Smaller facility 75 + 25 in Memory area - loved everything and everyone at Brandywine.

Very much liked this one. Will be the first one I contact when the situation is right.

The home is lovely. I was very pleased with it. They take VA benefits and that was helpful to hear.

Great place but cost out of our range

This place is top of the line in clean and festive. People were up early Sunday at the beauty shop and hanging around. A little too far and more expensive.

What stood out the most is how friendly the staff and residents are to everyone. And how clean everything is. There are many activities daily.

Quality of care is excellent. Room sizes vary. My sister's room is large. Others are smaller. Activities are fair. They have a guitar player come in several times a week and the staff also keeps them involved in games.

All of the staff members are very nice and the community is kept very clean. The community is fairly close in location to us, and everything is open all of the time which we like. Our loved one is not able to participate in the activities, but what we have seen they seem fine and they do offer plenty. The value for cost is about the same as other communities and overall we have been pretty pleased.

I would say to look into Bella Terra. My loved one waited to long to go there, and I think she would've been happier if she went sooner. I thought the food was good to better than good. The apartment that my loved one lived in was nice, spacious, and beautiful.

The times I have been there, the pace is clean and the staff are friendly. During the Covid-19 pandemic, they did a good job with keeping the residents safe. Overall, they are very good with keeping our family informed of my sisters care, which was important to us. They do seem to have a lot of activities available and my sister seems to enjoy them.

My mom has been a resident at Brandywine for over five years. Several factors have contributed to the value of assisted living at Brandywine. First, the Executive Director is passionate about care. She is instrumental in her dedication to all residents, plus she has remained in her position for a long time. Her staff, from the 24x7 nurse staff, the dining staff, and the activities staff all pride themselves on providing excellent care and service. Their communication skills in good times and in bad always give me a sense of comfort thus giving me "peace of mind', which is priceless. Throughout my mom's residency at Brandywine, I have gotten to know most of the staff (especially the nurses) on a first name basis. They are second to none...they care by the always needed communication and concern they provide! The activities staff makes life entertaining...with Bingo, Music, Dancing, Games, Manicures,etc. Having not just word of mouth but constantly showing that you care day in and day out separates this location and for that I am truly thankful!

I am very happy with the care my parent is given here. Most of the aides are there for you...As in any situation, you have to be on top of things but for the most part all is well. My parent does have a hard time with vision and I wish the staff would help with their meal choices because lunches and dinners are always the same.

This is an excellent Assisted Living Facility. The interior is clean, inviting, and well-appointed. Hallways and rooms always smell fresh. Residents are able to have choice of meals and can request as much food as they want. Staff is conscientious, caring and attentive. There are numerous activities planned for every day.

My mother recently moved into Spring Meadows Trumbull and instantly became at home there. The move in for her was made smooth and painless by [name removed] who always made himself available for our questions and help. When she arrived the staff immediately started to find out her likes and dislikes to get to know her. From housekeeping to maintenance to personal care staff and nursing; they are top notch. We really appreciate you all and thank you very much for what you do.

My mother was one of the first residents to move into Brandywine several years ago. She would like to stay in her room and isolate until the activity director [name removed], came on the scene. Now my mom takes extension classes at Brandywine from Ramapo College, she goes on excursions to fun places, plays poker and blackjack twice a week with a real dealer. [Name removed] really puts such an emphasis on keeping the resident's minds busy and active. Thank you [name removed]

My mother lived at Brandywine Assisted Living in Melville, NY for almost 8 years, from age 92-99.5. I cannot say enough good things about the staff, both in the assisted living and in the memory care unit (Reflections) where she lived for her last 2 years. Kind, compassionate, professional people, all, from the nurses to the care managers to the food service workers to the janitorial staff. They made my mother's "bonus years" safe, comfortable and happy. My mother adjusted quickly and referred to Brandywine as her "castle" where she felt like the queen. Thank you for all you help and care. We will be forever grateful.

My wife was diagnosed with Alzheimer's eight years ago and entered the memory unit at Brandywine four years ago. I cannot overstate my gratitude for the loving care my wife received from the day she entered until the day she died. I visited nearly every day and was constantly impressed by the quality of care from the CNA's, the professionalism of the Nurses, and the concern and support of the administration.

My mom lived at the Savoy for 3 years. During that time, we got to know many of the staff. They are wonderful people. The care they showed really helped. A smile, knowing our names and their dedication are unsurpassed. I cannot say enough good things about the Savoy. Everyone looking in this area should check them out

Mom was very sad after dads passing. She was never quite right after that. Several years later she was diagnosed with dementia. Of course she didn't want to leave her home, but, we all knew it was time. She declined very rapidly. I was so happy I found a place that actually felt like home. The Reflections unit was perfect. She was confused and extremely sad... But Governor's brought her smile back and gave her a wonderful final year. She was treated with dignity and respect. There are simply no words to describe how grateful I am for Brandywine and the loving, caring staff at Governor's Crossing. [Name removed] has a heart of gold and went above and beyond for my mom and every one of those residents. She kept them happy and always involved. [Name removed] is a great nurse who always knows what's medically happening with all of her patients. Everyone is always smiling. Great employees, great place!
