Long Hill

My in-laws moved into The Carriage Inn about 2 weeks ago. They left their single-family home of 32 years to move into a one-bedroom apartment at The Carriage Inn. They are still in the adjustment period but find the place classy, clean and bright. For the most part, they find the meals delicious with few exceptions. They find everyone there both staff and residents to be very friendly and inclusive. They are easing into some of the activities offered at The Carriage Inn. Fridays are the best! After lunch there is an ice cream social followed by Happy Hour and live entertainment.

Everyone I've worked with here has been very friendly and helpful, and the facility is well maintained. The rooms themselves are also quite nice. The only small issue I've seen is sometimes they are not overly aggressive when it comes to small cleaning details in the rooms, like dusting. However, they're very responsive and will happy take care of any issue you're having immediately!

They were super super nice. The cottages were great. It really depends on what you need and what you're looking for. I thought this was a really really good facility. They had a mixture of people which was good an they are pet friendly.

The staff was really friendly the apartment was really nice food was good. I give it four stars because of the management staff.

Met [name removed] at appointment time. She was very gracious and toured the facility and answered all of my questions. She did an excellent job of follow-up as well as assess Mom's needs while at another facility. It seems clean, reasonably well-staffed, and competitively priced for the area. If you are searching, I would definitely recommend giving Carriage Inn a hard look.

The rooms were especially spacious, including the closet! What clinched the deal for my mom was the her suite doors that open to an outdoor, ground level terrace where she sits on her patio chairs to let her dog outside. Staff is friendly and responsive.

Overall I am very happy with Carriage Inn and the care they are providing my Mom. They do a good job of keeping me posted on her wellbeing and caring for her.

The room is quite spacious and my mom absolutely loves having her own patio. The staff is great, all are very friendly and helpful. We had a few issues with medications at first but they have since been straightened out. [name removed] is amazing and has gone out of her way to make mom comfortable and happy.

We toured the facility and cottage. the facility was nice and clean. We are in a process of comparing comparable properties in the Katy area.

Good overall care and services for residents. I would recommend it to others. Love that it is all inclusive!!

Only low rate for some cottages are pretty far from dining. Food is great. Activities are not well attended by cottage residents. I would recommend!

The management was knowledgeable and helpful. The location was good. The building was in need of some repair.

I would pick this facility again. My mother is doing better. The staff is very responsive to any questions I have or requests made in an effort to help my mom feel comfortable and safe.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Apartments are a generous size. Many great amenities offered for the residents to take advantage of.

The resident is enjoying activities. We have had some hiccups with the medical supervision. We hope things get better soon.

We had a few issues with their required Pharmacy services however, all in all the staff is kind and caring and it is a very nice environment. I would recommend it to others.

Staff were very professional and did well maintaining good communication with the resident's primary point of contact. However the facility is not suited for residents who reside in memory care and are diabetic. They are unable to perform daily blood sugar tests and must use home health care to do so. Home health will not test everyday. Also facility medical staff are unable to administer insulin as well.

Accommodations are nice. Staff is ok. Food quality and service could use improvement. They will only deliver food to the room at the end of cafeteria service and it's hit or miss that you will get what you ordered. Kitchen is small in unit - not ample counter space.

It has been good. There has been some turnover in the office area that has slowed some things in the transition process.

Great residents and wait staff… and the food is pretty good, I’m generally always full, ice cream, activities, definitely worth high price. Do the math. I did and it comes out in their favor… Felt like home the minute I moved in. People are absolutely precious here.
