Fabulous place!

When you walk into the lobby you are greeted very nicely. They offer many different activities all day long. They seem to engage the residents to participate In the activities. The dining area is kept very clean.The staff smile and appear very friendly and courteous! I asked to see an apt. there.It is very bright inside and kept immaculately!The apt I had seen had a kitchen,living room,bedroom and full bath. The residents that I got to see and speak with appeared to be very alert and friendly with one another. I truly liked what I had seen in all aspects. Very cheerful environment for elderly people that should not be living alone in old age. They are too lonely living alone! I recommend this assisted living facility highly. Our mother moved from another assisted living facility where the service was on the decline. Brandywine was a great breath of fresh air. The entire facility is top notch. The staff is well managed and well trained. They are all truly caring at heart and it shows in the respect and love they show to all of their charges.

I have been on the search for the right place for weeks and seeing everyplace in Westchester and parts of NJ, I have decided on the Fountains at Rivervue for so many reasons. Having toured a couple times with [Removed] and even the administrator [Removed], I couldn't be happier with my decision to move my mom here. They have been so welcoming and honest from the beginning. None of that sales talk but honest and comforting conversations putting me at ease knowing my mother will be in great hands. The food has been by far the tastiest and a true restaurant experience. The staff are friendly and so helpful in all areas. Most importantly my mom is loving it more and more each day and throwing herself into activities, trips and building friendships with her neighbors. If anyone is like me and looking for the best place for their loved one, this is it. Thank you to the Fountains for truly making us all feel right at home.

This is actually a independent living residence, not an assisted living facility. The rooms are large and lovely, the rent, very reasonable, the staff seemed very helpful. It includes three meals a day, activities, and housekeeping, but there is no care included (personal laundry, med mgmt, etc.). I liked that the residents seemed more diverse than any other place I'd visited, but that probably has to do with the Queens location.

My father has lived at Brandywine Mahwah for over 18 months, first in Assisted Living and currently in the Memory Care unit. I visit once a week on average. The executive director, nurses and staff are at the same time professional and compassionate. They have anticipated my father's evolving needs and tailored his care to meet them. I can rely on the executive director, on-site nurses and visiting physicians to take or promptly return my calls. The facility is beautifully maintained, with amenities that include an exercise pool and an outdoor patio dining area. I particularly appreciate the special events, which allow me to visit with Dad in an atmosphere made festive by music, decorations and special menus. Despite his challenges, Dad recognizes he's well-cared for. Can't get him to move closer to me.

Having never visited an Assisted Living facility before, I had no idea what to expect. That said, 2 years later, I have been very impressed by the care, overall cleanliness, food, but most importantly the staff. They are engaged, encouraging, interacting and seem to be genuinely happy to be working there. They try to get the residents involved in their many activities which include exercise and art classes, music, movies, card and other games bingo, entertainment and special events and day trips. Also, their chocolate chip cookies are great. I highly recommend Brandywine.

When it became apparent that out mother could no longer remain in her home of over 30 years, my brothers, sisters and I began looking for the best place for her to relocate. We visited several assisted living residences near her home so she could stay close to her friends and activities. Ultimately, together with her, we chose Brandywine in Wall Township. This turned out to be a perfect fit for many reasons. Close proximity to my sister was indeed one but most importantly was how easily mom integrated into the residence and it became home. Because of the open embrace by the staff she never felt like “the new kid in school.” She participated in many of the activities and outings and made new friends quickly. As her health began to fail, we knew that she was in the care of compassionate professionals who would treat her with respect and dignity. Moreover, we knew that they would keep us apprised of any changes. My sister visited every day with her dog and they knew what that meant to my mother. When we called to check on her, we were never treated like we were inconveniencing anybody, it was more like our call and our mother were the most important thing at that time. In her last days, mom continued to be treated with dignity and respect by the entire staff. My sister and I too were treated with kindness and compassion beginning at the main lobby by the office staff, through the bistro and the dining room by the servers, and by all of the caregivers and nurses in the Refection’s unit. [removed] and [removed] should be commended for the residence they manage. We NEVER second guessed our choice of Brandywine in Wall and are thankful that mom’s last year was spent in a clean, caring, compassionate home.

So far, Sunrise has been a good fit for my mother. I would recommend this community because they are taking good care of her and have good activities. My mother has partaken in exercise programs, singing, and music events. She is becoming more comfortable. Everyone has different needs and I feel that Sunrise fit hers best.

Our mom has been a resident of Brandall Estates for the past 2 1/2 years. We have been so pleased with the facility and the entire staff. They are caring and responsive to both mom's needs and any concerns we have ever had. We are amazed by the dedication of the administrators--[Removed], who are always available to talk over any concerns we have for mom. We would recommend Brandall without hesitation to anyone considering an assisted living facility for a loved one or for themselves.

