Brookdale

We chose Brookdale Fort Collins because they were able to give us a discount since she was in another Brookdale facility previously. We also really liked the looks the place, it was clean and the rooms were very nice and private. The staff is really helpful and they keep you updated on what is going on with your loved one. They send me a form each month with her care plan and they keep us involved. I would absolutely recommend to others looking for memory care.

The staff here goes above & beyond to meet the resident needs! They have the best hot water cornbread!

After our father passed away we were at a loss as to how to safely care for mom We searched at several facilities to try to find the best place for mom. We decided to go with brookdale niagara dementia care. The kindness mom and the entire family have been shown is remarkable. The communication is exceptional. The admissions director went out of her way to make this as easy as possible. Mom seems happy and is well cared for. She smiles more now and appears to feel very safe. She has gained some weight back and has been participating in the many activities. We chose well. No regrets.

They were phenomenal when we were in the process of getting Mom in there. They worked with us. And they have been extremely good with her and understanding if she doesn't want to participate in certain things. They make sure she has food in her unit. The care has been over the top - I can't say enough about that. She says she likes the food. They offer a lot of activities. The facility is very clean, and it's kind of modern. The residents are allowed to decorate their own doors if they want to. They put the residents' names on the doors, and if they have a pet, they put the pet's name on there too, which is cute. I have no complaints at all.

I really liked this community and this community was very clean. The staff and the residents very friendly.

I would say to come and look at a place like this. Some of my family came to see this community and they thought it was fabulous. They have activities at this community like going on trips to the store, bingo, crafts, music, games and more for the residents to do to stay busy and active in the community. The tour was great and I felt like this was a fabulous community. They did a good job in showing me everything.

In an effort to have her much closer to family, we moved Mom to Brookdale Johnson City from a larger memory care community in a neighboring state. The difference in her care has been remarkable. Mom's health, general well-being and happiness has improved dramatically at Brookdale, JC. From Administrators to the Healthcare Directors and care-giving staff, the team is well trained, professional, attentive, knowledgeable, kind and welcoming. They treat Mom as if she were their own and celebrate the person she is! I appreciate regular "check-ins" from the staff asking how they can better meet Mom's needs. Brookdale, JC has wonderful enrichment programs, activities and family involvement. The entire experience has been relational and personal--very different from the lack of care and the cold "transactional/business feel" we experienced elsewhere. Brookdale JC is a clean and lovely facility with friendly neighborhoods. Mother is thriving and I highly recommend Brookdale, JC to others.

Recently toured the community, its beautiful! It is so clean & smells so nice! Everyone I come into contact with was very sweet! The residents look nice & well taken care of!

The biggest thing was that every staff member that I talked to genuinely cared. I could not say enough about the staff there. The community is clean and the rooms are really nice and updated it is just a really nice place for your loved one. The staff communicated very well and explained everything that needed to be done. I had an issue with billing once and they took care of it quickly and always returned calls quickly whenever I called them.

When I arrived I was greeted with a smile, temperature and mark was given and I was escorted to the room off patio. Not long after I was given a tour. I did like the layout, everything was clean, pleasant and staff was professional, knowledgeable, and happy. I was so sorry my moms needs were beyond what your home could accommodate.

The staff was so inviting and friendly. I loved how engaged they were with the residents.

The atmosphere is relaxing and calm. The food is delicious. The building is clean and the nurses and aides are very friendly and helpful.

I RECOMMEND BROOKDALE BECAUSE IT IS A PLACE THAT I CALL HOME. IT IS BETTER THAN A APARTMENT. THEY ARE FRIENDLY AND CARE FOR ME.

I truly cannot thank ALL of the staff for all they've done for my aunt & our family! The way the care is amazing.

The staff at this ALF is super friendly and treat the residents like their own family. I highly recommend this ALF. The staff there always have activities to keep residents engage and socialize. If you are looking to move mom and dad to an assisted living facility you can trust this place with their care. This facility has a great memory unit with caring staff as well.

This community seemed to be sterile and did not see really any one inside. I was really looking for socialization for my loved one. It was very nice and I am not sure if it was the time of day or not but I did not really see many people. They were very cordial on the tour and gave them gifts and more but this was just not the community for us in the end.

Our loved one really enjoys the meals but sometimes the dining service can be a slower just to be understaffed. However she loves the dining hall experience and the people that work there. Our loved one does not always participate in the activities but they do seem fine. We think the value for the money is wonderful - the pricing is good and it has been an awesome experience. Overall we have been very happy and we would absolutely recommend Brookdale Loma Linda to other families.
