We visited and liked it a lot. I think this would be a great place. favorite in Camarillo area

The Atria Kew Gardens is comfortable, clean and kosher. They also have caring and helpful staff.

This was a nice community, it was too big for my loved one.

The people who work here are excellent are 80 - 85%. The residents seem grumpy. You eat your meals and go to your room. The activities are really, really boring. Some of them are music and drawing. Not much that peaks my interest. Hopefully they are better during the summer time. The meals are good. They have 2 specials at every meals and alternates if you choose so.

Our tour at Atria Hillcrest was fine. They were our second choice. My loved one had a high level of care needs, and we just felt like the place that we chose could meet those higher care needs better.

On the positive note, my sister has made many friends and is doing activities with people which is exactly what we were wanting to happen. She is frustrated on the administration in some areas. She feels like some rules that come down from the big corporation should not be in place and there is no apparent reason for them. I think the experience has achieved what we wanted and it is fulfilling what we needed.

We thought Atria Bethlehem was a very nice assisted living facility. It was beautiful and very clean, but the apartments were tiny. It also felt more institutional like a nursing home. But the staff we spent time with were great.

I would tell others that the only drawback we have had is that when you move in, there is no one to help you around or tell you when things are happening. Overall I do think its a good facility, but they could have a better intro program with more information for the new residents.

Well, everything is spotless, the food is delicious, everyone is friendly and helpful - but I am constantly asking questions about what, where and when which is my concern now... there is nothing to do. I wish they had a briefing as to what we are supposed to do - also no transport to my church. Must remember to make appointments!

We like the fact that it is a smaller community and clean, but we do think they can improve on their staffing, however we know that is a big struggle for everyone right now. The staff members that are they are doing a terrific job.

This community was large. I felt like my loved one may be not have as much attention with the large amount of residents that they had. Also there was another community that was closer to my home that was smaller. This community was just out of the way and not really what we wanted for our loved one.

Our family had an in person tour and it was nice but they seemed to cater more towards assisted living and memory care and we wanted our loved one t try out independent living first.

The staff are friendly. The apartments are nice sized units. The grounds and buildings are beautiful. It's in a great location. But we're having some struggles right now with the food. They had a chef when my family members first moved in. That chef has since left, and they're really struggling getting a menu together and getting good food to their clientele. There's a fair amount of activities to choose from. But the value aspect is lacking right now because of the food.

The clinical staff come across as wanting to be efficient, but I don't believe that they are. They tend to make a lot of judgements that are not factual, just opinions on their part. As far as the overall cleanliness and the other residents, my mother loves it there. She doesn't like the food though because they don't put any seasoning on it. I like the activities director, and I think the activities are appropriate for what my mother can do.

This community is a little outdated. With covid there are a lot of activities that they cant do right now. The big things that the residents look to they cant really do right now. Also the food isn't that great at this time due to staffing issues.

I would look at other communities and see what they offer vs this community and make your own mind up.

The community wasn't as cleaned or organized as I wanted it to be. The memory care was nice, but too much care than what my loved one would have needed. The menu is Kosher here for everyone.

Our loved one seems to be really enjoying the meals and dining service. The activities are still pretty limited, they have bingo, a few other small games and some stretching classes. Given the circumstances they are trying their best, but right now it is a little disappointing just because our loved one is so active still.

We toured a while back when we were looking for independent living for our loved one. I thought the facility itself was very nice. The apartments were very nice, and some even had garages. There were three levels of care on the premises, which would have been good. The only thing I didn’t care for was the fact that the independent living was across the parking lot from the main facility. So if it was raining, you would have had to walk through the rain to get to the dining hall. Also the only person I interacted with on the tour was the placement person, and I thought she was rather pushy. I wasn’t a fan.
