They go over and beyond to care for my Mom. They have fun activities for the residents too. My mom has an ostomy and they are the only assisted living facility to provide that care. Her apartment is nice and has plenty of closet space.

The facility is attractive, always clean and bright. The staff is attentive, and the food is good. Mom does participate in the activities although she doesn't always understand what's going on. I would recommend anyone searching for memory care look into Kauhale.

5 very pleased with this place. The staff is very caring and patient. My mom loves the food and they have kept her very busy in between meals with activities. My mom is in one of the new rooms and it's a nice size. The staff keeps everything very clean. I honestly don't have any complaints as of yet. She's only been there a couple of months.

I was worried at first about mom not liking it. After two weeks my mom said she liked it a lot.

A friend of ours recommended Kauhale to us for my father in law. We could not be more pleased with this facility! Everyone we've met is kind and courteous, and they obviously care very passionately about their patients. The facility is sparkling clean and beautifully landscaped. There are a wealth of activities that include things like dominoes, musical events, and family gatherings at the facility, plus regular monthly excursions out for lunch, fishing, or shopping. Everyone from the facilty manager down to the busboy is an absolute pleasure to work with. They have 3 room sizes to choose from - studio, 1 bedroom, and 2 bedroom. The food is excellent and plentiful, and they even have a happy hour once a week. We feel the value for our money is outstanding and we could not be happier with the care my father in law is receiving. Bottom line - Kauhale has easily earned my highest possible recommendation!

1. The staff is extremely responsive to any requests. 2. The meals are great the only complaint the Mother in Law ever says "I can't eat it all". So we'll take tab as an "A+" in the grade book. 3. They have activities that the family are invited to attend.

They keep families informed of any changes to the residents. They will call you to discuss changes or just updates or if the resident is in need of anything. They answer emails in a timely manner, so that is very helpful. They are very kind to my mom and make sure she is doing well. During check in, they go over everything and will answer any and all questions.

The staff is friendly and capable, and the facility is clean and attractive. I would recommend. I especially like the daily activities for the residents and the special events.

It is a great place to live. Staff and residents are very caring and friendly. Everything has been great.

Since the sale of the property the food has declined substantially. Very few choices and quality has gone down. I am looking at moving because the new owners do not care about the residents. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Since they took over on [date removed] I have not received a correct monthly billing.

1. Everyone has always been helpful with my mother. 2. When needed, they will call and keep my brother and I informed. 3. I have not had anyone to be rude, everyone has always answered my questions. 4. I feel they have been concerned and reliable!

What we like the most about Kauhale Byrd Springs community is the staff and residents are friendly. We love the large windows that allow a lot of natural light into common spaces. It feels like a home.

I recommend this place. It turned my sister's life around. And now she can live with respect

The facility is immaculately clean, the aides and nurses are attentive. There are activities quite often, and the food is good.

I would write all the categories, a five, except for number eight because I have to have ice cream and toiletries delivered or brought to him on a regular basis. Yes, I would recommend Proveer at Port City to other families based on the experience so far.

We are still trying to get him out of the room to join activities. The staff has been great offering to help him. The staff have been so accommodating to his needs. He had several staff members he has connected with. We are still trying to get him acclimated. He was originally saying he would be home in a couple weeks and has stopped saying that.

[name removed] the director is amazing, she goes above and beyond in all areas, and the rest of the staff are always caring, friendly and helpful.

All 5. It's wonderful place. Perfect. Support the staff gives to their patents. My aunt feels at home there. Keeps her active. Even though she can't move much.

They were a huge help and moved fast to help us in a time of need. Our relative loves it there and is making friends. Room is nice and beautiful residents. Great food and service. We are grateful for their help

All personnel from the manager to the nurse to the maintenance supervisor to the daily aides all know how to deal with dementia patients in a kind and dignified way.
