My mother chose a cottage and the room sizes are perfect for her. The bedroom is big with two large closets. The kitchen is really big, living room is adequate. Outside space is nice and well maintained. She enjoys sitting outside. I can't say enough nice things about the staff. They are wonderful and she loves it there. A place for mom was the first step to changing my mom's life for the better by finding the perfect place for her.

We had a great experience. Ours was a little different. Mom passed away two days after we moved them in, and Dad passed away three months later. From [name removed], the director, to [name removed], the director of nursing, to [name removed] in food service, they all took great care of us and walked us through a very difficult few months. The food was good, and the room was plenty big enough for the amount of furniture we had.

Mam and I toured several places before visiting the Gardens. Immediately after we walked out the door she said "this is the place!" and she moves in a couple of weeks later. Since that day the staff has been amazing, making her feel at home and like a part of the family. I don't think she's regretted her decision for even a minute in the 6 or so months she has been there. Of course problems occasionally arise, witch are inevitable in a facility with so much going on. But the staff takes care of things immediately. Mom feels so well taken care of. Let me give a particular shout out to [name removed]. She is heaven sent and is the very definition of someone who goes above and beyond for the residents.

I have been 6 months and have not regretted my decision at all. The staff, from the top down, are a caring, friendly bunch of people who genuinely care for the residents. I have a made good social circle of friends with whom I can share activities. The housekeeping, maintenance, and laundry services are excellent. The facilities include a dinning room, movie room, beauty salon, a small library and a small chapel.

All the employees are nice and help mom with a smile. Grandma is always clean and well taken care of. Grandma has attended activities and made friends since she’s moved in. I’m glad we moved her into this community.

We have had to get my Dad into an ALF and it isn't easy. He is 84, has dementia, and is very malnourished and dehydrated. It was an emergency. They handled this situation like consummate professionals and assured us they can get him back to where he needs to be to have a better quality of life and nourished back to health. It's a beautiful facility and his room is awesome, and these folks are seriously making this as much easier and calming for us than we ever expected. This is the place for your loved one. They know what they are doing and they don't just leave the residents in their rooms and ignore them like some places I heard of. They come in and make sure he does what is needed for his health recovery, even when he's not keen on it they get it done and he agrees....and that's a feat with my Dad :). We are beyond grateful for all they are doing for him, we feel very blessed.

They have been okay for us. its difficult to care for a dementia patient that does not want to be there. So I cant say anything negative as I am 1800 miles away. I think they do their best. Our family also experienced a difficult transition from the hospital, as my loved one was discharged without medications or complete paperwork, which caused complications during the first 48 hours. While this was not the community's fault, it did create additional challenges for The Gardens of Buda and its staff as they worked to address the situation.

5 The family is very pleased. A night and day difference. We can see the peace on my husband's face. Thank you so much for your help! The staff is very helpful and friendly. We are pleased with the size of his room and the country views from his windows. We like the fact that they do each residents laundry separately. We appreciate that they do keep a close eye on the residents and have activities for them. My husband enjoys the snacks!

My dad had to go in to assisted living following a traumatic illness and an extended stay at a skilled nursing facility. It all happened rather quickly and [name removed] and the staff at Provident helped to make the transition as smooth as possible. They have welcomed him in and made him feel like a part of a community. From his room, to the med techs, and the entire staff… all have become an important part of his daily life. He stays active and involved thanks to their social director, [name removed] , and even enjoys a weekly on-site “Happy Hour” including live musical performances! The best part is that I have peace of mind knowing that my dad is well cared for and in the best place possible.

[name removed]and [name removed]do a wonderful job keeping this community an exciting and engaging place to live for its residents. I love the nature in and around the building - especially the spacious patio off the activity room where residents can relax in the shade and birdwatch. Inside, the activity room is always abuzz with engaging games and crafts led by activity director [name removed]. [name removed] is a multitalented leader who keeps the building streamlined and well-maintained for residents. Her expertise as an RN ensures residents receive top-quality care 24/7. In all, it’s an engaging, welcoming, and well-run facility I always look forward to visiting.

I have been going to Provident at Buda Assisted Living for years. They give excellent care to the elderly. This is a very caring and loving facility. They are very hands on with all of their residents. They go above and beyond to make sure their residents feel at home. This is a place I would recommend anyone to take their love ones. They make you feel like real family. The staff is wonderful!
