Brookdale

We toured with other places but ultimately chose Brookdale Chapel Hill because of the location, it is easy for both my husband and I to get there from work and the parking, and the way it looks from the outside. It seemed like a very active friendly and fun place to be. [name removed] our sales rep was great, took us on a great tour and answered all our questions. She was there with us through every step of the was and really understood our situation. She really listened and was not trying to sway us in one way or the other. Their activities director is amazing, every time I go there she is there. She comes up with great things to do and they are engaging and different so they are not doing the same things all the time. I would recommend to anyone without any reservations.

I would say that this is a very good community for you or your loved one. They are very nice at this community and always there for things, every time I go there things are well. They have activities like work out classes, card making, bingo, they also had a lecture where someone came and talked to the community. They also had an ice cream social for the residents to get together.

This community was nice but it went over the budget that we had set for my loved one. The tour was good and they gave me all of the information that I needed.

Everybody is very helpful. The place is very clean. They get residents involved in activities and group meetings where they discuss things. My father loves it there.

I would tell people to bring their family members here. There was an adjustment period at first, but now that our loved one is settled in, all in all it's a fantastic place. I like the administrative offices. They're very cooperative. The nursing staff is really good as well. The staff all treat our loved one very well. There are a lot of activities. I think it's a good value.

The sincerity and the friendliness of the staff is something we really enjoy. We would recommend this community to others.

My loved one is enjoying the experience at Brookdale Southfield, the facility is very very nice and the food is good. The medical services they are connected to that come to the room has been a nice arrangement and working out well. The only downside we have had is working with their Comforcare operation but I think a lot of it was them getting comfortable with my loved one and her needs. Some of the activities provided are group therapy, hand massages, entertainment, etc. Overall I am satisfied with the facility and think it was a good choice for us.

They have made a great effort to make my loved one's stay very good. They go above and beyond what is necessary in order to be a place of great value. My loved one tells me the facility is very clean as well.

My loved one moved to Brookdale Peachtree not too long ago and it has been a wonderful experience so far. The director of marketing and admissions that helped us get her all moved in was tremendous to work with and made things so easy on us. This is a facility that I would highly recommend to anyone looking, it has been awesome.

I would suggest Brookdale Montclair, as this is the best community in the area. They are safe, clean, and the staff are engaging and these qualities all stand out to me. The money was well spent with my loved one being here. The staff were available, and ready to answer questions or speak about any concerns the family had. The food was good for my loved one with good variety and portion sizes. Brookdale was able to assist with medication management for my loved one.

Being out of town we are not able to really visit but the times we have visited the community is very clean and well managed. On the tour we felt that Brookdale was a good size, we do not really care for the big ones with worries of our loved one getting lost and it not feeling as homey. The staff are able to really get to know all the residents on a personal level and we are very pleased with that. All the staff are so personable and helpful. We also really like the fact that a lot of the staff have been there for many many years.

I would recommend this community for your loved one. the staff are really nice people I love them. The tour was great but it was also prior to covid so many things have changed since them.

I would tell others that the people here are very friendly. The staff made is easy for my loved ones to move in. They are kinds, courtesy, and knowledgeable here. They are very responsive to the family and our loved one's requests. I would recommend Brookdale to others for their loved ones. The quality of the food is good; however, my loved one feels the times of meals are a little too early for their liking. There are options to eat in the dining, take the food back to your room to enjoy, or pay a fee to have it delivered. Exercise, movies, library, puzzles, and more are some activities for the residents to choose from. There is a calendar of activities that the residents are given.

My mom only wishes she had mad the move sooner! It has enriched her life in so many ways. She's busier than she has been in 20 years. She eats more than she ever did. Her cat loves it there too. The staff are phenomenal. Everybody is really welcoming and have made the transition super easy They keep our family constantly informed on what's going on. It's just perfect!

Overall it was a good experience for us. My loved one was there and they were able to participate in activities. They took care of the food and laundry service for my loved one during their short stay. The move in and move out process went smoothly. The staff were very helpful as well. My loved one enjoyed the food. Games, arts and crafts, field trips and more are some of the activities for the residents to choose from.

My brother needed a place to recover from several medical issues and in a short time we found Brookdale Heights and their team who guided us through the set up process, loaned furniture and made him feel right at home. We highly recommend Brookdale Heights for the caring staff, lovely setting and good meals.

My experience has been positive. They have been very attentive when placing my loved one here, and even after my loved one moved in they kept the attention on my loved one. There was an issue with my loved one and the staff called me. They are willing to work with you on your concerns and questions. They are also friendly. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The community offers breakfast and dinner for meals, Monday through Friday. On Saturday and Sunday they offer a brunch and a take out meal for dinner. This isn't what I was hoping for; however, my loved one is able to keep food in their room to be able to eat, if necessary. The staff have been able to correct something on the floor for my loved one so well, you can't tell there was an issue. The meals, housekeeping, and utilities are included in the price per month. They are extra costs for a land line, and cable. The family can pay a reasonable fee for assistance with dressing and medication management. The residents are able to make a transition from independent living to assisted living within the same community, when needed.

mom was not sure about ALF when we brought it up. she's been at Brookdale 2 weeks now and absolutely loves it! the food, activities, and entertainment. she has one new friend, [name removed] and they are now inseparable. thank you

If you have a loved one that has reached a stage they need a community, this is better than a nursing home. Brookdale offers more for my loved one. My loved one know the staff well and has made friends, plus they have their own items in the room. My loved one has their own room with a shower. There was room to put a dorm size refrigerator in. The community is able to do linen and laundry service for my loved one, along with housekeeping. The community will come and get my loved one for meals and encourages activities. There is transportation to take my loved one to and from doctor appointments. There is church services, singing, music, games, puzzles, and more for activities for the residents to choose from. There is a nurse on staff, and will talk to them if there is any issues or questions that I have. There are meals and snacks provided to the residents. There is a beauty appointment for hair and nails once a month on site for the residents to take advantage of.
