Brookdale

My Grandmother is still adjusting, she is little confused, but doing great at Brookdale Medi Park West. She is enjoying it and has made a few friends, she has them come to her room and hang out, since she still isn't too sure about participating in the activities for everyone. The staff go above and beyond and are very helpful. My Grandmother is picky about what she will eat and the food is wonderful. I recommend everyone to go there. In fact my Aunt and Mom's boss have both moved in there now.

We're very pleased with how things have gone so far at Brookdale Clinton! The staff is wonderful. They're compassionate, professional, and very friendly! They take great care of our loved one, and I appreciate that they always make sure her hair is washed and her nails are filed. The activities director does a great job, as well, there's always something going on to keep the residents busy.

My mother has adapted well since moving to Brookdale. Things are going good there, there she is currently in the hospital with pnuemonia, but that is not the community's fault at all. The staff there is very involved with the residents and they have events and activities constantly to keep everyone busy and happy.

Updated apartments. No dishwashers but very big with lots of closet space. Can have own washer dryer unit in apartment at a one time cost of 1500.00 installed in a closet by Brookdale. Includes 2 meals a day no assigned seating in dining room. Lots of activities and center of complex has an open concept with a mezzanine on the second floor. All floors above look over the mezzanine.

I can't say enough good things about Brookdale St. Augustine, they've been a real godsend! The people here are friendly, knowledgeable, they received us warmly, and they've gone out of their way to help us with any issues that have come up. The facility is clean and nice, and they take great care of the residents. I highly recommend the place!

Our experience with Brookdale Southside has been a very positive one! The staff here is friendly, professional, and so accommodating! Our loved one had a lot of special needs and they really went out of their way to work with us to make sure those were met. It's just a very nice place, overall!

My Husband has only been here for a few days, so far everyone has been very helpful and accommodating. Delicious meals and loving caregivers. My husband has acclimated quite well. So far we are very happy!!!

Thank you to A Place for Mom for helping us find Brookdale Chandler Regional. My mother immediately felt good about the facility when we went to visit. She has found everyone to be friendly (she gets called by name by all the staff, unfortunately she doesn't hear well or see well, so she doesn't always know that people are talking to her, and if she does, she doesn't always recognize their faces!) and very helpful. I had the pleasure of staying with Mom for a weekend, and got to meet several of the staff members. Jelena in the dining room has been especially gracious, and brings Mom the special pastry she likes for breakfast. Deanna has been so helpful in checking after Mom. Sheila always makes sure Mom is ready for church on Sundays. And when Mom was being a little reluctant to participate, Tracy went to her room and brought her to the exercise program! Thank you to all the staff for your help and understanding in dealing with the elderly. I am happy to know Mom is being cared for so well.

Beautiful community. Seems very upscale. Front desk person was a little put off we were therexpecting saying they did not have enough notice and no one to give tour. She did leave desk for quick tour. No way to get pricing.

On my visit here in our search for a place for our mother with dementia, I was very impressed. This is a very warm, caring, clean community. The people working here pay very close attention to the needs of the residents, and clearly care about them as individuals. The facility is very nice, attractive, with a great layout - circular around an outdoor courtyard. While it provides an aesthetic focal point (windows overlooking the courtyard), the practical side is that it also allows the staff to see what’s going on over pretty much all of the common areas. Attention is given to the individual residents at meal time to ensure everyone eats. The rooms are good sized, so even if they are shared there is a fair amount of closet space. Nice bathroom in the rooms, easily handicapped accessible. But most importantly, the people working here a clearly truly caring. The residents gravitate to them, and obviously just think the world of them. That spoke volumes to me. This was at the top of my list of choices. The main reason we selected another community was, unfortunately, location - this one was far enough away and the other one very close, so we would be able to spend more time with our mom. If we hadn’t found one we felt was just as caring and clean, though, we would have sacrificed the distance and chosen Brookdale Danville.

Popped in on the spur of the moment and Rick graciously took the time to show us around. Clean, friendly, homey environment. Very impressed with the facility.

"Exceptional and genuine care!" The entire staff of Brookdale Conway, went above and beyond our expectations. Dad was no longer to live on his own, the transition to Brookdale was seamless. They genuinely and lovingly made this dad's new home. Our dad was given the best of care. The food, activities and friendliness are outstanding! We are forever grateful, and highly recommend Brookdale Conway, SC.

Our experience with Brookdale Ormond Beach has been a very positive one! The staff here is friendly and professional, and they've been incredibly attentive to the needs of my loved one. The facility is clean and nice looking, and they seem to do a great job looking out for everyone. My only complaint would be the food. It's not bad, just what you'd expect from a nursing home.

Friendly! Smelled normal. Very clean. Residents appear to get along and are friendly with each other. Residents appear to be well-kept. Lunch was OK. Light and bright. No one sitting around looking deserted. Studio big enough, but not huge. 1 bdrm is roomy. Lots of sitting areas. Exercise classes twice a day.

The experience with Brookdale has been fantastic! I went to about ten other places before deciding on Brookdale and let me just say that this was by far the best experience we had. Dava was the only person out of all the communities that took a personal interest in my Dad and not just make it about money. The fact that they are so knowledgeable on alzheimers and dementia definitely makes the transition easier. Since he's moved we are all at ease knowing he is in good hands and with people he can relate to.

The staff is professional and well trained. Always pleasant and helpful. The number of residents in memory care is small which prevented Daddy from feeling overwhelmed. I visited several places and my sister and brothers agree the right place for him is Brookdale!

My mom stayed at Brookdale for 3 weeks during her recovery time from a fall. The staff was fabulous, going above and beyond to meet our families needs. The respite room was fully furnished and very comfortable. It was beautiful too. It was great that there was an on-site beauty salon so that my mom could get her hair and nails done weekly. The dining room provided meals throughout the day that allowed my mom to come and go on her own time. She enjoyed the variety in the menu. I really liked too that its location is close to a CVS, which allows the residents the opportunity to go and shop somewhere close by if interested. I was truly impressed with Brookdale and would highly recommend this facility.

My loved one has only been here a few weeks, but so far our experience with Brookdale Monroe has been a very positive one! The staff here is friendly, conscientious, and professional. I really like that everyone helps out with everything, we visited for a spaghetti dinner and I saw their finance manager out helping to serve food! My loved one really enjoys the dining service, they serve the meals restaurant style and the food itself is very very good!

A Place For Mom got us launched well into the investigative portion quickly. We did site visits and were so pleased each place welcomed us with open arms. What sold us on Brookdale Foundation House was the friendliness of the staff and the residence. Everyone was happy which is a reflection of the over all operations. We are grateful we found an apartment that our Mom can just stay put over time and as her needs change the staffing will come to her rather than having to think about moving again. A great model that has brought us all comfort and confidence. Thank you a Place For Mom and Brookdale Foundation House!

I cannot say enough positive about Brookdale Southside during my search for a community for my mother. Kathy [removed] we so open and helpful with her guidance. Cathy and Carolyn @ Brookdale could not have been more informative and helpful. I think the thing that I appreciated the most that there was no feeling of pressure. Actions speak louder than words I felt a good feeling of home. We are excited for her move on March 2.
