Atria

After touring several places, I’m excited that my aunt will soon become part of the Atria family. The tour, the number of activities, the levels of care, and the overall beauty of the place left me feeling like I could be happy living at Atria one day.

I visit Atria on a regular basis, and the residents are always very happy, and well taken care of. The staff is friendly, and truly cares about each of them as if they are family. The facility is clean and well maintained, with updates on the horizon. The rooms are spacious, allowing for personal furniture to easily fit for a familiar feel to the living space. Residents have shared that they love the activities and themes that the facility offers during special events, along with guests who provide entertainment and special treats! There is always something happening, and something to do! Atria is home, and it feels that way from the moment you walk through the doors.

My Mother just celebrated her centennial birthday. She has been a resident of Atria Levittown for the past 3 years and our family attributes her continuing good health and great spirits to the caring and competent staff who provide a loving and stimulating environment in which she is thriving. She remains active with activities that are well suited to a senior population, while the young, vibrant care givers and enrichment staff offer a much-appreciated youthful energy. We are grateful for the dedication of those entrusted to the care of our loved ones whom the staff perceive and treat as respected individuals, with a history of accomplishments even though their bodies may be frail.

I went to visit an elderly friend of mine recently. She couldn’t express enough how happy she it there. She loves the live entertainment every week and has made so many new friends that we no longer worry about her being here anymore.

The staff has been great - helpful, answering questions, and giving individual attention to Dad. The building is immaculate and the food in the dining hall is portioned perfectly and quite tasty.

[name removed] gave us a lot of time and attention, very professional, thoughtful, thorough, personable. He answered our every question and even anticipated so much of what we needed to know. The facility is very well organized and maintained, beautiful outdoor spaces as well.

It was beautiful and everyone was friendly. The residents seemed to be very happy. They was a gentleman there on a short term stay and he didn't want to go home.

This place is extremely nice and clean. I enjoyed the lunch meal that we had and the camaraderie with others. [name removed] was great and explained everything. I really like the idea of a nice large park that is close by.

The residents all were well groomed, appeared happy and interacting. [name removed] was lovely I toured the whole facility looked at the room she would be in. Very clean, organized. I felt very reassured leaving, that my loved one would be safe and cared for.

Staff was really lovely....friendly, warm and engaging. Room was clean and pleasant. According to my husband ( who is extremely easy going and not particular) food was decent though portions smallish. Only issue was the charge for the extra care. My husband just needed yo be helped showering. While he was wearing the huge neck brace the Atria had to farm out this service. There were a few mix ups with dates etc, but all resolved towards the end of his 1.5 month stay. All in all id rate Atria a 9 out of 10.

I would give this place 5 stars. I don’t live there, but my mom does, and she really enjoys it. She especially loves the pool and has made friends easily. The people are friendly, and most importantly, she feels comfortable and at home there, which means a lot to both of us. I feel it is reasonably priced for seniors, and they offer lots of activities that keep the residents involved and engaged. Overall, it’s a really nice place, and I feel good knowing my mom is happy and comfortable there. The only downside for my mom is that she feels the food can be a little too salty. They do offer different food options, but I usually shop for some of her food to make sure she has things she enjoys. Overall, I’m very happy with the experience and would definitely recommend it.

I would give a 5 but on the food I have been disappointed. Everything is on target but would love to see the memory care patients get better food like the assistant living group

The Atria was warm and welcoming. They had a lot of patience with my mother in law. The room was spacious and clean. We were very happy with the care and treatment.

The regular studio is really small, the studio deluxe is a reasonable size and the central areas are very clean. Individual rooms need more frequent cleaning, Everyone is very friendly, and the staff even celebrated my loved one's birthday in great style. Both she and I were very impressed. Atria finds regular reasons to celebrate. Recent events have included a luau, football tailgate, taste of New England, grandparents day, etc . The activities on the premises are high quality, varied and engaging. For off the premise activities, they do not accommodate residents in wheelchairs. The new chef seems excellent! I generally would recommend this community to others if they want mentally stimulating activities, good food, friendly staff and fellow residents, and don't need a lot of personal space or nursing care. They keep it a warm and happy place

My mom moved in about a month ago, and it has been one of the best things that she has done. She is enjoying meeting new people and the convenience of not having to cook. The food is great and the staff is excellent and was the friendliest of any of the places that we toured. My mom has been participating in lots of activities like going out to dinner, church service, bingo, and other things. I would highly recommend Atria! [name removed] helped make the transition easy and was always available for questions along the way. Highly recommend!

My mom came for a month of respite after a fall. All of the staff was welcoming and helpful. We were able to arrange home health and PT right in her room. It was nice to have the kitchen for snacks and leftovers. She enjoyed the patio. The food was wonderful. The menu is diverse and has healthy options. It was nice to have plenty of room for friends and family to visit. It really was the perfect place for the situation we were in.

The staff is very friendly and there are activities going on all the time. There are themed activities too such as western day, 60s day and sports team day. The facilty is always clean and fresh. I haven't tried the food but there are several options to choose from. My loved one said the food is very good. She especially likes the desserts. There is a large porch with rocking chairs that is very popular. The facilty is in an area where there is not a lot of car traffic and it is safe to walk around the facilty for exercise.

I have been here at atria since April of this year and really happy that I am in this senior community which is focused on social and not medical. I have a studio apartment which has turned out to be perfectly comfortable in size with plenty of room for all I need and less expensive. The facility is well kept up and offers many many activities and excursions and entertainment. They have their own small theater with movies shown every day at 1:00 and 7:00. The the food is very good with a lot of variety and the dining room staff is very nice and accommodating to one's needs. They offer a lot of various types of activities for exercise such as yoga weights instructions for stretching, balance and you can get guidance from a personal trainer. I have no complaints about Atria and am enjoying living here
