Eastcoast Caregivers provided my family much needed assistance in transitioning my husband from the Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough, back to our home in Falmouth Maine. Eastcoast Caregivers is located at 94 Auburn Street, Portland, Maine and is owned and operated by [name removed] and her husband [name removed]. Our family met with [name removed]to discuss my husband's care needs. [name removed]is extremely knowledgeable, and she gave us options on the cost of care and was a delight to work with. [name removed]developed a plan of care in great detail. [name removed]made sure to attend all the meetings with the nursing home and he provided valuable knowledge and advice. He was always encouraging and by our side in a critical and stressful chapter of our life. [name removed]ensured our home was up to house safety and fall prevention standards. He introduced us to the skilled and compassionate caregivers who would be in our home. We thank them for being by our side every step of the way. [name removed] and Family

The people, flexibility, rate, location and care has been wonderful. Caregiver comes to my Mom's house/ hospital. Excellent organization. I also would like to add they didn't have a "minimum" of like 4 hours. It allowed more flexibility in planning care!

First Light came to my parents house to care for them. The care was definitely a 10. The cost was very high bc they needed 24 hr care for 2 months. They meals they made were great. Cleaned my mom's and dad's house. I couldn't asked for better care than doing it myself.

We used Hummingbird for only a few days before my father went to a memory care home. The owner of Hummingbird was absolutely wonderful. The aides that he send were very capable and caring. I would absolutely use them again if we ever needed help, and I would absolutely recommend Hummingbird to friends.

Overall experience was very positive. Both phone and in person staff very friendly And empathetic. While services were only used briefly, they were well worth the cost. My wife was already in hospice care when we engaged your services. The health care attendants who visited helped with personal hygiene. In doing so, they showed caring and tenderness. They helped my wife to end her life with dignity and respect.

Endeavor Home Health Care Care Now Services [name removed] is a wonderful aide. She Helps me with laundry, and all the housekeeping Chores. I look forward to having her come. Endeavor has been very good to work with

My Dad really bonded with [name removed], the care giver. That was important to me. She took excellent care of him.

My mother had Alzheimer's but desperately wanted to stay in her home. We hired Home Instead and they provided us with an excellent daily caregiver to help my mom. The entire company was positive, supportive communicative and easy to work with. I highly recommend them if you need in home care for an aging or ill loved one.

It was a wonderful experience to receive such Great accomodation from the service you provide. Everything is quite good. I love the way you render your services to your client. I would like to recommend it to my friends and relatives.

Everything is going very well. My helper from Senior Helpers is prompt and courteous. I couldn't ask for a better aide. I just wish it weren't so expensive.

Overall, in a word, OUTSTANDING! I cannot say enough about how wonderful [name removed] is for my mom. She's a perfect match. One you love home care did an amazing job with this pairing. [name removed] is wonderful at taking my mom places. I'm soooo grateful. This has great value for me. My life has been transformed I never worry about my mom anymore. [name removed] has worked magic for both my mom and me.

Nova was a brand-new agency and the Owner eager to offer the kind of services she had been offering when with [agency name removed] and the old owner. We signed a new contract the first week in [date removed]. The billing has been seamless; I get invoices on Sunday to review, and they are drawn from the bank on Monday. The cost/hour increased tov[fee removed] to reflect inflation and their mileage costs, etc. Our service usage has always been irregular; we need a companion for [name removed]when I am away; no need for a caretaker on a daily basis. We are contracted for a minimum of 12 hours/week; frequently we don’t use all that time, but still pay for it. My massage therapist is out of commission due to an injury, and I have not found another for the time being. We have had a number of caregivers; most were seasoned and trained ( I think transfers from [agency name removed]). We had one that was definitely not a good match, and we mutually agreed to not have her back. Currently we have a steady regular that we both really like. However, she is trying hard to get on with the USPS, which will mean a change. We live in Los Lunas, and apparently it is difficult to get caregivers to travel here (only 25 miles from Abq.). So far, we are happy with Nova. [name removed]is always responsive, by phone or text. W have never, to date, had a “no show”. [name removed] has covered a shift when she could not get someone to fill in on short notice. The cost is significant weekly, but well worth it for a number of reasons, which includes my being able to get out and have mental health time, as I am the social butterfly half of this team.

[name removed] made sure to attend all of the meetings with the [facility removed] staff to stay updated on my husband’s care and transition plan and he provided valuable knowledge and advice. He was always encouraging and by our side

I hired this company to help take care of an older relative. They were professional, caring, patient, respectful, and knowledgeable. I chose to keep in touch with them because I certainly will be using them again in the future. Great reliable company with very affordable pricing.

Senior Helpers of Geneva is providing in-home care for my parents who are in their 80's. All of our family members live out-of-area, and we needed someone to take care of cleaning, cooking, shopping, driving to doctor appointments, etc. [name removed] and [name removed] do a great job. Very professional. Harding working. They really care. [name removed] used to be a nurse and understands senior care. [name removed] runs the business side of things. They have done a great job of building a team of caregivers. The world needs more providers like Senior Helpers of Geneva. It's not cheap, but a good value for what they do.

I needed help for my dad while my mom was in a care center recovering from surgery. We set an appointment and the meeting went very well and we were hooked up with a care taker named "[name removed]". She came over to meet my dad and get the feel of the house and her duties. They hit it off very quickly and I felt very comfortable and assured that my dad was in good hands. Seniors Helping Seniors was the perfect answer for my family as my parents for now do choose to remain in their home. I highly recommend them.

We live 3 hrs away. Mom was losing short term memory. She needed help with laundry and meals. This was a good option. Only negative was that the visit notes were not accurate. The care giver does not enter every little task that they do so the reports are mostly copy pasted forward and could give a false impression of what that visit entailed. The caregiver said that they only have a short note box that they can update when they log their time. This was unfortunate because the visit note portal was a big portion of my decision to go with Home Instead. I would still recommend them, but with the caveat that the visit reports may not be accurate. You have to talk to the caregivers to know how things are going. (Always the best option if you can do it.)

We were able to keep our dad at home for over two years because Right at Home brought in caregivers for 20 hours a week. They were always reliable, even with a few minor communication issues, they always showed up and provided our dad two great caregivers the entire time. We also appreciated their pricing staying the same so that we could continue with the care in order to keep him home and out of a nursing home. My family and myself highly recommend Right at Home and want to thank them for caring for him and working with us up until his passing. They're a great company.
