reasons why I chose this facility. The communication has been good for the most part. They are always trying to improve. I would recommend the Brookdale Arvada to anyone. My overall rating of this facility is five stars.

We have had a very good experience with them so far. This was the first place I brought my mother too and she wouldn't even go inside. One thing that impressed me about the place was one of the managers offered to have his outreach nurse to come visit my mother in her home. She made a good impression on my mother and i think that helped to get her to visit the facility. They were very good about helping us to get her in and the transition to the appropriate care level.
