Brookdale

Brookdale Pointe West is a clean, professionally-run facility. The staff is caring, the management is dedicated and the food is excellent. I would highly recommend Brookdale Pointe West.

The caregivers at brookdale Champions are very helpful to the resident, they are very helpful when it comes to the resident special needs. They offer great meal service for lunch, breakfast, and dinner. Brookdale Champions offer a variety of activities for their residents such as like Bingo, Bird Feeding classes, live music, bus outting outside, the community grounds. They also offer fitness class Mon-Sun.

Staff very welcoming. Concerns promptly addressed by either staff or administratiom. Food very good, accomodates dietary problems immediately. Other places were always too salty or too much fried foods, not here. Home health link valuable w/NP, PT.

I didn’t realize it was a private pay building and I was looking for more of a Medicaid building . The person who gave me the tour, gave me some great insight of places I should be looking at. She was very thorough and made sure I had all the information I needed to continue my search to find a great home for my dad .

My mother just moved into Brushy Creek, and she is so happy! From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcome and comfortable! All of the staff was willing to take their time to answer my questions, both on the phone, and in person. We got a tour, my mom was able to eat lunch there, and all of the staff was extremely friendly! Everytime we came to bring some of her stuff, everyone kept asking how soon she was coming. My mom is a very social person, and she really likes the interactions she's getting at Brookdale at Brushy Creek. Anytime I need something, they are always very quick to respond! This is an amazing place for people who want to move into an assisted living opportunity. [Names Removed] have especially helped me feel comfortable, and my mom feel loved. Thank you to everyone there!

The staff is very attentive and caring. They also are very good at communicating with family members.

Brookdale was an extremely clean and friendly place. All the employees I met were happy to say hello and chat a bit. A couple of residents were enjoying the outdoor courtyard, which was very beautiful with birdfeeders and even a couple of curious terrapins. The dining area was very homey feeling. They even cook eggs to order for breakfast. They also consider their residents feet and offer a podiatry time.

Very friendly and professional staff. I liked the homely feeling of the facility. Lots of activities and the menu looked delicious. The tour was also informative, since this was my first tour of an Assisted Living facility.

Brookdale Galleria has been, by far, the best assisted living community our family has experienced in over 20 years of caring for elderly loved ones. Our family member has absolutely blossomed there. The transition from the hospital to Brookdale’s skilled nursing and assisted living programs was smooth and well coordinated. The staff has been professional, caring, and attentive, and one of the biggest positives has been the consistency of the team, with many staff members having been there for decades. The Wellness Director and nursing staff have been instrumental in improving our loved one’s overall health and quality of life. The ability to coordinate lab work, doctor appointments, transportation, and wellness oversight has made an enormous difference for our family. The food is very good and healthy, the activities and outings are engaging, and the private dining experiences have been wonderful for family gatherings. Our loved one is more active, more social, and feels better than she has in years. After six months, this is the first assisted living community that has kept every promise made during the tour process and has consistently gone above and beyond our expectations.

Met with the Director, and she was very kind, and listened to our needs. She is obviously very proud of her facility and happily showed it off during our tour. I especially appreciated seeing her stop to greet residents by name, and make sure they were taken care of as we continued the tour. The facility was spacious, light, and sunny, and smelled fresh and clean. The residents seemed healthy, happy and comfortable. I would be pleased to recommend Brookdale Hearthstone to anyone who needs assisted living care.

The sales person did a great job of showing the facility and explaining pricing. There seemed to be a lot of activity going on.

Good place. Very bright and cheerful. My father wants to live in the same apartment with his wife. It is not possible here. He has to decide what to do. This is a great option for consideration.

The staff was very attentive, welcoming, and provided my family member with excellent care. I appreciated their communication and service from the move-in process throughout living at the facility. It is a very clean, well maintained facility. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

Overall, everything looked good, especially considering it was a transfer from another Brookdale community in Kansas. The staff in Memory Care are wonderful — especially [name removed], who was particularly helpful and caring.

I chose this facility because of the access to church services, the handrails throughout the building, and the friendly atmosphere. However, the dining schedule feels very repetitive — Thursdays are always pasta night and Tuesdays are always Taco Tuesday with no substitutions or variety offered. More flexibility and meal options would make the experience much better.

All in all everything is great. However, clothes tend to get lost pretty frequently. Meaning, when laundry is done or they leave a sweater in the common areas, it's not getting returned to its rightful owner. Even though we put labels on everything aside from that everything's great.
