Brookdale

My loved one is doing good at Brookdale Lakewood. The food is really good, and the staff are very friendly.

Did appreciate the hair salon, very friendly and worked with me to get appointments setup for my Mom. I didn't like when the staff removed items from my mom's room for her safety and not contact me. ie some little black lacquer tables with glass tops and original decor. I understand why but should have called me to see if I wanted to come pick them up. Instead I went in to visit my mom and noticed they were gone and had to inquire. End result they lost the glass table tops and they replaced them after I had to go through a lot of hoops. [name removed] was great! The medical staff kept me up to date on my Mom's condition, Father [name removed] called and talked to me and a counselor. Brookdale staff knew me when I came to visit and were friendly. I just felt I got lip service when I had some issues and took awhile to resolve. I told one person in charge of the dementia side I didn't want to complain but that was for my mom's comfort etc. They were supposed to keep her hearing aids at the nurses station and each morning put them in and at night keep them at their station. I don't think they did so and one of the hearing aids was lost. These were expensive. I had to buy a hearing headset amplifier for her to use instead. My suggestion would be ,if you have a loved one there be present as much as you are able to in order to get to know staff and let them see you are involved. But again dealing with a loved one with dementia it was harder for me to come visit each week because of what dementia does to a person.

Brookdale Watauga is a small, personable community. Everyone knows everyone there and we really like that. I would recommend this facility to those looking for assisted living.

I have only met a handful of the staff and they were very nice. I think what drives me crazy the most concerning the facility is when the staff says they are going to do something, but they do not. There have been numerous complaints about the food quality. I would recommend Brookdale Jones Farm to others.

As it is still new and we are getting acclimated to the facility, overall my mom and family feel it is a great fit for her. We know she is safe and well cared for....which is very comforting. The staff is very nice and helpful. Although I may be a bit biased, i would like to see more consistency with the care provided by the aids due to my mom's eye sight and walking and the need for a little more TLC. Nevertheless overall we are very pleased with everything to date.

The staff is fantastic , caring and compassionate. The executive director is not a good manager. Period. When her cleaning person was out due to a death on the family, there were no temps to take her place. No contingency plan. Accordingly, my MIL's room was dirty for almost a month. I cleaned her room. It's only when we bring these issues to her attention does anything get changed.

We are new to the facility, all staff is very nice.

There are some areas they could improve on but overall the apartments are nice and roomy with a lot of storage space. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend the Brookdale Farmington Hills community to others

Overall, Brookdale does a very good job in caring for the residents. Friendly staff, and employees are very gentle and caring. Does a good job in maintaining the promises in cleanliness.

Kind staff and friendly facility and good community feeling but it is expensive for what you get, and they are very slow and almost passive when it comes to medical emergencies/treatment. Main selling point is kindness of the community Overall I would recommend Brookdale Skeet Club to others.

Most of the help is very friendly but they do seem short handed. The laundry has been a constant problem with getting all your clothes back. Overall you could pick everything apart if you wanted too but they do their best. They are nice. They have doctors coming in. Overall no major complaints my sister is taken care of

Very good social culture and friendliness between residents, and between staff and residents. Mom is very social and preferred and likes the set meal times vs coming and going at any time or wide time ranges.

Friendly Resident Ambassadors, a fabulous new resident orientation binder, updated flooring and carpet in each unit, lovely courtyards and grounds for walking (not right on a busy street, like some other facilities), etc. are just some of the bonus features that we love. I would 100% recommend Brookdale Chambrel Roswell to others.

My days here at Brookdale Castle Gardens have been comfortable, welcoming and enjoyable in that I have the opportunity to meet interesting people. Some want to talk my ears off, but others share their stories without monopolizing the same the whole lunch hour. The staff gets 5 stars for their services. The food is good, prepared tastefully and served attractively. I like the flowers on the plate. All in all, this is my Happy Place for this time in my life.

My loved one is a resident at Brookdale Urbana. The staff is friendly and makes a good effort. The care services are good. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The value for cost is also good.

I would recommend the facility. Overall they are doing well.

My loved one is currently a resident at Brookdale Diablo Lodge and the overall experience has been good. It's a good place if you have a social senior/loved one. Otherwise, find someplace cheaper would be my suggestion.

The facility is well maintained, through the grounds need some work. The staff says they will do something, but then it doesn't get done, or the person who is supposed to have information doesn't have it. The staff is friendly, but don't really promote activities where the new people get to know the ones who've been there awhile. The meals just have the flavor of mass produced meals, and are sometimes cold or lukewarm.

I am not permitted to go in while they eat, the food I have seen I would not eat They don't tell you about a price increase after the first year My increase was [removed] dollars per month 11% increase There are 3 places here, mom showed her back side with [facility name removed], I didn't know about [facility name removed], so Brookdale was my only option. I went to [facility name removed]., and I like that place. Was going to move mom there. It's clean, updated.... smaller residence for memory care. Less chaos. Honestly, I could not do what those people do. I don't have tolerance. They're very careful with the residences. But it's total chaos with so many patients with memory issues

I would recommend. In fact, one of my friends lives there & recommended it to me.
