Long Hill

I found Carriage Inn Conroe to be an excellent independent living facility, residents are all age groups over 70 to 100s and various stages of ability. The safety was very good, in that doors are monitored, the variety of food every meal was good, Chef [name removed], the kitchen staff and servers were there every day and very caring, friendly and knew what each person liked. Many took food to go to eat in their apartments. The housekeeping staff are awesome, very kind, carefully changing the bed, excellent cleaning of the apartments. The maintenance staff is quick about repairs and replacement of light bulbs or other things. They were there every weekend. The administrative staff are always there, helpful with questions, getting whatever is needed, etc. The residents are a family, talking and helping one another, asking a staff member to help someone. Everyone receives a free Life Alert in case of a fall or needs help. The director and her staff are super in their management of a clean and pleasant facility. Some residents have cats or dogs that do not bother others. The only negative side is the laundry room is not in apartments but shared near the dining room. Some residents on walkers travel down long hallways to the laundry. Another nice item is the staff takes residents to the doctors, shopping, and to fun things like concerts, plays, boat rides on Lake Conroe, Church, etc., some for which you pay

I have lived here for since 2019.This is a very enjoyable place to live. The facility is well run, and I enjoy the way the staff conducts themselves toward the residents. Also, the residents are friendly and easy to relate to.

The title says it all. My Mother is happy! More active! Healthier! She is having fun and is more social than in years. She likes the food. She lives bingo. She is still independent but feels safer and more secure. That makes all of us kids happier.

Very nice layout, well maintained. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to take extra care of their residents. The food is exceptional compared to others. [name removed] will take especially good care of any and all of your needs.

My dad has lived at Carriage Hills since [date removed] and absolutely loves it. He has made so many friends, goes to activities, field trips, parties. He says the only thing he regrets is not going sooner!!

Only thing I would change is housekeeping, they don't clean the apt/unit very well (it's weekly). We just paid for someone to come in and clean thoroughly. My parents attend several activities, enjoy the food, they have lots of food items. They have met several people. Very pleased!

My parents love the food! The staff is excellent, just heads and shoulders above what we even expected. We couldn't be more pleased. We would 100% recommend Stoney Brook to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

So difficult losing my spouse, selling my home making my life easier and making new friends Carriage Inn Katy, Tx has met all challenges that I was having. Been here one year and am very happy. It's like a new large family. There's always something going on - games, special occasions, parties, etc. Meals are very good ,the service wonderful. Housekeepers and lawn care are furnished as well as maintenance on your apartment. All in all, think I made the right choice for myself. I recommend it to anyone who is having a problem on what to do when your life style canges

Staff is very helpful with any and all questions. Always friendly and willing to help. It's a peaceful place. That's wad my first thought when I walked thru the doors

I've been pleased with the facility and the people. I don't think my folks love everything food wise but do like that they have other choices available. Staff is friendly and attentive. Wish they had washer/dryers in the units but laundry rooms are convenient and clean.

I would highly recommend the Carriage Inn Katy to anyone looking for a place for their loved one needing memory care services. My wife has been there for a few years and I am extremely happy with the wonderful care my wife receives at the Carriage Inn. The staff is caring, very professional and makes everyone feel like they are special. The facility decor, activities, and entertainment are amazing. Always something to do with caring staff. The Studio apartment is 500 sq. ft., which is perfectly arranged.

I can't say enough good things about Carriage Inn Lake Jackson. As soon as you walk in their doors, you can feel the warmth from every single staff member. They truly care about their residents and are willing to help in any way they can. The Life Enrichment Team is especially amazing! They work so hard to have unique programs, like music therapy for memory care, and events to make sure their residents enjoy the later years of their life.

My mom spent the final two years of her life at Village on the Park in Friendswood. I couldn’t have had her in a better place. She was very happy with the accommodations, the meals, and the activities. Don’t let the fact that Village on the Park is independent living scare you off if your loved one needs assistance. They maintain a list of well qualified caregivers. Highly recommend this place.

I moved my dad in to Memory Care almost three years ago. He was taken care of by the sweetest and most compassionate ladies. Yes, there is somewhat of a staff turnover because they are not paid what they're worth. Sadly, we lost him last June. My mom moved in to Independent Living just a few weeks after his passing. The house was just too much for her to take care of. It was a difficult decision for her, but she has come to realize that this is exactly where she needs to be and tells me so almost every time that I talk to her. There was no question about which facility she would move to because of the care that my dad had received. My mom was familiar with Carriage Inn and the folks who work there. She has made many new friends and is very happy living in her new home. I no longer have to worry whether she's eating properly or is safe.

Carriage in is a great place. If the people would like to be involved, they offer a lot of activities and entertainment for the folks to be part of. I can't say my mom is happy there , but she tolerates it and I visit often. I go to acrylic art class with her and whatever else we can get involved in. Sundays I do her medications and visit.
