Brookdale

The Brookdales in Scott’s Valley is an excellent property inside and out. The grounds are well maintained with benches to sit at, outside dining areas and even a small putting green. The best part about inside was the food! 3 meals a day including standards available every day. There are also snacks available in between meals. The room floor plans are simple with 2 types of each (studios . 1 bed rooms and 2 bedrooms ) . The hallways are wide and clean; the dining room is large with lots of seating. The elevators all seemed to be in order and working. I would highly recommend the place except for one drawback. It is expensive with the cheapest units starting at $[removed] per month with 8% rent increases each year. But it is a first class option if you can afford it!

Very clean, fresh smelling and an alive atmosphere!! The apartments are clean and up to date, nice size and every room has a window!! There is a big sense of community! The courtyard is so pretty with lovely chairs to sit and relax in and enjoy and outdoor setting with your loved one!!

I really like the facility, however it came in at over $[removed] per month for level of care we needed.

Brookdale Fort Myers Cypress Lake has been such a blessing during an extremely difficult season. Both of my parents are aging and were no longer able to live on their own. My Mom is in assisted living and my Dad is in memory care. Moving my parents into Brookdale has been a great decision. My parents have both adjusted well and the overall experience has far exceeded my expectations. The staff and leadership has been cooperative and understanding. My parents are safe and happy which is most important. The memory care department has been very helpful for my Dad who as Alzhiemer's and the assisted living has been great for my Mom. [name removed] has been excellent as the executive director and I would highly recommend Brookdale. I am very grateful.

First when you walk in the place is bright, friendly and clean. I was greeted by more than one person . We were given a tour of the entire living area, large nice dining room, inviting living room with lots of seating fireplace and big screen tv. We had lunch and the food was wonderful. The residents that we meet were very happy and sitting outside in a very lovely entry with rockers and chairs lots of flowers and greenery which my mother loved. We were very impressed with sales director and did not feel pressed. She and Executive Director took their time with us and my mother felt cared about. The activities looked fun and engaging. Residents and staff seemed very happy. We will be moving our mother here in July.

My aunt is extremely happy living at Brookdale New Port Richey.

We choose Brookdale for my husband When we had our tour our tour guide Was very comforting and explain that I his spouse could also live here with him. That was very comforting to me and my family so he would not be alone. The activity have been very helpful for it keeps him busy The room has been an adjustment for me (A bit smaller) but very lovely. This environment has been wonderful for my husband everything we were told about Brookdale during the tour. Living here for 6months we have met all residents that we interact with o a daily basis, caring staff that greet you by name and truly have a caring heart This was the first place we looked at and after the tour we were sold. I would recommend this if they asked.

Brookdale was the perfect place for my mother-in-law. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone was professional and compassionate. The facility was spotless and beautifully appointed. The food was delicious and appetizing which is a benefit for seniors appetites. They treated our Helen with care and respect and made her last days comfortable. We can't thank them enough for all they did!

Everyone is very caring and genuinely concerned about the care given. The entire staff is very welcoming. The facility is clean and comfortable- my mother is very happy there.

Our mother, [name removed], has resided at Brookdale Scappoose for several years now. Since we live in Tennessee, it is incredibly important to us that the Brookdale staff care for her like family when we can’t be there. It brings us so much comfort to know that ALL of the staff treat her like family in our absence. They truly take the time to know her specific needs and special likes, ensuring she is comfortable and well-cared for at all hours of the day. When our visits end and we leave to head back home, we never have to worry about Mom’s care. She truly has an extended family environment at Brookdale Scappoose. If you are looking for a place where your loved one will be genuinely known, cherished, and safe, we cannot recommend Brookdale highly enough. They have given our family invaluable peace of mind.

They take great care of my parents and the food is really good. Friendly staff!

Friendly, caring staff that get to know the residents and their families. Familiar staff that have been there regularly (no high turnover). Meals are good quality and served with real plates, silverware and napkins. Patients are clean and tidy and we haven't noticed items missing from their rooms (at another prior facility his clothes items were disappearing and he would have on clothes we did not provide).

From what I've seen, the staff there are caring, gentle and attentive.

Brookdale Browns Creek is a small community that makes it feel like a family. The staff are always kind and responsive, and respectful of residents and their families.

The director, [name removed], was very nice and accommodating to all of our questions. She was friendly to everyone and addressed the residents by name. I would have no issue with recommending Brookdale.
