Fourmidable

Every year I am here I enjoy it more. The staff adds a lot of new activities so you can be as busy or lazy as you like. I love it here. The food is to die for! I have been here quite a while and it really is special.

Brookhaven is a quiet, clean. well maintained facility. I have lived here for 5 years, which should be recommendation enough. The staff is competent and unfailingly friendly. The overall ambience is welcoming. The Activities department provides a wide range of entertainment. You can be involved as much as you choose. If even more excitement is required, downtown is easily accessible. If you are bored, it is your own fault. Food. It is hard to please all the people all the time, but the kitchen staff provides a nourishing, palatable range of dishes. Again, you can opt for full board or just individual meals.

I am very happy here. Everyone here is very attentive. My first experience here was coming from the Hospital and came straight to the welcome activity. I was greeted with many wonderful staff and people who live here. When they called my name they said I could speak or not speak, and I said everyone has been so nice to me. I told them I was named after my Grandfather on my mothers side of the family. The food is great, the staff is wonderful and it really feels like home.

When I was looking for a senior community to move into I looked at several places in the area. I chose Brookhaven Manor for several reasons! Location, the had a courteous staff, excellent foodand the lovely balcony and patio for each apartment. After 10 and a half years at Brookhaven and after talking to friends at other communities, Brookhaven is still at the top of the list.

Still meeting new friendly neighbors all the time. Facility is a terrific home. I enjoy all the activities and am playing games all the time - scrabble, bingo, rummikub, canasta, dominoes. And yet, I also enjoy time in my own apartment reading, stitching, watching television. Brookhaven felt like home from the first time I entered the facility. I so love not having to shop and cook. Meals are very edible and I have few complaints and the kitchen staff is always willing to listen to suggestions. My sheets and towels are laundered and my apartment is cleaned by the wonderful housekeeping staff.

Cordiality-Outstanding is the cordial outreach that exist not only among the residents themselves but also within the administrative, activities, dietary, janitorial, and housekeeping staffs. It's a very welcoming environment. Activities- The activities staff provides a robust weekly schedule of a wide range of events. Among the choices are fitness activities, Bingo, musical performances, lectures, movies, teat times and much more. Annually a residents appreciation week takes place. Based on a particular theme, the week offers daily events based on the theme. Meals-Lunch and dinner are sit down meals with table service in the dining room. Breakfast is available in the Bistro. Apartments- The apartments contain well-defined and sizable living rooms and one or two bedrooms. There is fully equipped kitchenette. The apartments contain a storage room. Onsite Home Care Service- Although Brookhaven Manor is an independent living facility there is convenient onsite home care service which

Brookhaven is a very homey atmosphere. The staff is amazing, they are present and they know our names. Residents are friendly and helpful There is a generous list of activities and opportunities for socializing.

Everyone at Brookhaven is welcoming, friendly and kind. The staff and everyone here is good to us, the staff does all they can to make us happy. Every time I travel, it always feels good to come back to my apartment and say home sweet home.

Brookhaven is a great place! Always welcoming when you arrive! Always smiling faces around the building. From the staff as well as residents. They all make you feel welcome! Always kept clean and smelling great! Brookhaven is in a great location as well. Close to shopping and medical needs. Also close to u of m stadium :). Overall Brookhaven is a wonderful place!!!!

My grandma has been living in this senior living community, and our family has been very happy with the care that she receives. The staff are kind, patient, and genuinely care about the residents. The community feels welcoming and safe, and it’s clear that they work hard to make residents feel comfortable and supported. Knowing my grandma is treated with respect and compassion gives us a lot of peace of mind. We’re grateful to have found a place where she is well cared for a valued.

I love so many things about Brookhaven. I love my apartment. I love the staff (truly everyone). There is no one that has not been so helpful in all ways. The kitchen is superb with amazing food and several options to choose from. They love to keep us active. The exercise program is the the best. The activities department does a great job with several activities to choose from for everyone. BINGO is the best. Moving here was the best decision for me. Thank you Brookhaven for all you do for me.

The food is excellent especially with alternatives available. Excellent and friendly staff. Good variety of activities available. Outside activities via bus include lunch bunch and other fun events for the residents to enjoy.

Ive lived here for 6 years. I like the friendly staff. The food is great. The community is nice and clean. I love playing bingo, arts and crafts, music. I enjoy the fitness classes 3 times a week. I highly recommend

Brookhaven is the best. I have lived here for 12 years and I am very very happy. All of the staff are great and they are very friendly. The food is delicious and the dining room staff are so friendly. Office staff, housekeeping, and maintenance are tremendous. I highly recommend Brookhaven to everybody

I have lived at brookhaven for over five years now. The employee's are truly wonderful. My unit is perfect for myself. The food is amazing, although I always go to the dinner's. Although I do not parkake most of the time, I hear a lot of great things about the activities. I love how my unit faces the south on the third floor.

I love everything all around. The food is wonderful! The housekeeping staff, dining room staff, and office staff are all so wonderful and welcoming. As the years have progressed they have added a lot more activities. We are able to stay busy most of. The menu's are switched around every three weeks but there is plenty of variety.

I have lived here for three and a half years now. Good digs, the staff is wonderful and attentive. I really enjoy the food. I am able to walk my dog and take him out since I live on the first floor..

I love working for this community, the residents and the staff are just wonderful to work with. They always have fun things to do, places to go and activities. Wonderful place to check out if you're considering a retirement community.

I have lived in Brookhaven MANOR FOR 2 YEARS. I thoroughly enjoy living here. The staff and residents are very friendly. They are very helpful in assisting people when they need help. They are supportive when people are having challenges in their lives. In addition, there are activity directors that provide terrific daily activities of all kinds: live music, arts and crafts, and painting. Monthly field trips to points of interest are scheduled for enjoyment. There are exercise classes several days a week by physical therapists, essential for seniors to maintain their health. They have a resident council for residents to meet monthly to share their views and raise any questions or concerns. Brookhaven is a fantastic place to live and I am extremely happy that I now reside here and have the opportunity to meet new friends and enjoy exciting experiences in this time of my life!

When we first moved here, I did not expect to like it. Since being here, we have loved going to Fox for therapy. The food is wonderful and I love the fries. It scary moving into a home but the people here have made the difference. The food is our favorite thing. We normally stay inside our home, but we do like interacting with the people in the dining room. The trails around the outside of the building are really nice during the summer time, and the halls inside make it easy for a nice winter stroll, without getting cold!
