Brookdale

We're very impressed with the staff and facility. Everyone has made my father very welcome. He's in independent living in a studio apartment and it's perfect for him. The employees are kind and attentive. From our initial tour through move-in, and after, the Brookdale team has been outstanding. Excellent dining options and many activities each day to keep my father engaged. Participate as much as you like as a resident and family is made to feel most welcome. On-site 24/7 nursing staff is wonderful. We appreciate the regular communication the Brookdale team has with my father and with me and my family. We're so pleased he is thriving in this environment. Excellent value. Clean, but a little refresh to paint touch ups around the elevator, and new carpeting throughout would be welcome.

I went to Mediterranean lunch in spindale home. The food was wonderful the staff was top of the line. Had a A plus day and lunch. Learn about diet and plan on starting I. Again thanks to great lunch

They have the friendliest of staff. I like the activities and meeting some great people. I would recommend this community to others who are searching for one.

The nurse we worked with was exceptional. She answered our many questions. The facility was clean. We were comforted by the care he was provided in his final days.

5 across the board. It's about [Amount removed] more per month. They have exceeded our expectations in every regard and he is quickly adapting to the routine. Food is excellent, medication is being administered consistently and correctly, he's engaged daily with exercise and games and has adapted to it as his new home. He understands he won't be going home and has agreed to sell his car and house. As expected there were a few bumps in the first 2 weeks but those are behind us and we're ecstatic to know that he's safe, comfortable and well taken care for.

The people that were assigned to check in on her were awesome! The ones that got her up and ready for bed-my mom loved them. Mom also loved the dining hall, the food and her residents she sat with-her apt was very spacious and the amenities were good.

My grandmother has now been a resident for a little over a month. Her care has been nothing short of phenomenal. From the admissions process, to the activities, to the assistance in filing a long term care claim, the staff goes above and beyond to make the experience the best it can be. Not only do they provide excellent care for their residents, the support of their families by the staff is the best I have ever experienced. Brookdale Union Park is far and away the right place for people who require assistance but can still live semi independently! I truly could not ask for better in any area!

I like how helpful the staff are with questions and concerns. The atmosphere is cozy and cheery and fun. The staff decorate for holidays. One very important aspect not present is the residents are not able to take short trips or visits to stores or events outside of Brookdale. They do not have a driver for the bus yet. I feel very lucky too. I found BROOKDALE for my mom. And I am very happy that she lives there.

What stood out, is how clean it is. And the people there seem to really care. They make her stay enjoyable

Location and the staff is what stood out the most.

Smaller community. Yes, would recommend. It's too soon to tell if anything could be improved.

They cook, clean, and do laundry for her. Everyone is friendly and they have lots of activities. She LOVES it.

Brookdale has been such a blessing for my dad. The staff is wonderful and take such amazing care of him.

From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcomed by [name removed] and [name removed]—they have both been wonderful. [name removed] at the front desk is also amazing and always helpful. The rooms are just the right size, which works well for someone like my aunt who has dementia and is used to living in a smaller space. I also really appreciate how residents are placed in small dining groups so they can build friendships and feel more connected. I recently attended a family chorus event on Saturday, and it was outstanding. Residents sang in the chorus, and they provided sweets, soda, juice, beer, and wine for everyone. It was a great time for both the residents and their families. I’m really glad we decided to choose this community.
