A marvelous facility with kind, compassionate staff. The activities director is delightful, and the residents all seemed to be having a great time. Exceptionally clean and fresh-smelling, and the residents are obviously well cared for.

The memory care floor at Brookdale Sarasota Midtown was a good fit for us.

Brookdale is a very welcoming facility. Unfortunately [name removed] needed more of a nursing facility. [Name removed] passed away on [date removed].

This facility has a family atmosphere and large rooms. The prices a very competitive.

After touring many places, my dad choose Brookdale at Cypress Lake. Very spacious floor plan with full kitchen and patio. Good pricing. Beautiful landscaping. Friendly, helpful, attentive staff.

This environment is exactly what my Dad needed. After retirement he was so bored at home. He now has friends to socialize with. The food is great! Mom is so much happier not having to cook. Lots of activities scheduled every day.

Your staff has created an environment of respect, communication and great service. My mom is very happy in her community. That makes us happy also!

I met the sales person at the community who was very accommodating. The community is absolutely beautiful and I love the outdoor space available. The apartments are very adequate and the staff was very friendly. I moved my mother in one week after touring.

Our mother lived at Brookdale Port Charlotte for quite some time before her passing. It was very difficult for her to leave her home but we knew that she needed much more assistance than home care could offer. One thing that I can say is that every promise was fulfilled when it came to our moms well-being. Anytime she gave pushback on things like physical therapy, attending meals, taking medications, this team always had a proactive approaches. They believed in my mom which ultimately made my mom believe in herself and venture out of her apartment to make friends and go to meals every day. The quality of care she received, we couldn’t be happier with. Our mom was never a number, nor was it ever about the money. They gave our mom the best quality at end of life and we will forever be grateful to them because she was so happy there. We were involved in the every day goings on with my mom and can say without hesitation this is the community you want your loved one to be in if you want the best for them.

We have had such a great experience. I'm so glad we went for a tour and were able to see firsthand. I have been to seven places and none of them gave me the resources or had the passion. [Name removed] is more an angle than a sales person and continues to go beyond the call of duty for us. Lunch was tasty and the people we met had good things to say. Brookdale has everything we need, the programs were explained in great detail and no other facility could offer the same. Feels like the right fit for us.

Outstanding place,lot of activities,friendly people , Swimming pool,appartments are large and cleaned every week, maintained is very good. Food is outstanding steak every night if you want it.staff is excellent.

Do not leave your loved ones in this horrific place. They have the worst food I’ve ever eaten, mom just quit eating due to the lack of nutrition and the fact that it’s never good food. They are understaffed and nobody cares! Mean employees, put patients in fear mode! If they have to have medication, please hear me, there are times, always a weekend, that they will decide she’s not having her meds today for whatever reason they can come up with. Our elderly deserve so much more than this place can ever give under current management, staff, food, medication and assisted care!!

Very nice. Professional. [Name removed] answered our questions. Showed us all sections of the community. Definitely consider. My Mom's experience turned out not to be so good. Had issues from day l and until she left 2 months later. Would not recommend Brookdale.

By far, the most informative visit so far, I was so impressed with [name removed]! She spent a lot of time with me and was willing to help and provide information above and beyond anything I’ve experienced so far! Her willingness to share financial guidance, other possibilities. I’m looking forward to meeting with her again.

I am changing my review left yesterday. I was disappointed that the Director was not available to take me on my tour and answer questions. She was never notified of a scheduled tour. A Memory Care Manager stepped into her place, taking me on the tour. He was delightful, [name removed]. Unfortunately, he could not answer many of my questions. The Director called today and was also delightful offering her apology for not being available to take me on a tour Sunday. I know now that the model shown to me "is" available, to include the upgrades that I LOVED but that were not offered in other apartments I was shown. Also, the med management is offered free with the base apt. rent! That is a $500 per person additional cost at other locations!

Loved this property! Definitely at the top of our list! It has a very nice layout. Loved small size of the community and its location. All of the residents appeared happy! Lots to offer. Nice dining area. I observed their start of lunch before I left. Loved the layout of the available room with the exception of it being carpeted. Would have preferred hardwood floors instead of the carpet. Beautiful top of the line tile in the bathroom! [Name removed] was an absolute joy to speak with. She was very well informed of all that goes into our transition from Skilled Nursing to Assisted Living.

Visit went as well as could be expected.Mom not happy with moving,but like the staff.

I was a resident in the skilled nursing facility in the fall, 2018. I was battling infections, required wound care and IV antibiotics after hip replacement. Absolutely everything about my care in skilled nursing was outstanding. Every nurse, aide and staff was dedicated, attentive and friendly. The nurses schedule allowed me to have the same high quality care every day of the week. My room was lovely, clean and looked like an upscale hotel room. The food was great with many choices. I highly recommend Brookdale.

My husband has been living at Brookdale Middleton Stonefield for a little over a year and I couldn't be happier with the care he is receiving. The caregivers are top notch and absolutely do care about the residents. They treat families with respect and as valued guests. I toured many west Madison/Middleton Alzheimer's and Dementia homes and chose this after a doctor's recommendation, a friend's recommendation (her mom has lived there for a number of years), and because it just felt right. Like a home. It's not fancy, but it is amazing. i now feel completely comfortable leaving town with him in their care. If you're looking, please check them out.
