Atria

I found Atria to be a good experience. The was friendly and experienced. And they weren't understaffed. Cleanliness was very good. I got a 1 bedroom t gf at I used as a studio. Had I needed the bedroom I would say it was too small. But they have many floor plans . In general I give Atria a B.

More expensive than I thought it would be. [name removed] was open and honest. Staff seemed friendly and caring.

Staff is really friendly and very engaged. Apartment size is adequate and has a nice balcony. Different entrances and elevators throughout building making thing more convenient. The staff is always cleaning and asking if you need anything. The grounds are very well taken care of. A lot of good activities like musical guest, field trips, bingo and many more. Food is good and they have 2 different menus for you to choose from. One with daily specials and one with Food that is available every day.

My fav things: Room size and bathroom size are great! Reminds me of hotel style. Food is excellent with great selection! [name removed] the sales mgr is extremely responsive and goes above and beyond. [name removed] the Life Guidance Director is AMAZING she's relatively new to Atria Merrimac Place so she's making some changes that I think will improve quality of care. She makes herself very available and was great with all our questions, "issues" etc as we adjusted to moving my Dad in

We liked the staff. There were lots of fun activities. The food was good. The center is clean. My Dad's apartment was small. A concern of ours was that he fell in his room when he was woken up for his medication. He cut himself badly and had four broken ribs and had to go to the hospital. The staff at Atria Del Rey never called to check on him, and that really upset us.

Mom was very happy with the food and dining service but now she states the food has become horrible especially on the weekends. An example would be tacos for lunch and pizza for dinner. It would also take her 40 minutes from the time she ordered her food to go to actually receiving it. Also the housecleaning isn’t up to her standards but what can you expect when they have multiple apartments to get clean each week. She wants it done like she would clean her house but that isn’t feasible. She does love Bingo!

We are so grateful for the Sales Director, [name removed] at Atria Forest Hills senior living community. From day one, he has been incredibly kind, approachable, and genuinely invested in the well-being of the residents. He understands that even the smallest details matter and always does everything he can to make families and residents feel cared about. His joyful personality brings so much light to the community. What touches our hearts the most is his patience. Even when our aunt cannot remember who he is, he remains sweet, patient, and always reassuring. It is such a comfort knowing he is there looking out for her.

I particularly liked all the greenery, nature. The bedroom is a little small. Your prices are reasonable, but I don't want/need 3 meals a day.

They were very welcoming and accommodating. The facility was clean and vibrant. The food was high quality. It's a wonderful place for seniors.

Staff are great. Particularly helpful to me have been Sales Director [name removed] and Residents Services Director [name removed]. Super responsive to emails and texts. Also, my sister's apartment has been serviced very well by staff in areas of cleaning, laundry, food-tray delivery and med management. The size of the studio is sufficient for basic furniture with ample space for moving around with a walker or wheelchair. Personal deliveries to Atria are brought to residents' apartments by staff.

the staff was friendly. the apartments were all facing open space and was in a circuit like many others. Its vibe seemed to fit my mother better; by that I mean the description of the pace and emphasis on my mother being a guest as much as a resident. The tour validated it. On two subsequent visits, one with my mother, it just reinforced the feeling.

Overall, the staff is attentive and the facility is clean. The price is a little high. The food is good. The apartment size is average.

Atria is extremely well-run and organized. The staff are highly professional and dependable. The facility is clean and cheerful. The studio apartment is large with a picture window that lets in lots of natural lighting. There is a small sink, mini refrigerator and cupboard in the kitchen area. There's ample storage in a linen closet with shelving across from the kitchen. Additionally, there is a separate large clothing closet with sliding doors. The bathroom is large with a roll in shower. Overall, a good experience for us.

The staff at Atria are all very friendly and helpful. There's a pretty good variety of activities on a daily basis--donuts & bingo is probably the most popular activity! The apartment size is good overall--studio deluxe has a small refrigerator and a private bathroom with plenty of room for a full size bed, and a small dining table with a few chairs. My dad's room gets plenty of natural sunlight through the window, when he remembers to open the blinds. Overall, we've been quite happy with Atria so far.

The staff, food, and everything was good. It was very pricey. I would recommend them to others who are searching for care for their loved one.

Nice well cared for facility. The person in charge gave us our tour. It was our first such tour so have nothing to compare it too. She was very kind and informative. I was not feeling well so didn't stay for lunch or get to see the memory unit. It's a little farther way from where we would prefer to be but we'll make that decision down the road.

Overall experience has been good. Only complaint is the food. Temps are cold when [name removed] eats it. She stated to me it was ok but not great. Stated food repeats often + no choice in what to eat. Please note she is in memory care. We went to the dining room downstairs while I was there and the food was mediocre. Not great and I found it on the lukewarm side. Dessert was good. Care staff are good. Room size is good with lots of space.

The staff has been friendly and accommodating. The spaces are kept very clean and the food is good. I have visited fairly often with other family and the staff and residents have been friendly and welcoming.

My mother-in-law is very happy at Atria Briarcliff Manor. She always comments how nice both the staff and other residents are. I've called her to find out she's at a talk in the parlor about "This Day in History" and I was still at home in my pajamas! The 3 meals x day have helped her gain back the unhealthy (scary) amount of weight she had lost before moving to Atria. She lives in a studio apartment that seems just right size-wise.

Everything has been great so far and the staff have been very friendly and accommodating The only complaint my father in law keeps telling us about is the food. He says he feels that sometimes its cold and bland. But we feel he just has nothing else to complain about so that's okay. Unfortunately he has not been participating much with activities yet so we can't speak to it. Being on the memory care side with him still having his memory intact for the most part, he complains that the other residents dont really converse with him
