Brookdale

They staff are doing a good job with my dad. They are super friendly and they have been emailing me with anything that comes up. He is overall happier and he is a lot safer. They have activities available for him to do through the day.

We were greeted by extremely friendly staff throughout the facility. Competent and caring individuals were present as we toured. It was our #1 choice for mom after touring 6 other facilities in our immediate area. The rooms are a sufficient size and the activities are numerous. The dining area was clean and the food seemed to be enjoyed by the residents as well as the staff. Choices were available. This facility's employees cared for all the residents.

The care is outstanding from the wonderful staff who are caring. The menu is very good and I enjoyed have meals with him. I like to know that he is comfortable and doing well. Other families might like this community for the care of a loved one.

I am happy with the care here. The staff is helpful and attentive. The community is the clean and nice environment for care. The menu could use some improvements. I like that she is involved with the other residents in the activities that are offered for the residents who like to participate. We would recommend this community for the care and the value for a family member

This facility is a HOME the staff treats the residents and families as their own family very loving The great gift they gave a 104 year old resident making his wish to fly come true shows you the huge hearts they have filled with love

Everyone I have met is helpful and eager to answer any questions to make Brookdale a new home for my Mother. Brookdale is the best facility in the north new jersey area based on cost, care, services provided and the facility itself.

Love it so far. Going back on Monday to pick out mom's apartment. This is a hotel like atmosphere for seniors. I could not find one resident to say something negative. My husband and I interviewed passing residents. I really enjoy the fact that they have a pool that family members can use when they visit. This will make my son's feel like they are going to their grandmother's "vacation hotel" vs. a nursing home that also has some independent residents. These residents are still moving around and were not all sitting in a common area waiting for food. It was wonderful to see that. Hopefully our next visit will maintain this thinking that I have that this is a respected and mentally healthy community with regards to the residents as well as the staff and administration at Brookdale Glen Ellyn. Again, mom and I love what we have experienced this far. ??

We are satisfied with the care mom is receiving at this community. The staff are friendly and helpful. They do offer daily activities and the food is good. The community is clean and well taken care of. I would recommend this community.

My dad loves the community we moved him into. He really likes the meals and options to choose from. The activities are enjoyable for him. The staff communicate pretty good and they are good at providing the care my dad needs. I would recommend them to others.

The transition from home to Brookdale has been an emotional time for us as we have been Mothers care givers for the last 9 years. The professionalism and sincere caring from all of the staff have eased our minds and confirmed our decision to move her in. There have been some concerns as Mother is adjusting to a totally new environment but every issue is addressed immediately and resolved. Thank you Brookdale Staff for taking the extra steps to embrace my Mother as another family member to your community.

They were wonderful when touring with them. After seeing what they offer we saw that it was not the right fit. She does not need memory care yet.

Establishment is very clean, orderly and well run. Staff is very friendly and accommodating which makes for an easier transition for their clients. I observed one-on-one with clients and the staff stresses that it is imperative they 'get to know the client' and family. This location makes me feel that we have made a great decision for our mother and she is in good hands. Love the personal touches with the shadow box and 'Veteran's Wall of Fame'! My mom has been very satisfied with her stay! Everything seems to be going very well so far! The location has proven to fit my mom's needs and requests. We are very pleased!

We are very pleased with my sisters move to this community. She is safe, and receiving the care she needs. They have gone above, and beyond to take care of her, and her needs. I'am comfortable with her move to this community, She is doing great since her move here, and I would recommend this facility.

Everything seems fine for my dad. He looks happy. The staff are good about communicating with me. They call me back every time and respond to my emails. He is taken care of really well.
