Brookdale

The staff have been great working with the hospice people to make sure that dad has everything he needs. This community does offer daily activities and they keep it clean. I would recommend this community.

When I toured Brookdale Weatherford, I thought it was a nice place. The reason we did not choose it was because it was assisted living. If my mother were to need memory care, I would have to move her. Brookdale is perfect for assisted living, but it was not a good fit for my mother.

I thought my mother;'s stay at Brookdale was going to be for a short one a month or so, and I was right, but not because she got stronger so she could come home. The decline she had been going through was diagnosed as cancer. After returning from her hospital stay, she was welcomed back and was placed on hospice. The Brookdale staff was attentive, caring to both my family and my mother. They assisted hospice personnel with taking excellent care of my mother until her passing. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a comfortable, safe, and clean place for their loved one.

I thought the staff where very friendly and did an excellent job with giving my loved one and I a tour of there community. They had a spacious dinning room with as well as many different common areas where residents can enjoy time with there families. I have no complaints and would recommend this place to anyone looking.

This is a nice community, but unfortunately my mother in law needed more care than they were able to provide. They did try their best to care for her, but her condition was getting worst. The staff is friendly, and very helpful. They were even willing to work with us regarding the price increase, with her needing more care. It was a good experience, overall this is a kind community. I would recommend it.

We liked this community when we visited. The people we met were nice and helpful. The community seemed clean. This is more for assisted living and my loved one wanted to be in independent living.

The facility was very nice and the staff was friendly. I liked the sliding scale of care. I liked there was a bathtub in the studio and one and two bedrooms I saw all with a kitchenette in room. Some were walk-in and some were not. I would prefer the walk-in. Beautiful dining and commons rooms.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The day of our visit was quite a wet one resulting in very little check out of the grounds although there appeared to be many areas to stroll. This is good because the facility is accessed via a busy highway which would not be a comfortable place to go for a walk. Brookdale Monroe was in the midst of extensive renovations when we visited which affected most of the interior and also affected the normal activities of the residents. Due to this situation, I don't feel I can comment on normal activities. We did have a good lunch.

Brookdale Tyler East was very nice and a very pretty facility. The people were very cordial but I live in Longview and its far for me and not accommodating.

The tour of this community was okay. The staff was knowledgeable and able to answer our questions.

I toured many facilities along with Brookdale MacArthur Park. It was a nice place with nice people, but it was not the best for my loved one.

Brookdale Dover was a nice community. Everyone there was friendly and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. It was just a bit too expensive and we chose to not move her in the Dover area.

My sister in law is at this community, and they are taking good care of her, and her needs. The family is pleased with all they have done for her. We do feel this is a good environment for her. The care staff is very responsive. and good. This is a community I would recommend.

I had a great experience at this community during my tour for my loved one. The staff where very helpful and made sure to answer any questions I had for them in detail. I also thought that they had a great a floor plan and lots of great amenities to offer there residents. Overall I have no complaints and would defiantly recommend this place to anyone.

We toured this community and we were not happy with the community not being clean. the other residents are not active and the staff does not seem to keep them active. We did not like the layout of the community. The staff were nice and answered the questions that we had. We would suggest that other families tour this community for the care of a loved one

We spent a good deal of time visiting memory care facilities, and Brookdale was always our first choice. The location, the activities, the menus, and the dignity shown by all staff has been absolutely great. We are a large family, and that has caused some communication issues to arise. Specifically, when we became aware of our loved one's dementia, the ability to take care of medications was still intact; however, we did not pay attention to the service charge for medication oversight--unfortunately, when our loved one was re-evaluated for admission, it was determined by all that this service was needed. It is very important to be aware of all charges so that you can budget appropriately. I really like how their Facebook page is kept current, and I can see my loved one participating in activities!
