Certus Senior Living

The staff are very friendly and patient with residents. The apartments are nice and roomy but not always cleaned properly. The food is very tasty and nutritious with proper portions. There are plenty of wonderful activities to keep residents active and engaged. Based on the experience, we would recommend this community to other families.

My mother's health has improved dramatically since being st Certus. She has checked on hourly and they are extremely patient with her no matter how many times a day they have to tell her to put her oxygen back on. She works well in the garden and there are many activities for her to enjoy overall. Certus has been wonderful for my mother. My only issue is staff turnover, and that makes things such as billing, medication's , information and other things a little more difficult to stay on top of.

I really can't say enough about Certus The staff always making sure that my wife safe and happy clean and always keep an eye out The rooms are nice size with private bathrooms The places always clean and smells good I like the separation of the social activity room from the dining room from the entertainment area. All nicely set up. Like I said the place in my estimation is the best around

Staff is fantastic and really get to know the needs of their residents. Yes, I would 100% recommend. I'm very impressed with the activities staff, the caregivers, med techs and chefs! All amazing and caring people.

It's a great place. Very caring staff, and a good management crew. Excellent facilities. Activity room with 4 hours of activities every day. Twice a week bus trips around the area, with occasional stops. On facility nursing and health care every day. Good meals served 3 times a day. 2 areas with couches and TV's which are very quiet during activities for those that don't want to participate.

I would recommend setting up review of medication's given on a weekly basis, reviewing emergency buttons and their health monitoring system in the rooms on a monthly basis and isolating out a named individual. You can work with to get this done.

The staff is very attentive, friendly and caring. My sister is very content and happy there. Also, I am always notified if anything should change or happen. Yes, I would recommend CERTUS.

We moved Dad to CERTUS early January. It has taken some time for him to accept the new surroundings and to begin joining in to the activities. Dad has adapted to the schedule CERTUS keeps. He gets three meals a day but more importantly he sits with the same people at every meal thus ensuring him familiarity he needs. The staff are attentive and do their best to supply any needed assistance. We have had an opportunity to work with the medical staff. They are helpful, quick and kind. The team that engages the residents in activities are great. They do their best to fill the days with exercise, games, movies, snacks, etc. We are so glad that Dad is not spending his entire day sitting in his room watching tv. All-in-all we are pleased having moved Dad to CERTUS. He is much happier than in his last memory care center. P.s. the "concierge" and front end staff are super, friendly and helpful.

CERTUS puts a lot of effort into the well being of their residents. They stay up to date on recent care methods and technologies to deal with Medical and Memory Issues. Would highly recommend.

The Certus staff is well-trained, professional and friendly. The food is of a high quality and healthy. The facilities are clean and the activities are frequent and keep the residents engaged. On a more personal note, my relative, who entered the facility with a noticeable stutter, now speaks much more clearly. Whether that is a result of the speech therapy he's received at Certus, or the better diet, or the fact that the administration of his previously prescribed medicine is now being administered properly is unknown. However, the result is undeniable. Certus is a 5 out of 5.

Great staff and very approachable management. I would recommend to others.

Nice open floor plan. Many residents out in the common areas. Lunch in one of the dining rooms was enjoyable. The daily schedule of activities is full of activities that help the residents keep their minds working. Overall we are pleased with this facility and look forward to moving my father in.

Staff does a great job keeping the residents actively involved in entertainment. They genuinely care about the residents also. Rooms are very large for this type of a facility. Is it a top notch memory care facility.

Certus 5 +++++++++. We were always kind and left with a thank you. Praise god where my mom is at right. Happy , takes her showers without force , a chef in site that makes phenomenal meals , clean , rooms always spotless. So blessed to have her out of there

It's a little pricey but so worth it. It's a beautiful and wonderful community. The staff there are so wonderful and caring. And it's very secure.

In the morning the residents are cleaned up and dressed for the day. They go into the community and their room door is locked. They can return of course on request, but this locked door policy is a good one. Residents are kept active all day with meals and activities. The social interaction is vital. Residents commune indoors at various venues or outdoors in a secure courtyard. Everything is colorful and beautiful. The residents typically do not return to their rooms until bedtime. This locked door policy prevents random wandering from room to room, resulting in privacy issues and picking up objects belonging to others. The staff is attentive and caring to the needs of the residents.

Certus Dr Phillips is a beautiful, science backed memory care. It’s amazing how each detail is well thought out and executed. Choosing a memory care is always a difficult decision. I recommend taking a look for yourself. This is a great addition to the Dr Philips community.

I recently visited Certus Vero Beach on my search for a memory care community for my mother. I met with [name removed], who was awesome! The staff was very friendly and residents all looked happy and well cared for. I was impressed with the attention to detail, from the floor coverings, paint colors, cleanliness, amenities, etc. - all keeping in mind the safety and memory care needs of the residents. Of all of the places I visited, this was definitely a favorite. My only hesitation was the price. We ended up choosing another facility that is more convenient to where I live and that I felt would be a good fit for my mom, but I highly recommend Certus if you’re looking for a great memory care community.

This is an amazing facility. My mom was there about a year before passing away a few days ago. When incontinence became an issue at her last residence, we knew we had to find her a new place. That's when I contacted you and how we wound up at Certus. All I can say is thank you a thousand times over. My mother was always clean and well taken care of even though her memory loss made her aggressive and difficult to care for at times. I can't recommend Certus enough. When she became a hospice patient, they allowed her to stay on instead of going to a nursing home. This allowed her to age in place and pass away peacefully with dignity and grace. Please recommend Certus to everyone. We all should be lucky enough to have the care Certus provides as we age.

The staff at Certus are great. They know everyone's name, are friendly, helpful and able to answer questions or respond to needs. They are kind and patient with residents. The facility itself is pleasant with large open spaces and good lighting where residents can walk, sit, and enjoy the surroundings. Food seems to be quite good. There are daily activities to engage residents in physical motion or to stimulate their minds. Special occasions such as holidays and birthdays are noted and celebrated. Periodically musicians visit to play for the residents. Certus is quite a cut above a number of facilities.
