Brookdale

When I toured Brookdale, it felt like more of a hotel than an apartment complex. It was cold and not inviting. Everyone there was very friendly and informative, but it was not what I was looking for. It was quite expensive as well.

I really enjoyed the visit at Brookdale Kingsport guided by [Removed] and meeting [Removed], the Director of this facility. The place has a comfortable, clean feel to it. The residents we spoke to during our visit seemed at home, very comfortable in their various places. Many residents were gathering in the dining room for lunch as our tour neared the end, and they seemed relaxed, looking forward to being social and sharing a meal. The dining room is nicely appointed with comfortable dining chairs and cloth tablecloths and cloth napkins and flowers on the tables. My sister and I especially loved meeting [Removed], one of the resident cats who was waiting to go into the garden. When [Removed] picked him up, this long lovely cat just draped himself across [Removed] arms. Very loving and homey feel to the whole scene. [Removed] walked us through the facility, showing us a couple of apartments, one studio and one larger one-bedroom suite. The ceilings were a nice height and the windows in both apartments were large and had nice window treatments. Each of the apartments was occupied and the furnishings were those of the residents and very beautiful and individual in taste. The outside grounds are well furnished with comfortable, shaded sitting areas and attractive plantings. So, overall, I was very favorably impressed with this community and hope that my father and his wife will attend one of the several music events scheduled in the upcoming month. I would like them to consider this place as a possible way to maintain their independence while still having the support with meals and medications and entertainment right at their fingertips. I know that they could make friends here and be comfortable and enjoy the privacy of their own apartment.

We have chosen a one bedroom apartment in this community. Mom likes this community location, close to shopping and businesses. The staff were all very friendly and caring. The apartment is freshly updated.

I am moving into this community shortly and I am very excited to see what the future holds. The staff have been very helpful on getting me organized for the move as well as welcoming. They let me try one of there meals during my tour and even let me stay the night to make sure I was going to like it. The residents are wonderful and have went out of there way to introduce themselves to me. Overall I am very pleased with what I have experienced.

My father is doing well since his move into Brookdale. I think it is a nice place, however it does take a while for management to respond to emails and requests for things like minor repairs in my father's apartment and inquiries on his billing. Only 5 weeks in, so we will see how it goes.

I toured Brookdale Eagan and I absolutely loved the physical building and the way it is arranged. I was considering them but when all is set and done they would not have been prepared for the level or care that my husband needs.

They offer some amenities at this community. The community seemed clean and I liked the people I met during our tour. This community is more for independent living and we were looking for assisted living.

So far everything is working out pretty well for my loved one, and his move to this community. He is enjoying his time here, and I'am satisfied. I know he is safe, and in good hands. The staff is kind, and friendly. They are helpful, and fairly prompt when responding to my concerns. They do serve well balanced meals. There are nice activities available, but I thought they would take him out on more shopping trips. I would say that would be my only complaint. Overall this is a community I would recommend, it is a nice place.

I have no complaints on how things are going for my father so far at this community. I am comfortable with the quality of care he is receiving and am happy with all of the staff. He has had no complaints about the food and enjoys participating in the activities with the other residents from time to time. I would recommend this place to anyone interested.

Brookdale very nice, but I did not like the looks of it. It was more like a big hotel. My mother would have to go down to a room with a lot of mailboxes to get her mail and the halls were so long. The facility just did not feel personalized.

Mom is doing well at this community and is starting to make friends. She has a few favorite staff members. The nursing director has been supportive and she makes sure mom is being treated well. Mom is not crazy about the food. They do offer a lot of activities to choose from. This community is clean and they were able to furnish her apartment. This is in a good location for us and I would recommend it.

This is a pretty nice community with nice staff. I like the staff who are on the Memory Care side. I get to talk with them when I am there. My mom has a pretty small room with assistance from the staff.

Unfortunately my mother will be needing more care than this community is able to provide, but overall our experience went well. This an awesome community with very caring people. They have a great staff at this facility. Overall it was a pleasant community, and I was satisfied with all they did for us.

Very impressed with the facility, friendly staff, and liked what they had to offer, seemed like very genuine, up front people with very good activities, etc. Do wish there apartments looked more like an apartment with walled off bedroom, etc. but not that important.

I was very impressed with most everything. the people were exceptional, the building was clean. the only drawback is the slow elevator in the main building and the need for updates in the cottages. a few minor things like the wood color and style is old and outdated but still serves a purpose. The tour experience was fine. I got to meet really nice people here. The person who gave the tour was ready to show us and they were answering any questions we had. It looked like a nice place but they did not have what we were looking for.

They seem to have enough staff to handle residents. I've tried the food and it is very good. They could improve the experience by having a faster response time. They also haven't figured the billing information.

My father is well at this community overall. Everything is working out great, and I'am pleased. My father is being cared for very well.

Slightly older than all other facilities but most staff said hello when we were on our tour. Close to a very good hospital, quiet and Management is steller.

My sister in law has been living at Brookdale Chickasha for a year and we have been More than satisfied with her care and the staff has always been courteous. They have frequent guest days and dinners. The residents are entertained like visits from zoo animals, games and exercises. It is by far the best living facility inChickasha
