Care Cardinal was bought out around the time that we moved my mom. The place we had planned to move her to, was closed and so we ended up at another place which gave her adequate care. I was frustrated that in a few days time we were told yes and then we were told no. We moved her into another one of their places which was a long drive for me. I had been looking for some place close. So it was a hard move, hard on my mom and hard on me but mom adjusted and so did I. The care was ok. I see problems with most places although that care for memory care patients. I hear so many frustrations. I found there were good people working there and that is what I choose to focus on. My mom was content and she also had hospice care which gave a higher level of care for her than I think she would have had with just the place she was at.

My mom's building is clean and nicely decorated. My mom loves the food. Her private room is beautiful! Also big with a bedroom, living room and bathroom. They have lots of things to do. Mom loves and wins at bingo quit often. There is however problems with laundry. They take her basket to wash and bring it back with someone else's clothes. Almost every time. She's "lost" almost all her clothes. I have spoke to staff many times but nothing gets done. This is very stressful for her. 95 % of staff are wonderful and are very helpful with good attitudes. I would recommend this place if laundry was done properly.

I would say that the person who is going to live there needs to be pretty well off to afford it, but it's a nice place with good activities and food if you can comfortably afford it.

Our biggest issues have been with getting her billing correct and at times they've only had 1 person on staff. Staff is very nice. We like that it is smaller, more personalized and cleaner than other facilities we looked at.

Good value for the money. Nice, clean common areas and activities. Main floor staff good. (Care services if needed so-so, inconsistent.)

My loved one is currently a resident at Sodalis Superior Township. I think it would be helpful if they set up a few family meetings during the transition to Assisted Living. I also think it would be easier to work through the bumps and things if there was a weekly Forum for the first month or so.

Crystal Creek was my least favorite facility that I visited for the price and for the living space. Again the residents seemed way older than my loved one and needed more care than she did.

We picked this community because it was clean, and close by. My loved one wasn't happy there. I wouldn't recommend it. One huge problem is that many of the staff on their independent nursing floor are mean. Yes, mean. Shouldn't be in that position.

I feel like the prices quoted were very different than what was billed. But if it's affordable for someone it's a great place to have a family member live.

Our family had an in person tour and it was just an okay tour experience, but we do believe they are now making some updates and changes to freshen up the place

They sold me on Medicaid waiver and I told them how much my loved one made and they acted like they did not know the finances of Medicaid waiver which shocked me. I thought they would be on top of that sine they are a facility that takes Medicaid. I did have to move my loved one out of here due to that.

Make sure you get everything in writing as far as the financial aspect. They need to improve on their billing system. Make sure your monthly bill is coming out of your account. The nursing staff is great and they do a good job. I would recommend it, as it is a nice place. My loved one has adapted well.

I would say to maybe look around more for another community for your loved one. Two of my loved ones have been here and when my first loved one was here it was new and now it is not as new. My current loved one does not mind the looks as much. I feel like they do not have the staff to be able to do more with the residents. I have to go pick up my loved one to take him to go get his hair cut and any grooming done.

Dad liked floorplan but did not like area it was in. Food plan was great offering 3 meals a day. They pay everything but cable so would still have that expense floor plan we liked was the 1 bedroom at $2300 /mo. which is more than [removed]

This facility was very sufficient and affordable. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

On my tour I saw a dark, dingy and very old community. I was shown a mode room. There was mold in the bathroom and the mirror was falling apart. I was taken back and not satisfied.

We had to move out of this community as they were not able to care for my wife's needs. They charged us for extras that some of the staff did not have the qualifications to help with. Some of the staff are nice and others are not as nice. The food is pretty good. This community is not as well managed as other communities in the area. I am not sure I would recommend this community.

I was able to take a tour of the community and I must say that they need a remodel. The apartments were nice and looked like they had been remodeled, but the rest of the community was falling apart. The hallways were bad and so were the doors.

Everything is going well and I hope improvements in cleaning will get better. My mother-in-law's room could use better cleaning, especially in her bathroom. We feel that it is not meeting our standards. The care is adequate here. The staff are very good but I have observed they are shorthanded with staff people.
