They have had a recent change in management and the overall facility has improved drastically from what it was a few months ago. The staff are much more attentive and the new executive director is great, it has made a huge difference. Overall, I would recommend this community other families who are looking.

My loved one enjoys the food. We have already recommend a few people to go here.

My mother enjoyed 3 years in a Brookdale-Hawthorn Lakes independent living apt, where she was able to make friends, enjoy good meals, and lead a fulfilling life. Due to a fall, we recently moved her to Brookdale's-Hawthorn Lakes' Assisted Living building, where they are taking good care of her. Brookdale has done a fantastic job adapting to the challenges of running a senior living community during the COVID pandemic, which is a monumental task! We are grateful for all the care and creativity Brookdale staff have demonstrated for their residents over the past year. Thank you!

From day one when our family member moved in, we have been so impressed by the Brookdale admin team and all the staff. However, words cannot convey how incredibly grateful we are for all they have done during this challenging pandemic year. Although keeping residents healthy and safe has been the primary goal, they have found numerous ways to safely engage everyone and creative ways to support connections with family including helping residents to connect via technology like zoom calls. If anyone in your family needs a high quality, caring residential home, choose Brookdale Hawthorn Lakes.

The community gives me a peace of mind. The staff is able to assist my mom at a moment's notice.

The staff members are really good over there and the care services are excellent. We also though the value was excellent. While he was there he was ecstatic, he really did love the place and it was a good experience.

I would recommend this community to others. This has been a very good experience. I believe they have handled the pandemic as well as they can. They had a room available during the summer for my loved one that was remodeled. The staff is tenured and this is a big plus for us. The communication is wonderful, and weekly calls to keep the families updated.

We are very happy with the community, we do think they are doing the best that they can and doing a good job keeping up the cleanliness of the place. We have not been able to eat there ourselves, but our loved one says he is happy with the meals.

Due to covid there are not as many activities as we would like, however we do think it is a very good value for the cost. We would recommend the Brookdale Charlotte East community to others.

When it comes to the activities we think that they are doing the best they can under the current circumstances. They also are great communicators.

The rates just went up, and this isn't a tier rate. The bedding is changed each day for my loved one. I appreciate the care and not having the tier based on medical needs. The money has gone into paying for really good staff. There is a low turn over of staff. The staff is kind to my loved one, no matter what.

The community seems to be clean, inviting, and safe. The sales director went above and beyond our expectations to help with a difficult financial situation. Unfortunately, the timing for move out/move in was not workable at the time.

Our loved one says the community is wonderful, and overall they are doing a good job. Our loved one says they are all so kind and no matter what time in the day it is they call us if anything happens. We are very appreciative of their communication. When it comes to the care services this is the healthiest our loved one has looked in years, she is very comfortable there and we would recommend this place.

The staff members at the community would be a ten out of ten. From the minute we did the online tour and spoke with the individuals who worked there, it just felt like home.

My mother started in the Assisted Living facility, but then needed to be moved to the Memory Care facility. The transition was seamless, the staff in both facilities were caring, compassionate and responsive to not only my mother's needs, but also the family's needs too. The staff in the Memory Care facility treated my mother like she was their own. It literally brings tears to my eyes when I think about her experience there. I highly recommend this facility if you are looking for a place of comfort and care for your loved one!

I am very pleased with our experience so far at Brookdale Topeka. I feel very fortunate that this is where he is at and I think he is receiving adequate care. Overall, I think they are an amazing facility and would highly recommend.

We do know the community offers a good amount of activities for the residents to participate in, but due to covid there has not been any activities. We would recommend the Brookdale Burlington community to others

[name removed] is great! Natalie is great as well, and the lady that helped us get into Brookdale Paddock Hills. I would say without a doubt to go give it a look. My loved one has been very happy here.

I would recommend this community to others. I believe all the services that are included with the independent living is something that sticks out to me. They haven't had any breakout of COVID.

This is a beautiful community with super nice people. I'm able to compare this community to an extremely high end community where my father was prior. The care here far exceeds the care received prior.