As a former resident of Brandywine, I had an “inside” opportunity to experience my stay first hand. I was living in the White Mountains of NH. After my husband’s death my Children wanted me to move closer to them. After visiting several places they decided on Brandywine in Howell NJ. This was supposed to be a short respite stay which turned into almost four months. From the moment I and my cat Foxxy arrived I was greeting warmly by the staff who brought me to my new apartment. After receiving my pendent it was time for dinner. I chose the late hour and was seated at a table with two other residents whom I got to know and care for very much. I made many friends there. I love the options you have at each meal. The cooks really tried to please the residents. I also enjoyed many of the activities offered each day. Every staff member I came in contact with was friendly and helpful. Including, house cleaning, aides, dining room staff, wellness, administration, and maintenance crew. Brandywine is a very nurturing, safe, peaceful place to live. At this point my Doctor, children and I feel I am able to live in an Independent Living facility. Should my needs change in the future I would gladly return to Brandywine in Howell.

This is by far the nicest community I have ever been to. My grandmother was in another assisted living a few years prior to this one opening and I was never able to visit her as it always just made me sad. Boy do I wish she was still around to see this place. It gives the feeling of walking into a 5star hotel! She would have loved this community and I would have been here visiting daily enjoying all the fabulous amenities with her! I know where I'll be moving when the time comes!

We toured this community when looking for my mother-in-law. It was a nice community but overall it wasn't a good fit for my love done.

On our first visit to Brandywine in Litchfield, Connecticut we met [Removed]. Her warm welcome and introduction to her colleagues during the tour of the facility immediately put us at ease. As we walked through the hallways her sincere kindness and consideration of each of the residents we met along the way was apparent. [Removed] continues to answer all of our questions and addresses our concerns, as does the entire staff at Brandywine. The Brandywine facility is beautiful and well maintained, the meals are wonderful and the atmosphere is cheerful and inviting with an extensive offering of activities. Moving from Florida into an assisted living community has been a difficult transition for our mother, but the wonderful care and attention she receives reassures her, and us. We highly recommend Brandywine.

I have been a resident at Brandywine Senior Living at Mahwah for almost a year.  I am very happy and comfortable here and I am pleased I made the decision to move here.  My apartment is spacious and well-appointed, with amenities I did not find elsewhere, such as a large bathroom with handicapped-accessible fixtures.  The bedroom is roomy with adequate closet space.  The furniture that I brought with me works nicely in the living space. The building boasts a therapy pool, well-appointed activity rooms, a large theater, and a tap room for refreshments.  Heating and cooling is comfortable and very reliable.  A powerful generator backs up the power in the building in case of an outage, and provides a steady internet signal throughout the building.  The dining experience is good, with tasty meals and snacks available all day.  A full schedule of activities and entertainment is outlined in a daily schedule.  Finally I must comment on the competent and very caring staff.  They provide a high level of care day and night and assistance is always a push of a button away.

My family has had a wonderful experience with Brandywine Senior Living at Seaside Pointe. My uncle, who suffers from Alzheimer's, is being so well cared for there. My dear Aunt has spent the last couple years researching her options, worrying about every detail of his future. The staff at Brandywine, especially Heidi, have held her hand and made the transition as smooth as we could have possibly hoped for. Once he moved in, the only thing left for my Aunt to do was wonder how he was doing when she wasn't there...but Heidi has even helped her with that by communicating frequent updates on how well he is settling in. The staff has learned his habits so quickly and during visits it's been obvious that he is safe and cared about. My aunt has finally been able to relax after all these years.

Where did nine years go? If the time passed by so quickly it must have meant that the experience at Brandywine Moorestown Estates was a good one. It was much more than that. It was an extraordinary outpouring of caring and affection for another human being that we have never seen before. It was not only directed to our mother/mother in-law, but to all of the residents. Both of us have witnessed this in Assisted Living, Skills, and Reflections. How do you have one hundred percent of your staff come to work everyday with a positive attitude and a smile on their face? We know that people have had bad days when they come to work but, the staff at Brandywine never displayed anything but love. One new hire after another had proven to be an outstanding choice. We marveled at your vetting practice, for new employees, for a number of years. We finally found the answer. We saw your employment ad. It ended with, Only Angels Need Apply.

I have been an ambulette driver for 15 years and transporting people all over the NJ and NY area. In my 15 years of transporting different people to different facilities, I have never been so amazed by a welcoming from a facility. Yesterday transport to The Fountains for a couple moving in blew me away. Truly the most professional and best welcoming I have ever seen in all my 15 years on the job! I would highly recommend The Fountains to anyone in search.
